There you go again, Colgan is living those family values that are so important to you hypocritic right wing nuts…what’s wrong with Colgan’s family getting out there to support their father/grandfather. God forbid a Democrat have strong family values.

I don’t think too many people were put off by Dominguez’ last name. After researching both candidates, I believed that either man would be a good sheriff. I chose Hill because there was no guess work involved. He had one term under his belt, and did a much better job than his predecessor. Most people I know were happy with Hill and saw no need to change. It it ain’t broke…

Actually there is some truth to what Dominguez is saying. I am related to someone who did not vote for him because of his last name. They assumed he was an activist with an agenda. Granted, that person should have been more familiar with the candidates, but…alas, they weren’t.

Emphasis on some….I do not think that was the only reason. Many people like Sheriff Hill. Personally, it wasn’t a race I was greatly interested in.

Based on median household income, average educational achievement, ethnic distribution and a whole host of other socio-economic factors, Manassas looks demographically much more like down-state Virginia than the rest of Northern Virginia.

Manassas is the hole in the Northern Virginia donut demographically.

Given how built out Manassas is, and, sadly, its poor reputation nationally and internationally, its demographics are not likely to change materially anytime soon.

The Rublican Party should continue to do just fine in Manassas, where “God, guns and gays” still plays pretty well.

I voted for Glen Hill and will again…plus I’m proud to have done so! :0)

Based on his margin of victory, it’s obvious others felt this way too.

Glen HIll is what we need and will do his part to stop all illegals so why printed that is a suprise. If you don’t like the man then say it but don’t make up lies!!!!

Angry Black Man, there’s not ever going to be cooperation with
ICE from Hill, so get over it. Hill has stated over and over again that he wants NOTHING to do with law enforcement!
He’s satisfied just to show up at his office a couple of times a
week (during the winter months when the golf games slow
down).
He must be pretty sad, however, for the fact that McQuigg will
be the Clerk of Court (and not Lucy).

The fight to rid the area of ALL illegals became a priority and many democrats voted for Stewart because of this. Also, great to see Glen Hill win over Dominguez and “name” had nothing to do with it and Duminguez stated.

Can we now speed up our corporation with ICE.

Let’s hope we’ve seen the last of Fitzsimmonds and his ilk who stand for nothing but control and exclusion from the party that they are bent on destroying. I was happy to see Kopko and Co. brilliantly lead their handpicked candidates to defeat, but I’m fired up that their antic took out Jay O’Brien.
