MJM: Rishell’s Chances “Down The Drain”

This is one even the Manassas Journal-Messenger couldn’t ignore:
The House Rules Committee made the administrative change to raise the per diem payment.
That means there was no vote on the pay increase.
That means Miller couldn’t have voted for it.
That means that the mailer is false.
We don’t know how much money Rishell spent on the mailer, but we do know that she should have done more research before throwing that money, and any chance she had of winning this race, down the drain.
It’s nice to see that even the editorial board of the Journal-Messenger can recognize a liar. Hopefully this will help the voters recognize this also.

I know she says one thing and does another (or has NO intention of doing what she says). She says she is tough on illegal immigration (on her web site), however, she won’t endorse 287g (at least she won’t send me a response stating so when I directly asked her). Classic, “she will say anything to get elected syndrome” and once elected, doesn’t do anything and points fingers! Wow, this sounds like a familiar concept with alot of our elected officials these days! This is why we need people like Tom Tancredo. He is willing to state specifically what he will do. Not only that, he is taking action by sending letters to the Senate, etc. calling them out on the tough issues!

We see action such as in the article above all around us. We need to quit talking and start enforcing the laws!
I am happy to see that the MJM did their jobs on this. I wish they’d have pointed out that it wasn’t one mailer. It was 3 mailers that told the lie, and there was also a robo-call.

We need elected officials (like those in OK). Excellent quote from the article and something for us all to remember:

She is the typical liberal, and got caught in a lie. I wonder what her response will be to all of this?
Yesterday I noticed that someone had pulled her signs from the median on Manassas Dr near the Bloom’s Crossing entrance. I wonder if even she recognizes the futility of her campaign. I wish I had noticed if the signs were still up in her own yard as I went past her home on my way to work.
These lies had been circulating for at least two weeks now, and the MJM was silent until recently. I doubt that MJM would have ever reported on this except for pressure from people like us. Either that or that Rishell campaign has become such a huge embarrassment that even MJM could no longer ignore it.

Also, I wonder if the MJM will endorse Miller? Considering that the editorial staff has called Rishell what she is (a liar), I would think they would endorse Miller.

Folks, dont get so complacent. I certainly will vote for Jackson Miller. Just remember though, very few people read this paper.
I was impressed with Mrs. Rishell and was considering casting my vote for her after she came to my door early this summer. Then I got her mail barrage. She lost my vote after the first piece. She incurred my absolute disdain after the fourth or fifth piece.
You bigots have no idea. Jeanette will weather this storm. Her campaign has twice the energy and twice the amount of money raised. Her base is so much more motivated. This is a small bump in the road.

She needed to run a flawless campaign to be close. This is the most mistake-riddled campaign I’ve seen anywhere in Virginia this cycle.
I’ve got to check the reports on VPAP to see what her consultants and manager are getting paid. Whatever the amount being paid — she’s getting ripped off BAD.

Enough to buy an election? It takes more than money to win.
What are Rishell’s accomplishements? She has none.
Where is her integrity? Lying about her position on illegal immigration and lying about her opponent’s record show that she has no integrity.
Rishell campaign is dead, and Rishell herself has dug its grave.
As many of you did, I had the opportunity to visit with Rishell for about 15 minutes on my porch a few weeks ago. She came across as a hard-working and concerned candidate although my impression was that she was not the sharpest knife in the drawer. Maybe she was getting worn out that day. I don’t know.
But her apparently false/misleading accusations of Miller have completely dismissed her as a delegate in my opinion. This is not “a small bump in the road” for her. These false/misleading accusations infuriate me as much as that despicable sign in old town Manassas.
She may have a lot of campaign money for damage control, but does she and her staff have the intelligence to spin herself out of this debacle????

You are confusing activity with productivity. It’s easy to be hard. It’s hard to be smart. Rishell may have raised some money. She may have knocked on a lot of doors, but she’s made some fatal mistakes. The editorial in the MJM is the final nail in her political coffin. Between the blogs, and the MJM, the word is out: Rishell Lies Like a Rug. The debates will be very bad for her. Since she’s been proven to be a LIAR, she will have no credibility with the voters. Regardless of what positions she has, no one will believe a thing she says, and rightfully so. I think she will get her ass handed to her in the first debate, and every debate from then on. Consider that Americans distrust in government is growing. If Rishell has integrity issues, she will not be elected. All the “energy” and “money” won’t change this. The fact is Jeanette Rishell is a lying sack of dung. Game, Set, Match.

Just got an automated call from Rishell’s office. They are having a barbecue this Sunday at Signal Hill. Maybe, just maybe, she will be serving crow.

I attended the debate last year at the AMC. She was pathetic. I have had two chances to talk with her this year, and both times I had her running from me, because she could not answer my questions.

Bigots? I think anyone who calls people bigots because they oppose a liberal is the real bigot. Though, I doubt you even know what a bigot is, since you misused it in the first place. She lied and got caught.
The MJM endorsed Miller last year.
Will the lies never cease? Today, I got another mailer from her, saying Miller voted to give illegal aliens a pass on abusive driver fees. It was Governor Kaine who stipulated that the fines would apply to Virginians only.
