Greg, for the man who made such a big deal about offensive comments about special needs children in relation to photo captions about a year ago, your “short bus” comment is inexplicable. As a parent myself of a special needs child who takes such a bus, I would ask that you remove it. Thank you.

Krutis, you don’t need to take my side on this. I don’t care for your posting at all. The minute you get involved, all reason will be lost and people will fail to see that it is callous - especially since he made such a stink a year ago. A stink I totally supported him in - to see this comment is a slap in the face (and you know exactly who I am, Greg!)

My kid rode the ’short bus’ when he was a little guy. I probably learned the expression from him. There are many other expressions which convey the same meaning but are far, far more offensive. I was not offended, as the parent of an ‘ex-short bus rider.’ However, my background is in one bastions of political correctness, so I am probably not a good judge.

Greg is now a community leader. A comment like this reflects poorly on not only him, but the organizations and candidates he supports.

I am in a generous mood today. I nailed someone else however. PC issue, just not the same one.
All such comments like this one, and using names like “Urinal Messenger”, etc. all remove credibility from Greg and this site. He’s free to use them, but it just makes him look petty.
