Thank God the meeting will not be held in a gun free zone!
You just don’t like guns, do you Krusty?
Good evening all,
check this link out, another assault.

wonder if this is related to that one a couple months ago that they never found the perpetrator???
Josh
Josh,
Are those streets in Manassas, the Park, or the County?
Josh,
Thanks for the link. There seem to be so many stories like this, and they all seem to run together.
Dolph,
Glenolden is located in STONEBRIDGE townhouses next to Yorkishire Elem. That’s just great. (sarcasm)
This is in the county however just 2blocks up Old Centreville Rd and then it’s the Manassas Park city limits.
One way to know for sure it’s in the Park is if it’s a 3-digit address (312, 201, etc)
In fact as I recall on Old Centreville Rd one side is county and the other side is the park and the side that’s in the park has 3-digit addresses and the side in the county has 4-digit addresses (8709, etc).
MP Resident,
You are exactly right about the digits of the addresses, and Old Centreville Rd one side being county and the other the Park. If you are travelling down Rugby(on the western side of Old Centreville Rd). You are in the county, and the backyards on your left are Manassas Park. I live in WestGate, and I just don’t think all realize that it’s just a ten minute walk to either city from here.
I hope you come to the HSM meeting tomorrow night, and bring a couple of neighbors too.

GOOD LOOKING GUY, HUH? Just came here to work and take care of his family.
Lafayette,
Thanks. I wasn’t quite sure where that street was. Now I know exactly where it is…over there in ‘no man’s land.’ I never bother with street names, as you know.
As far as I know guns have nothing to do with Help Save Manassas, it’s just that some people in general carry guns for protection and since the meeting is going to be held in a county building that is not a school, those people won’t have to find a creative way to stow away the gun(s) while attending the meeting.
The “good looking” guy was arrested for being DRUNK IN PUBLIC, on 8/0/07. Fines and court costs were pre-paid.
Does anyone know if this meeting is open to the general public. I am thinking hard about joining, but have not yet?
Sure, all meetings are open to the public.
Here are some groups who are fighting the fight. Perhaps you could get help from the these groups who are well organized and have large citizen participation.

Californians for Population Stabilization (CAPS)”
Alert! Border Fence Funding Cut in Spending Bill! California for legal immigration groups. They are well organized and could probably link with you or some thing to assist your community efforts. Well worth your time to look at their website.
Steve Elliott, President
Grassfire.org Alliance
Again, Rep. King says this provision “guts the Secure Fence Act
almost entirely.”
If we all link up it would show our elected that we want our laws enforced and our money that was set aside for the border fences to be used for border fences.
All three links have a link to click on that will send your Congress people, House of Representatives, and other important people a letter that is basic and well put together. Just add your name to it…allows so many people to get envolved and tell Washington that we are serious.
