Illegal Alien Has No Choice But To Break The Law

By Greg L | 28 March 2008 | Illegal Aliens, Crime, Prince William County | 31 Comments

From the MJM we see that, yeah, these illegal aliens are really law abiding people who are only guilty of a civil violation of our immigration laws:

That was one of the main concerns of Jacoba Casteneda, an illegal immigrant living in Woodbridge, who said he has no driver’s license but has to be able to drive.

Casteneda, who lives with his wife and two U.S.-born children, said he worries he’ll be deported and separated from his family if he’s ever pulled over.

Mr. Casteneda has the option of returning home and cease his flouting of our laws.  He can even take his family with him if he wants.  That should fix his worries.

Now that wasn’t so hard, was it?

On that parallel, the American people should collectively organize for a civil violation of the tax laws.

Gee, I just had to rob the bank. Gee, I just had to murder that person. Gee, I just had to rape that woman. I simply cannot live without breaking the law. What a bunch of BS. Driving without a license is a personal choice, he made it knowing it was breaking the law, he came here illegally by his own personal choice.

I know that robbing banks is a minor infraction, but I must be able to provide for my family and obtain the appropriate set of spinner hubcaps for my car. The MJM will certainly back me on this.

Oh the horror! he’s scared to drive. I hope he’s scared, he better be scared. He would not be scared if he was not here in the first place! This shows everyone the attitude that these people have, how they totally believe that it’s ok to break the laws.

    Mexican Police Chief Seeks Asylum
    By AP/MARK EVANS

(Albuquerque, N.M.) — The police chief of a Mexican border town racked by smuggling-related violence fled to the U.S. seeking asylum after his deputies abandoned him, federal officials said Friday.

Emilio Perez, the chief of Palomas, Mexico, showed up at the international port of entry in Columbus, N.M., late Tuesday, saying his two deputies had left the department and that he now needed protection, too, according to Doug Mosier, a U.S. Border Patrol spokesman in El Paso.

Perez was taken in and was believed to be in custody of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement on Friday, according to Mosier. Letitia Zamarripa, an ICE spokeswoman, declined to comment on the case, citing privacy issues.

“This is a little off the beaten path, I haven’t seen this before,” Mosier said. “(But) with the escalating violence in Palomas, we understand why this individual sought asylum.”

Perez’s village, just south of the border with New Mexico, was once a relatively quiet town. But violence has increased in the last few years, as it has elsewhere along the U.S.-Mexico border, and appears to have spiked of late.

On Thursday, the bodies of two people were found wrapped in blankets and dumped along a road near Palomas, and several other people were seen taken hostage over the past few days by heavily armed men, the newspaper El Diario of Juarez, Mexico, reported Friday.

Last month, two men were gunned down at a gas station near the international checkpoint, officials said.

The telephone went unanswered Friday at the Mexican consulate in El Paso, Texas, and at federal police headquarters in the state of Chihuahua — where Palomas is located.

Palomas has had a spate of drug-related violence as Mexico’s ongoing crackdown on powerful cartels fuels turf wars among traffickers. The area also is a common meeting point for migrants heading north.

Mosier also pointed to another recent crime in which the mayor of Columbus visited a dentist in Palomas — only to have his root canal interrupted by two pistol-toting men came in demanding money. No one was injured.

“They’re getting brazen down there,” Mayor Eddie Espinoza later told the Deming Headlight newspaper. “I didn’t have no fear about going to Palomas, before. Now, I do.”

    A Big “BUT…what if” scenario below….

God help the person who (Heaven Forbid) gets into an accident with him. I’m sure he really wants to have car insurance too, but can’t get it because he has no license…because he is an illegal. I wonder who would wind up paying for that wreck? What if the person with whom he had an accident had no medical insurance? Those bills ruin peoples’ lives - in addition to injuries and time lost ffrom work. But by all means, Jacoba HAS to drive. Everyone else be damned, his dreams come before all else. His medical will be covered by the state, he won’t pay a penny for it. As for his car? He can always get another. And for a job if he misses some work? There’s a 7-11 on every corner. Arlington - specifically Glebe Rd. is like the illegals’ monster.com.

Just another example of how illegals are a burden upon our economy.

Thats all there is to it. Give them your strategies and they are great at going around each circumstance. No license and in a wreck, they will run away and hide.

I can understand that Deane wants to reach out,but this is not going to work.
Why HiMart? This is what they wanted. Their turf.
Why not the McCoart Bldg and announcement in the papers a few days before, for all citizens. Not just a special group.

Weird that most of the Supervisors did not know about the meetings. Did Deane give them a schudule?

Or is it that Gerhardt knew and just so happened he was out of town. Seems he has over stepped his boundry. Maybe we can get risd of both of them?

    Harry,

I agree with Patty — Jacoba was not forced to have those children, any more than he is forced to drive. He made the choice, he is responsible for their care. He should have considered his illegal status before hand. Having children does not entitled one to ignore the laws of the United States.

Leave Jacoba — and take your anchors with you. That is the interesting thing about anchors — you are suppose to be able to lift them up and sail away.

Harry — did you know that it costs roughly 40% more to educate the LEP/ESOL students. So those LEP/ESOL students are robbing the native born English speaking students of their fair share of education tax dollars.

The 14th Amendment was not intended to grant citizenship to children of illegal aliens — it was intended to grant citizenship to freed slaves born in this nation.

Did you know that in just one year Parkland Hospital, located in Dallas, Texas, incurred costs of over $75 million attributed to births to illegal alien mothers. This is just one hospital in one city. Just imagine the additional health care services that could be provided to the citizens of the United States if these resources were used for them instead of providing free medical care to illegals.

Harry did you know that illegal alien females have a fertility rate that is approximately 1.5 children higher than females remaining in their country of orgin (3.8 children(anchors) each).

Harry did you know that illegal alien females have a fertility rate that is approximately 1 child higher than legal immigrants (2.8 children each).

So women illegal enter the US have more children than their legal counterparts, and their non-immigrating peers.

Deport those here illegal Harry — their minor children should leave with them — or the parents can arrange for the care with a legal guardian. It is called accountability for personal decisions. Actions have consequences and illegal actions should also have consequences.

Children of illegal aliens, even if they are born on US soil, still have citizenship in the country their parents came from. Citizenship in most of Central/South America is based on ‘jus sanguinis’.

Deporting an entire family to a country in which they all have citizenship isn’t unfair or unjust.

When those kids are 18 or have a legal guardian who is a citizen then they are free to live here.

what the hell are you talking about? do you read? if so you’ll realize I said nothing about deportation, although I think he should be deported and as for his children? I dont give a damn about them, the children are the parents responsibility and you’ll find that every law on the books says as much. If they are citizens then they can stay, he’ll have to go and it’s up to him to find support for them here in the states or they can go with him. Although I’m sure heartbreaking for some, that’s the name of the game here.

You take an awful big step here by attempting to put words in my mouth where none existed however my thoughts have been clearly explained in this post.

Judy T what do you want to do with legal children with disabilities who are being main streamed into education such as the autistic who often require one person all day long to be with them in the class and can be very disruptive to the education of all the other children. This is required by Law and is a very difficult question to be answered. This might even be one of the lesser costs added to school cost to comply with the law. What do you feel about legal imagrants from many different conutries who get LEP/ESOL should that be stopped and break the law? FAirfax county has over 60 different languages spoken by their students. I wonder how many different languages are in PWC schools and require LEP/ESOL and how many children are in them.

The 14th Amendment was not intended to grant citizenship to children of illegal aliens — it was intended to grant citizenship to freed slaves born in this nation.

The Supreme Court made any one born in the country citizens so that is what you need to change. You of course do accept the Rule of Law in this country don’t you. It is interesting that you never see a back lash about the judges who let criminals out on bail legal or other wise.

Just so you understand true immigration laws please read on.
    1. There will be no special bilingual programs in the schools.
    2. All ballots will be in this nation’s language.
    3. All government business will be conducted in our language.
    4. Non-residents will NOT have the right to vote no matter how long they are here.
    5. Non-citizens will NEVER be able to hold political office.
    6. Foreigners will not be a burden to the taxpayers. No welfare, no food stamps, no health care, or other government assistance programs. Any burden
    will be deported.
    7. Foreigners can invest in this country, but it must be an amount at least equal to 40,000 times the daily minimum wage.
    8. If foreigners come here and buy land… Options will be restricted.
Certain parcels including waterfront property are reserved for citizens naturally born into this country.
    9. Foreigners may have no protests; no demonstrations, no waving of a
foreign flag, no political organizing, no bad-mouthing our president or his policies. These will lead to deportation.
    10. If you do come to this country illegally, you will be actively hunted &, when caught, sent to jail until your deportation can be arranged. All assets will be taken from you.
    Harsh, you say?
The above laws are current immigration laws of MEXICO.

Hey, where are all the moonbats who usually turn up in these threads? I demand my comic relief!

Oh by the way, those children of illegal aliens who claim citizenship by birth should be required to assume all the liability for their parents unpaid back state and federal taxes when they reach the age of 18, as well as pay all back social security to ensure their parents do not become burdens to society when they reach age 70.

I bet if that was the way things were there would be lots of these kids putting their folks on a bus headed south of the border the minute they graduated from High School. Adios Papi and Mommy.

Typical liberal — change the subject. My concern is with the illegals and children of illegals who are overcrowding the schools — who show up with no English and because no English is spoken at home they require LEP or ESOL classes (at the added expense of $3,500 a year) to the education costs.

What is your response? What abot Autistic children? or children with disabilities. Well first autistic children or children with other disabilities are not making up 20% of the total enrollment. Second, these children are native born of citizen parents. As such the additional expense for these students is part of the overall education system and expected. It is about the illegals who show up — drop anchors — and overburden our tax system. Sorry — but I would rather keep my tax dollars and clean my own house.

There are langugages other than Spanish in ESOL & LEP PWC schools — however — the burden is the Spanish speaking students. Spanish speaking illegals make up 90% of the illegal alien probem in the United States.

The remainder of the illegal alien population is from Asia, Africa, or Europe — these folks are learning English.

I don’t change the subject I do not let someone get away with half truths and that does get them into a name called mode :))))

Based on conversations with teachers in Va and in one of the top two staes for eductaion in the country they are not spending 3,500,00 for each student for ESOL/LEP. Who know what they are saying in PWC with this Superintendent.
