NLS Gets Drunk, Endorses Feder

By Greg L | 6 December 2007 | Humor & Satire, US Congress | 18 Comments

NLS is apparently still hung-over from his celebration of the demise of the FCDC, and in a bout of temporary insanity has said that Judy Feder actually has a chance against Frank Wolf, and gives her his endorsement.  During today’s 3PM “live blog” with Feder, perhaps folks can figure out how to help Ben recover, and assist Judy in finding her missing tiger suit.

These folks do need our help.  Badly.

Actually, if you read what Ben wrote, he says he’s endorsing Feder in the Democratic Primary for the 10th CD because of all the candidates, she is the one with *any* name recognition (which would be crucial to beat an incumbent). He goes on to say basically that if all of the planets are in alignment and the sun is at just the right angle, Feder could actually pull off a win, something even less likely for anyone else in the 10th CD Democratic field, thus making her the his logical choice to endorse for the primary (since any other candidate would be even more of a sacrificial lamb for Wolf).

Whose the guy in the middle???

Turn PW - name recognition is NOT always a good thing. Ask Faisal Gill.

Wolf deserves to lose. He has been utterly worthless combating the effects of illegal aliens in our communities. This woman however, is not the person to deliver him his much deserved loss.

    JL:

Never said I agreed with Ben’s analysis. Just pointing out that (once again) Greg put an interesting spin on the story. Read some of the comments on NLS. You’re absolutely right–name recognition doesn’t always work in your favor.

For some reason the DPVA thinks it can win elections using retreads. How many times do Rishell and Roemelt have to lose? How many times will Feder be thrown to the wolves (or Wolf, as the case may be)?

I went to a DPVA event last January where they trotted out Feder as this great Democratic hope who put up the good fight and would keep on swinging. Well, she lost in a year where everything was in her favor–backlash against incumbents, Webb drawing in Democratic voters, money flowing into her race. If she couldn’t win under those circumstances, you’re absolutely right that name recognition isn’t worth much (and may actually be a liability).

Oh, and I think the guy in the middle might be Woody Allen (http://tinyurl.com/yvcexr)

She has no chance. I managed to get in the first comment at NLS bashing her, then of course was taken to task by the NLS libs.

Park’d, he may be a little late, but Wolf has signed on as a cosponsor of the SAVE Act. I think you’ll see him taking a harder stance on the illegal immigration issue. You’ll never see that from Feder.

I admit I stared at the photo for some time, trying to figure out who the Woodyesque man wearing the Judy Feder name tag could possibly be! (wink)

    NLS still exists?

I’m just waiting on the photos of him being escorted by Sheriff’s Deputies out of the 1st Dist. GOP convention to surface.

You’ve got to wonder who Ben’s supplier is. He must be getting the good stuff!

The only serious competition for Wolf would be from the Republican party. Of course, with the way things are now, that person would have to run as an independent. If that happens, unless this person gets support from the Republican party, Feder could win. Don’t you hate politics. I do.

I wonder if Feder is still going to run on the embryonic stem cell issue.

Judy Feder makes Jeannette Rishell, Bruce Roemelt, and Bill Day look conservative. This socialist candidate out of the 10th could end up hurting Mark Warner. Now that would be funny!
