America is ready for any candidate who has and will serve with integrity, is honest and will lead us back to path of the rightous and the virtuous beacon that we have dimmed over the past 12 years or so. We don't see the whole rest of the world trying to sneak into Venezuela!

I'd like to add to that list...

Who is the most intelligent candidate?
Who is the most fair and equitable candidate?
Who has the most experience in leadership?
Who has the most middle of the road political views?
Who is attacking the other candidates the most and not addressing the fundamental issues directly to the American people?
Who is being defensive of attacks and coming off like a lunatic, rather than directly addressing the American peoples problems?
Who is advocating some lame stratosphere concept like "WE will bring you change (but not effective change) without detailing what changes are needed from the current Bush administration policy, to STOP economic decline, stop the erosion of American wealth and technical capability, STOP illegal immigration and STOP lying to the American public about the existance of gender, ethnic, racial, and religious privilige groups driving corporate interests and public policy to the detriment of every "individual" American citizen?
Who is the least likely to be a political movement raving extremist (far left or far right)
Who has the best political voting record?
Who clearly has the nation’s best interest in mind rather than favoring personal fame, fortune, financial wealth, popularity, ego or personal religious doctrine to drive their motives and political aspirations?
Who is the least likely to be a closet criminal, a teller of false tales, a builder of false perceptions, an advocator of hatred, a thief of the common man in favor of wealthy corporate interests?
Who will truly care the most about you and me, our lives, our health, our children, our planet, our laws, our neighborhood, our sovereignity, our soldiers and our heritage?

So far each of these candidates has tried to mislead and "snow" Americans with privilige "group" advocacy issues they themselves want to associate with, and have attacked personally each of the other candidates on racial, ethnic, gender and religious group issues, rather than directly speaking to the people of this nation regarding the need to return to individual freedom concepts (which do not endorse and support ethnic, gender, racial, religious group privilige concepts and political pandering for these group's votes). The strongest candidate needs to ignore the others and speak directly to the American people and address individual rights of the majority of the people in this country (representing middle of the road views and desires).

Each candidate is afraid of "just" a middle of the road political stance and is seeking fringe group and independent voters to align with their gender, ethnic, racial or religious group affiliation and personal bias.

What we need to guard against and save our Nation from, is electing any of these candidates who will do the following if elected.
1. Put his or her religious doctrine over the well being of others not of that religion. Make laws that would favor only those religious doctrinal beliefs and prohibit or subvert all political actions and activities (including funding) for any person, project or private belief not aligning with those narrow religious privilige views and control.

Some of the candidates are clearly violating this principle.

2. Put his or her gender over the welfare of others not of the same gender, and favor laws and priviliges for only those of their gender, pander to get the majority of votes of their gender, put cabinet members in power of only that gender, rather than ability, skill and talent of “individuals” determining that position of trust.

At least one candidate is violating this principle.

3. Put his or her Ethnic group and racial group in a supreme position to be favored over all others, to associate and pander to only those votes of that ethnic group, and to make statements that indicate people of his or her ethnic group deserve special treatment, position in government, special laws, special holidays and rights based on race and ethnic group labels. One who will create a cabinet dominated by his or her special ethnic or racial group in order to obtain favor and power in the political government for that group only over the welfare of all others not of that group.

At least two candidates are violating this principle

AMERICA is ready for a middle of the road candidate concerned equally for the majority of the people in this country, and not concerned for only the minority gender, religious, ethnic and racial groups dividing the nation into separate entities, party associations and “labels”.

I agree Johnson. She has as much as Obama has. Just because she has been in te White House, doesn't mean she has experience. I have been to the Air and Space museum several times, I can be an astronaut!!! Same thing.

The media will try to decide POTUS for us and will as long as we listen to them. Of course they will continue on their free advertising for Hillary. Obama would be smart to go on a show like the O'Riley factor or Hanity and Combs. That would show he isn't afraid of ALL media. He will be asked tough questions and that in and of itself may be the reason he doesn't go on them. Some time or another, I want to hear the tough questions asked of ALL candidates. I am going to borrow Patriot's list here:

1) What are you going to do about ILLEGAL aliens?
2) What are you going to do about the borders, not border, but borders?
3) What are you going to do about the ILLEGAL aliens already here?
4) What are you going to do about the welfare system?
5) What are you going to do about the war on terrorism?
6) What are you going to do about the war in Iraq?
7) What are you going to do about all of the gov't waste?

These are but a few of the questions I want to see answers to. I am pretty sure most Americans do as well.

Illegal aliens will be a central issue. I'm hoping that Iraq will be, too. Billary will run as many times as it takes until we boot her out of every public office, including dogcatcher, or until she wins. HILLARY CLINTON TRULY BELIEVES THAT SHE DESERVES TO BE POTUS. She is quite psychotic in this belief. I disagree about whether or not we are ready for a (fill in the blank) president. I think we are sick of the Bush/Clinton dynasties and are ready for a candidate who believes in something other than their own desire to be POTUS. Americans want integrity. We respect opposing views. What we want are candidates that have a viewpoint and stick to it, versus talking heads who spout whatever drivel is driven by the polls. Has anyone noticed how the media rates candidates by their "performance" in the various aspects of the campaign?. For gosh sake, this isn't "High School Musical"! We are going to elect the leader of the free world! The Clinton campaign will spout "change" and "leadership" and "experience", none of which she has. Smoke and Mirrors.

How important was it that Hillary got third place in IA??? As I said, people are not ready for a female president at this time. I wonder how much Bill is hurting her. She will undoubtedly pull out the smear campaign now. If she doesn't make it this year, will they put her in front for 2012? I can't believe that Edwards beat her as well.

It is ILLEGAL alien issue that will be decided in the presidential election. If the dems want to be at the table, they better step up their efforts right now. Obama and Hillary calling Lou Dobbs "hot air" best be careful. Many Americans are tired of the ILLEGALS feeding at the trough.

PC has been the smoke and mirrors tactic of the socialist, communist, etc. liberals! They have been getting away with their agendas for too long! They are now being called out into the open by the public that are sick and tired of them causing most of our country's problems!

Vigilant,

I agree. I feel that America is being taken advantage of because of political correctness and our inherent generosity for all people. Once the generosity has been taken advantage of and we realize this, we take up action (resolutions against ILLEGAL aliens) and mark a line in the sand. I think America is tired of taking on all of the ILLEGAL aliens and is making a mark in the sand. The problem, I feel, is that some in America are still on the PC and being generous to all kick and have not had their lives directly affected by it. Let those who have lost loved ones to ILLEGAL aliens criminal activity know we are tired and are willing to stand up for what is right. We do not, as American citizens, get to choose which laws we can obey, so why do those here ILLEGALLY get to?

We have to keep up the pressure on our local and national level politicions to rid this country of the scourge of illegal aliens. We cannot afford to be complacent because if we are, we lose. We should demand of those who aspire to the presidency of this country and our local leaders to state thier position on illegal immigration and what they propose (if anything) to curb it. If they find "no problem" with this country being overrun by 20-30 million illegals, they do not deserve to hold office.

The United States of America started in Virginia. Virginians have always led the way. We are the Mother of Presidents. "To be a Virginian, by birth, marriage, adoption, or on one's Mother's side, is an introduction to any state in the Union, a passport to any foreign country and a benediction from above." We are also "enlightened" enough (apologies to The Hon. Ike Leggett) to differentiate between "illegal alien" and "immigrant". We want the laws of our land to be obeyed and justice to be fair and swift. We are all equal under the law. We have the courage to stand up for what is right. We always will. We will not be "guilted" into silence or have our kind and generous natures used against us by criminals and thieves. Pay close attention to what your representatives say and do on this issue and vote accordingly. Save the Old Dominion!
