Cucinelli was the moderator for the C-100 program last week on Open Government. The Senator lead an interactive and quality discussion with an astute group of panelist. His opening presentation and sharp questions exposed his solid conservative principles. What I found most refreshing about him is his sincere intent to place the needs of the citizens above the priorities of government, which is not always the case with all elected officials.

No to Cuccinelli. He will not help a GOP ticket. He bearly held on to his own seat and had he had a smart Dem running against him, he would have lost. He is also behind the move to defeat and weaken Frank Wolf. Not only no but hell no to Cuccinelli. I am one Republican who will not vote for him again...NO...NO...NO ...not gona do it!!!

This McDonnell-Bolling-Cooch trifecta would be the greatest ticket conservatives have seen in decades. Every geographic area would be covered and all types of Republicans would have something for them.

Greg, I like the supposed "ticket" as you call it, BUT I'm not yet comfortable with this being shoved down my thought, so to say. I would like to see who else we can look at before our vote doesn't count. This seems a bit early to be calling this a "ticket." Has McDonnell called it a "ticket" yet? or is this just some insiders or bloggers doing this "ticket" thing? Did I miss something?

Before we get too excited, we need to remember that we had an incredibly strong Senate candidate last year. It's a long way to next November.

If we can only make sure Brian Moron heads the ticket for the dems we will be assured of a clean sweep with Cooch as the AG.
