Karen Schultz is the opponent of Jill Holtzman-Vogel, and apparently dumped a lot of cash for a professional candidate makeover to turn this “openly lesbian 33-year-old” into someone who won the Democratic nomination. These “candidate makeovers” are seem to be pretty successful, unless the consulting agency happens to trumpet their work in their marketing materials and on their website. Oops.

Let’s see here, the 27th Senate District is Frederick, Clarke, parts of Loudoun and Fauquier Counties, and the City of Winchester. You’ve got an “openly lesbian 33-year-old” Democrat who is trying to hide who she really is, running against a Republican who is a respected attorney. Can we call this one early? Jill Holtzman-Vogel is going to crush in the 27th District, and by the reaction of the RK crowd, I think the Democrats know it.

CORRECTION: Karen Schultz is not the 33-year-old “open lesbian” cited in the mailer, but she did spend nearly $60,000 on a candidate makeover by the same firm that cited these to “success stories”.  One wonders what extensive candidate makeover she required that cost such a huge chunk of money, though.

Karen’s first conversation with “NextGen”: “Hi, I’m a liberal running in a district that’s totally conservative, and I’m up against a perfect candidate for this district, can you make me into someone the people of this district will actually vote for???”

NextGen: “Sure, not like we haven’t fooled voters in numerous elections in the past – what story would you like us to spin for you???”

    I don’t think she got $60,000 worth.

Yeah. Gotta love the way the far Left moonbatosphere tried to sell this mailer as “anti-gay.”

OK, this is the part that is really shocking - the Schultz folks pasted a picture of the Vogel children on a gay website. Look at the bottom of this page: http://www.queerty.com/

I was wondering about the “33 year-old” part, because I have seen Schultz in-person, and no way in hell she’s 33. The lesbian part, though, I would believe. Shame, she’s neither 33 or lesbian.

Wow, that’s one hell of a correction. Might it not have been a good idea to have checked out the information beforehand?

I went and found the the picture and read the short article. There is nothing bitter said in the article. What is does point out is the obvious.

He makes a lot of money…..$510K lobbying for Viacom who produces and airs pro-gay shows. She is a conservative, anti-gay, pro-family candidate running for office.

What proof do you have that Schultz’s people actually posted the picture? Who and what is your source? Do not toss around a rumor unless you have substantial proof to back it up. Lies are not truths.

This picture is also up on her website and on her campaign mailers….anyone could have posted the picture.

This article only points out the obvious……Virginian senatorial candidate Jill Holtzman Vogel and husband Alex Vogel prove the old adage: politics makes for strange bedfellows.

So get off your conservative high horse and stop judging people.
