Remember the Kelly case? Pretty easy to pick on someone when they are down, as was the case with Mr. Kelly. Ebert showed himself to be a true pompous ass.

Remember the Bobbit case? He couldn’t convict either one…every district attorney in the country was laughing at us. When it comes to public corruption of any kind, Paul Ebert won’t touch it. One has to wonder if he’s afraid it will come back to bite him in the butt. In terms of “protecting the citizenry,” he is VERY selective.

Our police are pathetic.

And once you move beyond the D.C. sniper case, he and his office have botched way more cases of import to the citizens of PWC who have sought justice through him.

Not too many Republican lawyers are interested in suicide missions.

Plus, outside of the blogosphere, few people have complaints about Paul. He has a strong office, great relations with the police, and a solid record of success on capital cases.
