It’s official folks…Potomac News just outed the guy as an illegal alien from Mexico!

guess the suspicions of many (including myself) were correct. I also heard that this place was a boarding house confirming the statement of one made previously by another poster.

Living packed in like this with multiple families can happen in any neighborhood because it is a result of pooling resources. It is cheaper to pool resources than for each of these family units to rent an apartment.

So why is this a problem? It trashes up your neighborhood, just to be blunt. Along with multiple families come ridiculous numbers of cars, work trucks, kids, garbage, and generally people who have a different standard of living than what is acceptable in the neighborhood.

When these types of living situation happen in townhouse communities, the issues become more problematic because of the increased chance of fire, limited parking, increased garbage, rodents and pests, and other problems that become more obvious the denser the population becomes.

Prince William County needs to quickly work on solutions to the housing issues. If this horrible murder doesn’t highlight some of the problems that exist, I don’t know what will. We really have a socio economic culture clash on our hands.

To everyone that reads this site and especially Maureen Wood. I have been able to do some thinking about a previous post on another thread and have come to the conclusion that i was wrong for what I said and would like to apologize to Ms. Wood. However, I want to say that at one time I was in 100% support of everything the HSM organization was about and then I started attending meetings and reading this blog and I really don’t like what I an hearing. And I have to say there are a lot more people that feel the way I do. We have mixed emotions about the way you are carrying out what is a most important mission. As I have always said, I think that every illegal alien should be sent back to the god forsaken country they came from, but not every hispanic citizen is illegal. I also have issues on here when you make statements and did not do the research to find that they are incorrect. It only hurts your cause and makes people like me that could be a help to the group rethink becoming a more active member. There have been people on here calling the hispanic people names like cockroaches and other names that should not be used. That type of actions is not necessary and should be left to someone else who is not representative of this blog and HSM. Because no matter how many times Greg says this site does not represent the feelings of HSM, we all know it does. Again, Maureen I do apologize as it was an inappropriate comment and will never be said again.

Krusty…this was no “stay over” at a house - I was in that house as a firefighter and there were mattresses in the front living room. There were at least five adults that lived there as I recall hearing from the police and one visiting. It was like a lot of the homes I see in Woodbridge anymore, sleeping quarters everywhere in the house.

There were two mattresses on the living room floor several feet from the front door. That makes me wonder why the front door was left unlocked (according to the news reports that is how the suspect got in) unless it was a rooming house.

We were surprised to find all of those people in such a small house. Again, this was no after party stay over, it was a rooming house.

I totally agree (the world must be coming to an end because of that!)

thrown many a part and wound up in some mysterious places myself, fell asleep in a kiddie pool once, outside in god awful weather..almost died of hypothermia that night but, back to the subject

most likely a flophouse but the fact that he had a party could be a reason for all those people but it seems odd, many of them were children not in the immediate family I believe.

as for the national news channels…this was covered on CNN headline news a few times today and it’s been on CNN.com. I have all the news channels scrolling at work 24/7 right about my desk, it’s pretty irritating ..seeing all the bad stuff going on around the world is depressing sometimes.

Also ,I found a Anastacio Sanchez-Miranda to have been charged in PWC on 4-27-03 of malicious wounding case # GC03003080-00 final disposition 7-10-03 nolle prosequi , could this be the same person?
