Chuck Caputo (center) enjoys the prospect of appearing sane following an exchange between Dave Marsden and Jeanette Rishell. Sometimes, it’s enough just to be compared to the “short bus” riders…
I don’t think Supervisor John Jenkins (D-Neabsco) has a whole lot to worry about now that Aracely Panameno has announced her write-in candidacy to oppose him, and as her first act as a candidate for office managed to violate Virginia election laws on her campaign website by failing to disclose who paid for and authorized […]
In one week, on the topic of “illegal immigration,” Woodbridge Supervisor Candidate Frank Principi has been all over the map. On Monday, the Potomac News reported that Frank wanted to wait on the U.S. Congress to solve Woodbridge’s illegal immigration problems “let’s do it through the legislative process,” and that Woodbridge Supervisor candidate Chris […]
Now that George Barker’s comments regarding teaching “alternative lifestyles” to schoolchildren have been pointed out to voters, the Razing Kaine crowd has sprung into action. They’re outraged that someone might have the temerity to point out that mandating that public schools teach the children in their care about the “GLBT lifestyle” with your tax […]
If I’m really part of the “international theocratic fascist underground”, where can I submit reimbursement requests for the .45 caliber hardball I use to maintain my marksmanship proficiency? Wouldn’t that be a reimbursable expense as part of this cabal?
Maybe the following article means that we can start saying that Mexicans Without Borders are complicit in […]
The DC Examiner isn’t mincing a whole lot of words in it’s endorsements for candidates for the Board of County Supervisors in Fairfax County this year, and is pretty much advocating that all the incumbents on the board be thrown out. That sentiment is pretty much spot-on. This really is one of the worst governing […]
Earlier today Prince William County Chairman Corey Stewart learned that a human rights organization set up by the Mexican Congress would come to investigate the conditions of the expatriate community here in the county. There were a couple of options here — one was to whine about it and play victim, and the second […]
I’ve gotten word that a Delegation from the Mexican Embassy will be coming to Prince William County to inspect the local conditions within which illegal aliens are residing with the intent to publish some sort of human rights report in the future. I’m pretty sure Prince William County will be less than wildly receptive to […]
Last year the MJM gave a rather lukewarm endorsement of Jackson Miller for Delegate of the 50th House District. This year, that endorsement became rock-solid given Miller’s hard work to fulfill his campaign promises and Jeanette Rishell’s abominable behavior during the campaign. Will the last person to leave the Jeanette Rishell campaign please remember […]
This is part of a campaign mailer sent out by Chuck Colgan today (click here to see the whole thing) that again complains about Bob Fitzsimmond’s positions, based not on what work he has done in the past, but for what Senator Ken Cuccinelli did after Bob Fitzsimmonds stopped working for him. What’s worse […]
William Day recently sent out a mail piece that misrepresented a column that Delegate Scott Lingamfelter had written for a local newspaper on the subject of abusive driver fees as a letter to constituents. In doing so, he put Delegate Lingamfelter’s signature on this letter, and managed to run afoul of the following provision […]
Early Monday morning a ten year old girl was raped in her home on the 7500 block of Allegheny Drive by what was described as a Hispanic male. Neighbors in this area of Prince William County that is just to the west of Manassas Park are very concerned, and are awaiting the release of […]
Marvin Alexis Rodriguez-Barrera (aka “Abnormal”) was found guilty moments ago of first degree murder and criminal gang participation in the death of Charles “CJ” Angelos last November. Rodriguez-Barrera is an illegal alien and member of MS-13 from Guatemala who ran down and stabbed Angelos in the back four times. Angelos bled to death […]
Via NLS, there’s an item on Roll Call that says that Tom Davis may retire from the House of Representatives in 2008:
Veteran Rep. Tom Davis (R-Va.), who has been seen as a leading candidate to replace retiring Sen. John Warner (R) in 2008, may now be just a day away from announcing his own retirement […]
So far there’s no indication that Senator Colgan intends to re-introduce legislation that will permit mental health staff to inflict corporal punishment using straps and paddles on retarded children.
This comment, which I don’t necessarily endorse, reminds me of those that nominated Rush Limbaugh for the Nobel Peace Prize:
Last year Jeanette Rishell’s campaign manager was Matt Harrison, a pretty sharp guy who I had an opportunity to speak with in February of this year after he resigned from the PWCDC. He spent some time giving me an insider’s perspective about Jeanette Rishell, and given what we’ve seen from her campaign this year, what […]
I got an email invitation to attend a gala for something called “CentroNía“, and I don’t think I’ll be attending. It’s usually not a good idea to invite me to a gala in which the National Council of La Raza is a sponsor. Instead, it’s probably better to publicize those corporate entities that willingly associate […]
On a 52 to 44 vote, the DREAM Act failed on a Senate cloture vote today. Senator Jim Webb voted in favor of bringing this proposal to grant about two million illegal aliens amnesty to the floor for a debate.
So begins the wailing and gnashing of teeth from local sanctuary jurisdictions for illegal aliens that they’re suddenly getting an influx of “undocumented immigrants” leaving Prince William and Loudoun Counties. Montgomery County Executive Ike Legget is apparently not too thrilled that Montgomery County is effectively being voted “most friendly local jurisdiction for illegal aliens” by […]
