none at this moment. The proposal is new and by golly, it looks like western county reps are in favor of it or at least are not opposed to it. The powerline organized because affected property owned by wealthy conservatives in the western areas of NOVA, were motiviate to keep it out of their backyards. It doesn't appear anyone will fight for lower-income GOP strongholds elsewhere like PWC, however. Beside most GOP constituents in our neck-of-the woods proudly, and blindly, wear pro-energy badges on their chest with honor, because matters such as CO2, clean air, and global warming are linked to Al Gore and the Democratic party. I certainly realize and appreciate big energy, Dominion and the PJM, but that's not how the game is played. With energy expansion forced on us because of tighter policy in northeastern areas, we are and areas like ours, will continue to get shafted until we join in the opposition and expansion is properly shared by all.

Dems often say the right doesn't own the morality and religion when it comes to politics. They are correct but actions speak louder than words.

The right should make smart energy their issue instead of leaving it to the left. Higher prices because of climate and the environment is here, global warming or not; and only customers of fossil-fuels will pay the price.

Greg, while your at it, ask how the citizens of Manassas feel about tne 873 MW gas-fired power plant, proposed less than 1 mile upwind of them.

Come on Greg, open your mind up. We are getting hosed here. Check out my reply on Citizen Tom's blog at this link http://citizentom.wordpress.com/2008/03/20/a-power-plant-in-prince-william-county/#comment-12923
