Communist-Anarchists Decry Help Save Manassas

By Greg L | 1 March 2008 | Zapatistas, Illegal Aliens, Prince William County | 6 Comments

Have we made the big time, or is Help Save Manassas getting the attention of the North Eastern Federation of Anarchist Communists just an indication that some lonely Che Guevara wannabe with a website managed to wake from his hallucinogenic-induced stupor long enough to stumble across a six month old news clipping?  Or is Mexicans Without Borders, who provided the photos used by the Anarchist Communists in their article just reaching out to their ideological fellow travelers as part of the “Other Campaign” of the Zapatista Army of National Liberation?  At least this is international recognition that Virginia is helping blaze the path that will restore the rule of law in our communities.  Yes folks, we now have the attention of the international communist-anarchist community, and they think we’re bad.  Really bad.

These ramblings have gained a lot of strength as of late, particularly in the counties of Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William of Northern Virginia. Loudoun and Prince William have already passed measures banning social services to anyone who is of illegal status, and Prince William County has enacted 287(g), and required police to perform background checks on anybody of “reasonable suspicion” of being undocumented. It even allowed residents to sue the county for any public department they thought provided services to illegal immigrants. Prince William’s resolution has received much controversy from not only the Hispanic immigrant community, but from the Virginia working class in general, with as much as 10,000 people turning out at a time to contest the resolution, causing many stipulations to be removed, most notably that residents could no longer sue, and that background checks would be limited to crimes, (although even routine traffic stops in Prince William still take 3-4 hours as records are checked).

Yes, they’re somewhat “factually challenged”, which I believe is the politically correct term to use when avowed communists start employing propaganda as a political tool, just as Vladimir Lenin had instructed them.  So much so that this is actually pretty funny.  It’s sort of like listening to Baghdad Bob, only with a Quebecios accent.  I can see it now: “Those five murders by illegal aliens in Prince William County in 2007 were just revolutionaries engaging in the struggle of the proletariat, and since there were only nine murders in that county that year, it really doesn’t amount to much.  Stalin did much better.”

But Mexicans Without Borders needs allies where they can find them.  Being aligned with the Zapatista Army of National Liberation, and identifying with communist and anarchist groups can’t really give you an exactly broad coalition of supporters in Virginia.  You might get a few Socialist Workers Party members to hand out copies of books written by Marx and Che Guevara at a rally in Richmond and promote their candidate for president.  For the most part they’re going to have to depend on little groups of radicals from outside the area, and apparently outside of the United States in order to build up the numbers they need in order to fight for foreign nationals who reside in the country unlawfully and demand their “constitutional right” to be excused from the consequences of their unlawful behavior.

I know.  It’s an anarchist thing, and if you don’t understand, that means that your brains haven’t fallen out of your exceedingly open-minded head.  That can be a good thing.

I can’t wait to see these folks show up at the next mass demonstration by illegal alien supporters in Prince William County, though.  I also can’t wait to see this rhetoric start showing up in the public record, when we’ll have the opportunity to start pointing out the ideological sources for those who are supporting the cause of illegal aliens.

Table of information at Monroe Park from the DC Socialist Workers Campaign. There are other pictures from the rally. You will see several familar faces… Ricky, Nancy and John, owner of the sign in Manassas, and the “kiss my a$$” lady from the marathon BOS meeting 10/19/07.

Say now, what do you suppose the torching of an auto would do to your carbon footprint calculations?

And is that a leather motorcycle jacket he is sporting in the car-B-Q poster?

Time to send Subcommander Marcos off to an Earth First Animal Rights Carbon Offset Boot Camp… where the word “oppressors” will take on a whole new meaning.

Good Lord, just look at that poster. Could it be that Marcos thinks “those that oppress us” are the Earth First, Animal Rights Peta and Carbon Offset Coalition… ?

Take heart, Manassas, your character will be defined by that of your enemies.

Honestly, this sounds like the flip side of HSM being
charged as a front for the KKK or neo-Nazis. Por favor,
in any election in Virginia, how much would
it cost to have the NEFAC endorse the other guys?
    Reject and renounce?
