2) I had read in one of the local papers that there is a new citizens group in the Vienna Woods area, started because of day laborers hanging out in the parking lot on Park and Cedar. The day laborers showed up in larger numbers and a couple violent crimes happened. Neighbors have to deal with overcrowded houses and more trash and all that stuff. I imagine soon some in Vienna will be arguing whether they need a day labor center and the Herndon type battle will start again.

3) The Post had a story about how Arlington is welcoming to immigrants. I admit, if I were an illegal, I’d head straight to Arlington. No questions asked for services, happily funded by rich liberals who never met a tax they didn’t want to pay. The implication of the article was that Arlington is wecloming to illegal immigrants, although they focused on how Arlington has many first and second generation children of immigrants mixed in. I’m second generation and I don’t consider myself anything but 100% American. “Immigrant” is not in my direct experience, except vicariously through some of my relatives.

When I spent a tour in Nicaragua, the locals gave everyone an “ANIMAL” name. The Ambassador was call el RANA (the frog.) It was not used in a loving way.

That guy in the video has said it all. What more can anyone say about illegal immigration. His couple of minutes before a city council and the speech he made is indicative of what the entire country is feeling. GOOD ON HIM!
