Mexico To Lecture Prince William On Effective Government

By Greg L | 26 October 2007 | Prince William County | 71 Comments

I’ve gotten word that a Delegation from the Mexican Embassy will be coming to Prince William County to inspect the local conditions within which illegal aliens are residing with the intent to publish some sort of human rights report in the future.  I’m pretty sure Prince William County will be less than wildly receptive to the notion of the Mexican government telling Prince William County what public policies it should enact.

We’ve already got foreign consulates and embassies aiding and abetting the unlawful presence of their nationals within Prince William County by providing them with fraudulent identity documents.  Mexican political parties actually hold conventions in the United States and campaign for votes among their expatriates residing here, and the Mexican government actually provides representation for expatriates in their National Assembly.  This just smacks of one more incremental step towards extending Mexican sovereignty over large portions of the United States, encouraging American citizens to feel ever more threatened and outraged that the federal government doesn’t put it’s foot down and at least kick these saboteurs out of the country.
I wonder how receptive the Mexican government might be to having international inspectors visit their country to document how endemic corruption in Mexico is preventing their economy from rising out of the swamp of the third world, and causing at least one-tenth of their population to migrate to the United States.

Tomorrow’s Washington Post should have details.

Sure hope Frank Principi will be there. I hear he is suddenly “tough on immigration” I also learned from his first mail piece that the county is going to start deporting people.

Hmmm. I didn’t realize counties had that authority!!

Prince William ought to be lecturing Mexico on effective government. After all, I don’t see thousands of Prince William County residents leaving for Mexico.

Maybe the Mexican government can be helpful by identifying its citizens to the PWC authorities?

We should protest this, hard and with teeth. Signs and placards that say “Clean Up Your Own Mess” and “Take Your Illegals Home With You” and perhaps something like “Invade Mexico - They’re Invading Us - Let’s Go Take the Oil and Spread Democracy”.

Oh, great another group of foreign nationals ready to descend on us. They better not come down my street. I’ll let my dog chase them out.

I hope Corey gives them the boot!

They should not be allowed in PWC unless they bring buses and take the illegal aliens back to Mexico.

We have to do away with this dual-citizenship BS!

    http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9C02EED91330F933A05751C1A960958260&sec=&spon=&pagewanted=print

Mexicans have among the lowest rates of naturalization in the United States. Dual nationality could change that for Mexican immigrants like Ofelia Mora, who moved from Chinantla, Mexico, to Borough Park, Brooklyn, in 1971 but has yet to become a United States citizen.

”That’s wonderful,” she said. ”I’m not a citizen yet. I would like to get it, but I would like to keep my nationality, too.”

Mrs. Mora’s ties to Mexico are firm. She has sent her children back to Chinantla every summer. And during one of those trips a few years ago, her daughter, Nancy, now 23, competed in and won the Chinantla beauty pageant. But for the first time, prompted by the Federal law that will cut off Social Security benefits to legal immigrants like her, Mrs. Mora, 38, is considering United States citizenship.

She hopes that dual nationality will make it easier to buy property back home and allow her to vote and help shape Mexico’s political destiny.

”We need some change,” she said of the Mexican Government. ”If we have another party, maybe it will be better. We’ve never tried it before.”

American political parties hold conventions overseas and campaign for votes among the expats; not to make the citizens of those contries feel threatened or outraged but to aid and inform the expats about elections at home and assist them with regard to sending their votes through proper channels so as to be counted.

America has one embassy in each country’s capital but may have several consulates sprinkled throughout the country, usually in business centers. One of the main duties of embassies and consulates is to assist their citizens. America does it, and there’s nothing strange about Mexico or Central American countries wanting to look into the way their citizens are being treated. That’s their duty.

When Americans are mistreated in Mexico, the consulate, I’m sure, sends out people to find out about it and act in any way possible to assist.

“saboteurs”; “incremental steps to extending Mexican sovreignty over large portions of the United States”. What on earth are you talking about?

All this is called DIPLOMACY, and it is what makes it possible for the world’s countries to “get along”. It’s something not seen in this blog, however.

Does anyone think that this is a distraction from the Dream Act, to the borders not being secured, to NY handing out driver licenses, Hazleton, etc.? The real question that we all need to ask our Federal Government is why have they not done anything. The longer it takes for them not to day anything, the more it increases the hostile environment between people.

  22. AWCheney said on 26 Oct 2007 at 6:10 pm: Flag comment

The Mexican government’s attitude and behavior toward the United States has absolutely nothing to do with diplomacy. It is, in fact, the kind of behavior that has often led to armed conflict between nations. All of your assumptions, Krutis, are patently absurd:

“American political parties hold conventions overseas and campaign for votes among the expats; not to make the citizens of those countries feel threatened or outraged but to aid and inform the expats about elections at home and assist them with regard to sending their votes through proper channels so as to be counted.”
The difference is those “expats” are in those other countries LEGALLY. There are few, if any, other nations in the world as tolerant of foreign nationals violating their borders as the US appears to be…and that most certainly includes Mexico.

“America has one embassy in each country’s capital but may have several consulates sprinkled throughout the country, usually in business centers. One of the main duties of embassies and consulates is to assist their citizens.”
That’s correct…except that assistance provided by OUR embassies does not include facilitating the corruption of the laws of other nations! That would actually be grounds for the expulsion of our diplomatic personal and nationals by other countries.

“All this is called DIPLOMACY, and it is what makes it possible for the world’s countries to “get along”. ”
As I stated before, this has NOTHING to do with diplomacy…it actually has more to do with subversion, and is definitely frowned upon in diplomatic circles. The Mexican government fears the loss of those billions of dollars sent home by their illegal citizens who have invaded our country at the encouragement of their own government…which would be, as I said, legitimate grounds for diplomatic sanctions by any other government. We, however, choose to behave like the small, wimpy kid on the block who’s afraid he’s going to get beat up by the big bully. I wonder just how many former Presidents are spinning in their grave.

    Krustis,

Mexico has increasingly taken a hand in trying to shape our immigration policy. That goes beyond looking for the well being of their Citizens. The United States does not engage in local politics like that in a foreign Country. If Mexico is so concerned about their Citizens, they would do something for them besides allowing them to leave by the Millions.

  25. AWCheney said on 26 Oct 2007 at 6:29 pm: Flag comment

It would, in fact, be quite appropriate for our County Board of Supervisors to file a complaint with our State Department that the Government of Mexico is behaving improperly in order to intimidate the citizens of Prince William County and that they are attempting to facilitate the subversion of the laws of our county in order to facilitate and affirm their own subversion of the sovereignty of our nation. And, as a matter of fact, I believe inserting something to the effect that “unless they are coming here to remove their own citizens who have violated our borders and are here illegally, they are not welcome” would be VERY appropriate!

You all apparently are not familiar with Mexico’s laws. Foreigners can’t own land in Mexico and for U.S. citizens a drive down the Baja Coast can be scary when the Federalies stop you and you’re short on cash. The Mexican deligation should be looking at the living conditions and education in their
own country. Many(most) live in squlid conditions and the middle class only
live a little better. Their education goes only to the 8th grade, then you start paying. Being a Mexican is only a good thing if you’re wealthy. Mexico has a wealth of fossil fuel, but the wealth isn’t shared by all. While I can sympathize with msf, Guatemalans and those from El Salvador they are here illegally and should have no rights to U.S. until they can come into this country legally. Illegal means you have already broken our laws, now get out or get deported. My neighborhood was a great place until the hispanics came in and put 20-30 persons per house. These are 500K to 600K homes.
I live in MP and the city won’t do anything about the complaints that are voiced and the HOA won’t do anything either. I can’t wait to get out of here!

Personally, I feel that we should demand that our State Department require them to be accompanied by enforcement agents of ICE in all of their non-diplomatic excursions to areas outside of official Washington and their embassies and consulates. Since they have made it clear that they intend to violate diplomatic channels in order to intimidate a locality of another sovereign nation, that would be a very appropriate response. I would think that it would also be in their best interests to have ICE along to confirm their concern is for our LEGAL resident aliens from Mexico (the agents can take names and confirm identities/status for future reference as well), and not illegal aliens who have no right to be here in the first place. This whole thing is beyond reason.

I seriously doubt that our State Department has been brought into this issue by anybody, as yet, Freedom. I suspect that, if they’re put on the spot, those career diplomats whose jobs are not dependent upon a single Administration, will be forced to address the issue. Having Prince William County seen, and treated, as just another province of Mexico would fit right into those treaties…but NOT into appropriate diplomacy of a sovereign nation.

    Population US 27 Oct 2007: 303.2 million

    Mexico area: 1.9 million sq.km
    US area: 9.6 million sq.km

Comparing the difference in population and area maybe the US has too many consulates in Mexico. - I don’t know where you got the number “43″.

If Mexico sends people here ,they should reciprocate. If they refuse ,they should not be allowed to come and tell us what to do. If it is so nice in Mexico why are so many Mexicans living here and more want to come? Follow the money into Mexico’s pockets. Will they [Mexico] pay for education, medical and other services? Is the Human Rights involved in any way? The Mexicans Delegation should be shown pictures of how their people live. Mexico has consulates in most states now . We as citizens have few rights now.

sandy - Wikipedia lists 29 Mexican consulates showing their locations. Considering the 50 states that make up the US, that makes the number 29 slightly over HALF of the states, not most!

Anonymous, there may be a lot more than 42. This one got left off of your list:

    By Rob Moritz
    Arkansas News Bureau
LITTLE ROCK - A grand opening is planned for Arkansas’ new Mexican Consulate this week amid fanfare by supporters pushing economic prospects and protest by an opponent who warns of a surge of illegal immigrants into the state.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there were more than that. One site claimed 45 consular offices in the United States.

Anonymous 10:54 pm - Great work. Thanks! Judging from your list, the distribution of consulates are:

Texas 12; California 9, Arizona 4, N. Carolina 2. Then there is one each in 14 states plus DC. Consequenly, out of the 50 states 18 (eighteen) plus District of Columbia have Mexican consulates. Add Arkansas and you end up with 19! That’s a long way from even half.

As for the youtube 11:14. I looked at it and I dont’ get it. What’s there to wipe????????????

There could be more. I don’t know how up-to-date that list was. They will be opening more as the invasion spreads to other states. Remember what Colderan said: “Any place there is a Mexican, it is Mexico.”

Anonymous 10:39 - I listened again and heard the call for toilet paper. However, I don’t get the connection between me and the TP. As an aside, I’ve never been to Mexico, but have had the bad luck of “meeting up” with the so called Montezuma’s revenge in other places. I guess it was a slap at me in some way. Oh, well. C’est la vie!

Hope you’re enjoying this beautiful day!

While they (the Mexican Embassy delegation) are here they need to inspect the local conditions that legal immigrants and legal citizens are residing in to and include that in the report. Then they need to compare that to how legal immigrants and legal citizens are residing in their own countries, before they publish some biased human rights report. Its a well known fact that any illegal immigrant in any country does not live like legals and does not make as much money as a legal immigrant or legal citizen.
(This difference in income is by choice in the decision to illegally invade) Human living conditions are a result of a personally accountable choice to come here in the first place illegally.
Conclusion: Prevent human rights living condition issues, by preventing illegal immigration, and support legal immigration and legal citizenship as a means to prevent human rights living conditions violations (These violations are self -imposed by choice by illegal immigrants, we are not accountable because we did not bring them here and force them into a poverty human rights condition. If you support illegal immigrant export, the human rights concern will be solved easily.
