Frank Principi: Your Police State Is Waiting

By Greg L | 27 October 2007 | Illegal Aliens, Prince William County | 28 Comments

In one week, on the topic of “illegal immigration,” Woodbridge Supervisor Candidate Frank Principi has been all over the map. On Monday, the Potomac News reported that Frank wanted to wait on the U.S. Congress to solve Woodbridge’s illegal immigration problems “let’s do it through the legislative process,” and that Woodbridge Supervisor candidate Chris Royse’s plan to strengthen the BOCS immigration resolution would “create a police state.”On Thursday, however, he sent out a mailer claiming he, as Woodbridge Supervisor, would “deport illegal immigrants…”. Principi is pandering to voters based upon what was said to him on any given day at a “smooth jazz” concert, during a boat ride, or one of the many breakfast buffets he obviously attends, and is not being coherent at all on what his policies on dealing with Woodbridge’s growing illegal immigration problems will be. This is tremendously dangerous.

Why is it dangerous? Because it clearly shows that Candidate Principi does not understand the issues of the world, nation, state and community in which he resides. Which brings us to the uncomfortable discussion of little Elian Gonzalez. As you’ll recall, Elian Gonzalez was the lone survivor of an attempt to flee Fidel Castro’s Communist regime with his Mother. They were following through on a long/still standing United State’s policy that allows for Cubans (yep, that’s right, “Hispanics”), escaping the oppressive, torturous regime of Castro, to be granted citizenship (i.e. a dangerous, but legal immigration policy) upon landing in the United States. The story ends with Elian being snatched from the home of his relatives in Florida by federal agents upon the orders of Attorney General Janet Reno.

Why did it come down to federal agents snatching Elian out of the hands of his loving, U.S. citizen relatives under the cover of darkness? Because, like Principi, the Clinton administration’s decisions were allowed to be dictated to them by Communists and the United Nations. What did this lead to? Well, a picture is worth a thousand words, but it looks like the Democrat led government set up a “police state” to me.

Welcome to what Principi “likes to call, a new Woodbridge” if he were to be elected as Supervisor on November 6th.

In interviews Principi keeps claiming that the “Republican led” Board of County Supervisors is “poisoning” the community with its approach to curbing the issues dealing with illegal aliens at the local level and creating “divisiveness” in the community. The preceding picture and a drive up or down Route One on any given morning will give any voter in Woodbridge the visual evidence they need to decide which party is actually the party of divisiveness when it comes to dealing with any immigration issue.

Actually, the Democrats are the party of divisiveness in Woodbridge because they continue to ignore the calls of Woodbridge citizens to crack down on illegal aliens, the number one issue in Prince William County as indicated by the Washington Post, by claiming that any citizen that wants to live in a clean, quiet, peaceful, law-abiding neighborhood is a racist. This divisiveness will continue if Principi is elected because his stated policy will be to ignore the problems that illegal aliens bring to Woodbridge, like Frank’s chief endorser Hilda Barg has, while in the meantime giving himself the unlawful authority as a County Supervisor to “deport illegal immigrants…”. You’ll be hard pressed to get me or anyone who reads this blog to argue against the deportation of illegal aliens, but under whose authority will Principi be working? Given the Democrat’s history of pandering to special interests when dealing with legal immigrants, this sets up a very scary situation in Woodbridge, and the entire county for that matter, if Principi were to be elected to the Board of County Supervisors.

In all fairness, the Republicans have failed us on immigration as well, but while Principi panders and remains partisan, Royse has gone before the board in a respectful, bi-partisan manner all summer and simply requested that they unanimously vote for the immigration resolution, something almost every citizen in Woodbridge has asked him to do and his efforts were successful. Based upon citizen requests, Royse created a plan, to be executed in his first 100 days in office, that will strengthen the board’s rule of law resolution by enforcing the laws on the books, protect civil rights in time of natural disaster or national emergency and to stand-up a citizen led committee to embrace immigrants to the United States, Virginia and Woodbridge.

Principi’s mailer and comments in the Potomac News and in interviews should be a warning call to all in Woodbridge who will vote on November 6th. He is obviously not setting his own agenda, he will wait for the Federal government to deal with problems that can be solved at the local level, and if after waiting he doesn’t get any satisfaction, he’ll unlawfully attempt to take matters into his own hands. Talk about a police state!

Though I’ve selected Royse as the pick in the BVBL Voter’s Guide, I’m most certainly not ready to commit that he is some sort of savior of Woodbridge, Prince William County or the Republican party because we’ve only seen him in action as a candidate. Everyone on this site is “from Missouri,” (the “show me” state) and we’ll be watching to see if he is actually going to do what he says. If I lived in Woodbridge, however, I’d be voting for Royse. He obviously understands the complexities of the world in which we live, and his record as a candidate shows he will remember his boss is the citizens of Woodbridge, will follow the law, not take it into his own hands, and will not wait for the federal government to do what local government can to protect the citizens of Woodbridge and Prince William County.

Woodbridge voters, fight back against the police state, vote for Chris Royse for Supervisor on November 6th!

Elian Gonzalez?!! That’s the best you can do?

Good gracious, Greg, you’re losing it. First you disclose a private conversation (which can excuse as stupidity on the part of the person confiding in you about a candidate you’ve lambasted). Then we get the specious claim that Colgan endorses abortion. Now you resort to implying that Principi would call for Elian Gonzalez-like actions in the County.

It would be amusing I’d there weren’t those devoted followers of Greg hanging on your every word. Do you really believe all the tjings you write? You’re really starting to go over the top.

All people have to do to be embraced in our country are:
    1. Embrace the American melting pot (integrate into our culture, do not force your culture on to us OR EXPECT US TO ACCOMODATE YOU).
    2. Speak English (our country has spoken English since its beginning and we do NOT want to change nor do we want to be a bi-lingual nation like Canada - which causes balkanization).
    3. Be 100% loyal to ONLY our U.S. Flag and Country. No exceptions. No dual-loyalty (one cannot serve two countries).
Meet these requirements and you will be embraced. Don’t like them….MOVE!

    ThePatriot,
Elian is doing just fine, indeed. He certainly has a better life than most youngsters in Cuba. He is where he belongs in his country of orgin.
    Addition to the list, please….
    4. Obey OUR laws, we our a nation of laws. Remember it’s about the Rule of Law!

Hmmm….. I think the point is how ridiculous and desperate Principi has become as the election gets closer. He has claimed that the BOCS resolution has “poisoned” our community and that the evil Republican-led Board is dividing our community and then he sends out a mailer announcing that he is “tough on immigration”. He seems to think that Woodbridge residents are so dumb that they haven’t been paying attention to the issues and are just going to vote for him because he is “Hilda’s boy”. His pompous, arrogant pandering right at the end of his campaign is more than ridiculous it is just plain sad!!!

The only people creating divisions are those that go against the criteria I presented above. The criteria I presented above are in alignment with what the true context of “all men are created equal” is all about. Multi-culturalism does nothing other than separate groups of people based on ethnic-centric lines. That certainly is not equality for all.

Obey Our Laws!!! That’s what it all about.

Principi is Barg’s mouth piece that she wants in for the next 4 years. This we can not have,as Woodbridge will not survive as a community.

Barg has worked all her time on the Social Services and etc. then does not help the average citizen when there are violations of overcrowding and junk cars and used cars being worked on and sold in residential neighborhoods.

She likes to talk and says nothing.

For over 10 years a residential area off of Horner Rd. has a house that has at any given time 10 cars being repaired. It was taken to Court probably 10 years ago and it was to cease! What a laugh. It still goes on today.
Now we have a large construction truck there and a large flat bed. The Police says they can’t do anything.

It causes a mess on this narrow, small street and it impacts the neighborhood,as who wants to see this mess????

These are the Liberals at work. We need Chris Royse !!!

Brighter Future - Do you think Royse would be able to move the truck? Of course, if you follow Greg’s advise you wouldn’t worry about the rules of law but do your own thing. You know, like Stewart did. Who owns the large truck? Does your homeowners association have rules about parking trucks in front of homes? Liberals didn’t put the truck there, for pete’s sake. You say the case was taken to court abt 10 years ago and it goes on today. Blame the court, go to court, file a suit, do whatever, but don’t blame Liberals (why is it capitalized BTW?)!

While I don’t totally agree with Greg’s using the Elian’s case as the reason for voting against Principi, I understand what he is attempting to convey. When the powers to be fail to protect us (i.e. State and Federal Government) then real leaders stand up (Stirrup Stewart and Royse) and take action. Particularly in Woodbridge, Royse has been a leader and all of his opponents, including Principi, have been following. Royse has a plan for a long time now. In stark contrast, after months of pressure Principi now mails a flyer that he is tough on illegal immigration. This is pandering at it best and outright misleading at worst. Actions speak a lot louder than words. Principi has had so many differing statements on illegal immigration we need a spreadsheet to keep up with his ever changing positions. I can only give him the benefit of the doubt that he keeps changing his position because Woodbridge keeps telling him that they like Royse’s positions.

Let’s go with the candidate that was out front months ago on protecting Woodbridge from the ill effects of ILLEGAL immigration, Chris Royse and who is not backing down. Not the candidate that came to his position just recently and might change tomorrow depending on who he is talking to.

    Just my Thoughts-

It is clear that you are nothing but a mouthpiece for Republicans rather than the advocate for your community you claim to be. You take quotes out of context, without even showing the piece, which reads that Principi supports deportation for illegal immigrants who commit serious offenses while in the county. You think it is wrong for Principi to maintain a consistent and pragmatic approach to this issue, one that even you agree protects law-biding families? Your biased attack only reveals you to be nothing more than an attack dog for Stewart and his supporters.

I thought the goal of many of those on this blog and part of HSM was to have a police state hunting down illegals and turning them in to be deported. Now I am confused. This is not what you want? Or you want it but you don’t want it to look like that? Or you want it to look like that but you don’t want to know or see?

Please, help me understand your convictions….

peace, we don’t need a totalitarian authority to hand us a manufactured culture, an ideological agenda or “new religion” consisting of “Diversity” and “Multiculturalism” as “Strength” and “Blessing”.

We do not need “rescuing”. We do not need sharia law or burkas. We do not need public stonings or female genital mutilation. We do not need grown men telling us our ten year old daughters are sex objects becouse of what goes down in the barrio. We don’t need our disabled and blind tossed from taxi cabs becouse the drivers deem guide dogs offensive … we do not need to be told that our customs, traditions, religions, must now be practiced in secret becouse someone on the block or in the classroom will be put off.

The multicultists and ethnocrats of this world do not want equality - they want exeptions made, excuses made and amnesties granted. For them, racial/ethnic profiling is the goal just as long as the agenda is accommodation, protectionism, pardons and the general right to act with impunity.

I currently live in an extremely culturaly diverse neighborhood. With the exeption of three other families with whom I share an American heritage, my neighborhood could be mistaken for a huge U.N. delegation. And trust me, nobody is running into the streets at dusk to grasp hands and sing Kumbaya.

Someday I may write it all down … the Sihks freak over Salvadoran backyard chicken slaughter … the Indian laundromat owners son gets the tar kicked out of him by latino gang members, but dad is too scared to call cops becouse his customer base is latino … the little Pakistani girl complains about the vile rap music on the school bus radio … and the angry kids on the bus tag the white kids as the culprits.

The new Holloween habit of dragging the entire family door to door … babies to elders, each with an outstretched bag. And when asked “where are your costumes?” someone from the back yells “we don’t wear costumes for your stupid holiday.” No stupid costumes, No stupid candy. It’s like Kafka meets Fellini meets David Sedaris.

If you know anything about Woodbrige, you would know that alot of Woodbridge and especially off of Horner Rd. there are not any Home Owners Assoc. Never was.

Why do I say Liberals, well Barg is the #1 liberal .The Courts found the homeowner guilty and P.W County was to enforce. Well guesss what/ Barg looks out for all these law breakers, thats why they like her.

Guess who else they like? Panndak. She also backed up what the Board wanted and especially Barg.

Yes, I think we will have a better chance with Royse. And even thos Stewart sometimes puts his foot in his mouth,he is still heads high over his opponent.

He will do what is right for the people and bring this County back where it should be.

Dirty politics, lies, deceit, anything to get Republican’s elected.

All I can say is that the Democrats must be closing in on Prince William because this is the type of rhetoric that comes out of campaigns that are running scared.

Principi’s wife is hispanic and the owner of a company that does business around the world. He is a formidable candidate whether BVBL is willing to admit it or not. Principi has not said one negative word about his opponent.

I don’t here Democrats saying don’t vote for Chris Royse because he was recruited by Corey Stewart who is a friend of Islamic terrorist and has accepted over $20,000 in campaign money from Muslim’s who have publicly stated that they’re cultivating America for Islam.

Thank goodness for another voice of reason. I agree regarding Corey Stewart. It is frightening to watch others call him a “leader”, “fically anything” and a true citizen of PWC. Other than take care of Corey, he has attached himself to this popular movement and routinely claims whatever anyone wants to hear.

He promised Career Firefighters that he would lessen the control of the Volunteeers. Then he found out that there were more PWC residents in the Volunteers than in Career so he promised the Vols something else. PWC needs to be moving toward more 24 hour career but guess what, we can’t afford it.

He promised the Policemen that he would give them more retirement passed by the Legislature last year. Guess what, he can’t afford it.

He promises anything to anybody anytime all the time.

This is the first time since PWC got it’s AAA that we have an unbalanced five year plan.

Can’t afford to meet the county payroll for this entire year.

Can’t afford to pay for the immigration enforcement. When over a million is need and $300k is given what kind of joke is this. There is no more money (see above)

Can’t afford more Firemen or Policemen for next year.

Soon we will be like DC with all kinds of police cars and fireman vehicle stacked up at the fleet office because they have no workers. Not to mention no IT support…..

Hopefully Pandak will get elected then booted out by Nohe, Covington or Stirrup.
