Hillary Announces Amnesty Plan
By Greg L | 4 October 2007 | National Politics, Illegal Aliens | 18 Comments
This comes as no surprise: Hillary Clinton is advocating for amnesty for illegal aliens, according to an article in today’s Washington Times.
“I believe we have to, as part of comprehensive immigration reform, create a path to earned legalization and I will continue to stand for that and advocate for that.”
For those who might be somewhat confused about which “path” she might be referring, it’s one where those who have broken the law are rewarded with amnesty if they manage to satisfy a few meaningless conditions. If Hillary is elected President, mark my words: there will be a flood of illegal aliens crossing the border in numbers we’ve never before seen. If you think twenty million illegal aliens is bad, wait until you see what sixty million does to our country.

This would be just about the worst thing that could happen. Can you just imagine the flood of people into the US for a chance at this? Also, it won’t just be hispanics, it could lead to a mass migration of people who want to do us harm as well.
And what does the GREAT REPUBLICAN LEADER “W”
advocate? How does he differ from Hillary on this
issue? Por favor.
I think it is time to do it . Gracias.
we are glad because we have people that love. not just hatred.
we have Amor as well.
“there will be a flood of illegal aliens crossing the border in numbers we’ve never before seen”
Let’s give them all Universal Health Care also !
We have people that love here also, many are filled with the love of the illegals going home.
Or are you saying the reason you are here is that Mexico loves you so much ?
There is ALREADY a “path to earned legalization.” Thousands of immigrants are legally pursuing citizenship. Why should we bow down to the ones who refuse to do so?
I worked with a bevy of Asian Indians while in California. They were pursuing citizenship by the legal method. They were often stymied by a lawyer messing up paperwork, only to have to start ALL OVER AGAIN. I’m amazed that they did so in the face of millions who persist on staying here illegally. But I guess that says something about the difference in character between those two cultures.
Has to do with having money.
Hey, 800 lb ape:
You should just call yourself, “Fathead.”
I really don’t care what any religious leader would do in this situation. You, and they, can keep your religion out of the politics of running this country and county. In the meantime, I’ll clothe, feed, and show infinite kindness, mercy, forgiveness, love, and affection to any illegal for free while on they are on the way back to their origin of record. If that seems to you to be un-Christian, un-Islamic, un-Buddhist, or un-baying at the moon, lo siento, mono, but that’s the way it is.
Hillary’s predilection for granting illegals amnesty and citizenship is a product of her cloistered and privileged ivy-league education and perspective on life. Citizenship means nothing to her. It’s like the sap by the name of Adrian Madison said Tuesday during citizens’ time at the BOCS meeting - citizenship is just a piece of paper. The border is just a line on a map. The concept of country means nothing to them. The same can be said of many of the candidates for local office. Evil-Leftists hate this country because they hate themselves for some reason. They blame their perceived shortcomings on this country and want to do everything they can to change the principles on which it was founded. If that means bringing in millions of illegals to destroy the Rule of Law, so be it. Whatever it takes.
Recently (in the past decade), there have been changes to Federal Immigration Policy which DO NOT allow the same opportunities for legalization that once existed. Additionally, the processing times and the handling of these applications are in a state of disarray. To expect a 5-10 year handling time is simply unacceptable. This too has contributed to our current situation.
Because people want what they want when they want it. Sometimes the answer is “no”. Too bad. Use your energy fixing your homeland.

Yup, drink and make babies. All Cassanovas!
anonimo,
The sign in old town Manassas is nothing but hate. I think your idea of love and Amor is a bunch of crap.
Cut off employment for illegals and the problem goes away. If the department of Homeland security could implement its Social Security check program without interference from Liberal federal courts, it would go a long way towards solving the problem. If employers are afraid of hiring them and there are no jobs for them, they go away on their own.
Hillary Rules! I am voting for her. You guys have to go for winning side at least once. All your almost-won battles have been a failure. You are that ignorant that you believe what politiciand tell you(which means that I am sarcastic here and I don’t believe that Hillary will do anything about immigration either).
So, anonymous, WHAT has Hillary done to show that she is qualified to be leader of the free world??? Please name the pieces of legislation that she has sponsored and passed on The Hill. Like Obama bin Laden, another do nothing Senator, she has done NOTHING. Heck, if it wasn’t for a poll she ran, she would not be “representing” New York City (seeing as how the REST of the state was against her in her election).
She has a love affair with abortion, love affair with socialism (Hillary Health Care), and love affair with illegals (supports the “Dream Act”). She really did not do much as a lawyer except appear on the stand to explain how she made $$$ in cattle futures, thus setting the stage for her buddy Martha Stewart.
Compassionate Conservative - unless you are from the Middle East - we fast-track those guys!!!
Big Dog - I support George Bush, our president, almost 100% of the time. I disagree with him 100% when it comes to Amnesty. He could never be more wrong. While Dubya is an honorable man with the best intentions in his heart, not worried about poll numbers, just doing the right thing, it is my belief that he is being offered VERY bad advice.
So there you have it - Mr. Hardcore Conservative (me) agreeing that our President is sadly mistaken on illegal immigration.
That is why we need to ride our members of Congress, our BOCS, etc. on illegal immigration and get them to vote the RIGHT way. There is NOTHING compassionate about letting illegal immigration go on.
