The Republican Party is now nothing but a faint memory!!!!!

With 4/5 dictators it slowly is dissolving. Kopko and friends has this resting squarely on their shoulders.

I guesss it needs to go down to nothing and then maybe............. it can start a new. With the right leaders.`

I dislike loyalty oaths to any political party. And I agree with Nancy's observations.

I don't think it's about any particular candidate at all. I think it's just an effort to have uniform application of a long-standing rule. Of course, I am no more privy to RPV deliberations on this point than anyone else here.

Is it about Ron Paul?

Don't call me a tin foil hat head. I am just asking if that is part of it. From where I am sitting, it sort of does.

This is NOT a Republican idea...the Dems have it too, funny thing is, their rank-and-file is against it just as much as we R's are. So, if the rank-and-file is against something but the party leadership is for it and still tries to shove it down our throats, what does that REALLY tell you???

Remember this next time a politician, or a party leader, sends you a form letter asking for more of your hard earned money.

It is hard enough to get the Republicans out to vote, especially for a primary. Nothing will prevent Democrats, Independents, etc. from voting in a Republican primary. There is no way to track it. No wonder the GOP in VA is in trouble with ideas like this. Keep this up and the Republican party will be nothing more then a faint memory.
The way the primary was conducted in southern Illinois, you went to the primary and you had to declaire yourself a Democrat or a Republican. You then were given the appropriate ballot to vote. Never was a problem.
