I do think it is quite interesting that the Washington Post has run one article saying one of Hugo’s ad launched a negative that had sunk to a new low and another article calling Rex’s campaign the sleaziest of the year.
I’d say that means the race definitely got the competitive juices flowing from both sides of the aisle. The real question is — Which campaign truly crossed the line?
I’d say the party that published an ad accusing a Virginia Delegate of being responsible for Abu Grhab is probably the one that crossed the line.
I think most people with any sort of common sense would agree with you, Chris.
