Another Guilty Illegal Alien

By Greg L | 3 December 2007 | Illegal Aliens, Crime | 27 Comments

Admitted MS-13 member and illegal alien Michael Ayala plead guilty to manslaughter and criminal gang participation in the death of C.J. Angelos today, and as part of the plea agreement will likely serve ten years for manslaughter and a ten years probation for criminal gang participation. A maximum of ten years in prison, for participating in a gang murder. Sheesh.

Effective message to the 1,000 gang members (according to the prosecutor) in Prince William County: as long as you’re not the lead gang murderer, you can plea out a significantly reduced sentence. Fellow defendant Salvador Mauricio Elias-Miranda was released on an “Alford Plea” after an earlier trial, but at least has been deported. Yeah, this is the way we are effectively combating MS-13 in Prince William County.

No wonder we have so many gang-bangers in the area.

The MJM has more.

This just sicken’s me. Wanda- please hang in there! Our hearts and prayers are with you!

This punk was a MAJOR contributor in the death of C.J. Angelos. I am completely disheartened at this plea agreement. Now Wanda has to sit through the actual sentencing of this ADMITTED MS-13 gang banger! Hope the judge will give him more than what the prosecutor has asked for. (I won’t hold my breath)

What else should we expect. Our CA’s office is always going to take the path of least resistance because they’re far more interested in protecting their conviction record than they are the public. Look at the Rack N’ Roll situation. Dave Ruttenberg goes there to beg for justice and is told that if he ever shows his face there again he’ll be arrested.

I am sorry to hear this. I pray for you for comfort and strength.

    Legal2,

Good question and AWCheney, good point. I haven’t looked at it that way before.

ARE THEY GOING TO DEPORT THIS SCUMBAG AFTER HE COMPLETES HIS 10 YEARS PROBATION? Maybe the government will offer him citizenship after his sentence is completed.

For anyone who does not know:

This admitted MS-13 member / participant is the one who chased, caught and tackeled CJ, and the first to stab CJ. He brutally beat CJ and is directly for the cold blooded murder of CJ.
He turned over on, and testified against, the one called “Abnormal” who was convicted last.
This person should have been sentenced to death, or at least rot in jail for the rest of his natural life!
If you could listen to this individual talk about his own activities, and how he so casually speaks of the attack, the idea of him being ever allowed back into society would cause you to be afraid.

I have not spoken out against Mr Ebert previously but this time I must say this is a disasterous mistake.

Maybe the CA cut a deal with him to preserve the good relationship he has with the Hispanic community. Kinda like the same reason Chief Deane gave for his opposition to the Rule of Law Resolution.

I really don’t know much about politics, but what I know Beth Millette spent the past year of her life working her butt off to put the SOB’s behind bars that killed my baby CJ. Please don’t condemn her!
No amount of time they get will console us.
My son was hurt real bad and killed by gang members that are ruthless and have no regard for human life.
I want them all to meet “Big Budda” and suffer every day the rest of their lives. I hope they feel the pain and lonlieness my son felt when they took his life away from him and us…
and sorry but their mom’s can then feel my pain too …
Not a minuet goes by that my son is not attached to my heart and mind. I miss my baby!
Unfortunatley, our justice system dosen’t always
meet our expectations… but I hope that you all
will believe that I am not upset with Beth or Paul.
I am upset with it all—especially our govt!
Thank you for remembering CJ and our family!

I thought that gang participation added to a sentence upon conviction? Ten years for involuntary manslaughter is a travesty. Where is the additional time for gang participation? Maybe that was plea bargained away too!

It was VOLUNTARY MANSLAUGHTER that he plead to…and he did get 10 years for the gang participation — reduced to 10 years supervised probation after his release from the Pen….
Yes, I agree 10 years is a slap in the face, but I
am thankful for the convictions. I know some mothers who lost their kids and never got a conviction.

There was another arrest last week in this case!

Thank you Det. Moore and Beth Millette for all the hard work! I do hope the judge adds more time on sentencing day!!!

Hopefully he won’t ever get out…with behaviors like these scum display I believe he’ll get his!

If there was another recent arrest, possibly it was due to information provided as a result of the plea bargain. As a prosecutor in the Army I was in many situations where I had to agree to reduced sentences in return for the defendant flipping.

At any rate, Wanda, our prayers are with you.

Unfortunately Mama, sociopathic gang members actually have an easier time in prison. Many of their fellow members are already there, and they simply assume their usual place in the hierarchy…unless the members are particularly impressed by the crime. In that case, they get a promotion.

  21. AWCheney said on 4 Dec 2007 at 10:28 am:

Sorry, but I am simply not impressed with the CA office’s handling of this. I’m familiar with a case in Fairfax where a young wannabe gang member Caucasian boy (teen) was present when a bunch of his “friends” were involved in a melee with some rival gang members. A gang member was killed and everybody pointed the finger at this boy as the killer. There was evidence to the contrary, but it was more convenient to accept the testimony of known gang bangers out of hand than to accept anything that would interfere with an easy resolution. That boy is now in prison for life.

Now, the point of this story is that the prosecutors took the easy way rather than trying to find the truth. It was easier to believe in liars rather than facts. In the case of CJ’s murderer, it was easier to give him a relative slap on the wrist rather than what he really deserved. Whatever reasons they’re offering (CI) are simply an attempt to justify taking the “path of least resistance.”

Point of clarification: That gang the white boy liked to pretend he was a part of was actually an Hispanic gang (don’t know which one)…so you can understand why he became the goat. I’m sure the prosecutors were well aware of that as well.

I don’t understand the judicial system. I don’t understand why some people get life and some don’t….they say there are guidelines…

I am so upset about the violent death of my only son, a young man that NEVER got into a fight in his life., a passive young man.

I don’t have the emotional reserve to go through this —- I can’t change the outcome — else I would!

Sentence hearing will be held in (I believe) March.
I suggest that all concerned citizens write letters and a petition to the CA and Judge asking for a more relative judgement against this perp. Perhaps we can solicit this at the January or February HSM meeting.

Ten years (at least) in addition is what I would expect anyone who used a weapon in the commission of a crime to get; I do not think ten years is even close to what this guy should be getting.

He personally gave CJ a death sentence!

    Greg L -

Would you follow up on the woman who was arrested for abusing her children and also an illegal. If she is not deported, it would be an interesting case study to analyze and follow up on -

    Thanks,
