Anarchists Join The Illegal Alien Debate

The illegal alien lobby has grown just a little larger with the formation of the Virginia Anarchist Federation, complete with a “propaganda committee” that will certainly add great value to the nonsense being spewed by those so determined to protect illegal aliens from the consequences of their unlawful behavior. Their “points of unity” (which are helpfully provided in both English and Spanish) seem strangely familiar to anyone who’s been subjected to the diatribes of noted Zapatistas like Gaudencio Fernandez or Ricardo Juarez:
Points of Unity
- Supportive of community self determination and management over all aspects of social and economic life without the impedance of local, state, or federal governments.
- Work for a sustainable relationship with nature.
- Supportive of the right to both individual and communal self-defense.
- Supportive of mutual aid to individuals and communities in need.
- Supportive of a diversity of tactics.
- Supportive of participatory direct-democracy.
- Supportive of a basic respect for all individuals.
- Supportive of worker self-management in the workplace.
- Supportive of the creation of a stateless society.
- Supportive of indigenous peoples in their struggles against oppression.
- Against authoritarian power structures and all forms of oppression and discrimination.
- Opposed to the current criminal “justice” system.
- Opposed to a culture of militarism.
- Opposed to the exploitation of any person’s labor by another.
- Opposed to imperialism and the divisive use of race and nationality.
You just have to wonder what these folks mean by “communal self-defense”. Since their propaganda committee seems to feature a Zapatista revolutionary wearing the trademark ski mask, one might wonder whether the other trademark of the Zapatista Army of National Liberation, the AK-47 assault rifle, will help implement this “stateless society” that will support “indigenous peoples in their struggles against oppression” and oppose “the current criminal justice system.” Democracy, at least as I understand it, is unlikely to result in the elimination of federal, state and local government, which would suggest that if these nutcases really intend to succeed, they’re going to have to find some alternative means other than the ballot box.
Illegal alien supporters in Virginia contend that the arguments in favor of the rule of law are nothing but an attempt to divide the populace along lines of race, ethnicity and nationality. If the philosophical basis for that strange belief has been a mystery to you, it shouldn’t be any longer. Nor should it be considered anything particularly novel. This opposition to our American tradition that everyone should be held equally to the letter of the law didn’t just recently materialize, it’s been the foundation of the anarchist movement ever since the European revolutions of 1848. Now the naive, the ignorant and the deranged seek to promote this ridiculous concept, cloaking it in the much more politically palatable but dishonest brand of “social justice”.
So we’ve got the Virginia Federation of Anarchists, a reconstituted Students for A Democratic Society, the Yippies, and the North Eastern Federation of Anarchist Communists, as well as our local collection of what Lenin called “useful idiots” all weighing in in support of the illegal aliens. Nostalgia can be sort of quaint, but this kind of nostalgia is just plain stupid.

After reading that list, I think these folks need to head South to Cuba and then further South to Venezuela given that those two Countries are led by oppressive Governments that do not provide basic rights to their respective populations.
Such idealism is expensive. Its nice to know their parents money
is being spent for a “worthy cause”. Back in the 60’s we called
them “credit card communists”. Laughable at best.
Now they’re known as trust fund kiddies.
Actually, this is great. Does anybody actually believe that ANY elected official in the Commonwealth of Virginia who has any future in politics whatsoever will want to be associated with ANYBODY in this group, or with any group that the Anarchists might support? I would suggest that the new letters and emails going to Kaine, Saslaw, and all the other illegal alien supporters should be accusing these folks of being un-American, contrary to true Virginia tradition, in their support of anarchists. This couldn’t be better…rub their noses in it!!

The more extreme fringe groups attach themselves to illegal alien “lobbyists” the better. They only shine a brighter light on who these people really are and what their agenda is.
Anarchists uniting? Points of Unity? I hope I’m not the only one who sees the irony in that.
Groups like these are the reason I’m grateful for the 2nd amendment and VA’s CCW laws.
On a blog where people call Governor Kaine “far left,” it is amusing to see how the actual radical left is treated. I am sure this group can be nothing but pleased to be accorded such significance.
I noticed on their website that they have “not finished their constitution” yet. I did it for them about 10 minutes ago right after I flushed. Looney tunes are a part of America and these loons worry more about here than all the countries south of our border who would never ascribe to anything they have written which would lead to their quick demise or imprisonment in some hell hole in those “freer” countries.
Freedom to them is something to abuse, not thank God for.
No need to worry though, another HalleBop comet may come by soon and swoop these loons to a “better place”.

Looks like prime foreclosure huntingrounds assuming anyone with a brain would move to your neck of the woods!…..Keep up the racial profiling so the rest of N Va’s real estate stays stable . People are amazed when I tell them that my offspring will be left to their own devices to finance college (as I was). When I came home from my hitch in the Marines, my father told me that my college fund had been invested in land. I sucked it up and worked my way through college. It sure kept me out of the Pubs. The picture does tell a story. Two fuzzball adults and the stupid kids who worship them. My professors used to get furious when I’d calmly point out how unenlightened they were, having traveled and experienced more in four years than they had in 20.
Brainwashing-it’s not just for the Few and the the Proud.
It’s a testament to the great country that we live in that groups like this even exist. If they did this in the same countries they idolized, they’d be systematically hunted down and either jailed or executed.
If Ted Warner is right we’ll be having them for lunch in 10-20 years. Hope they stay fat.

Kids will be kids. When I was a young revolutionary I did silly things like this too. Let them have their fun, as long as no one gets hurt (or executed).

Watch out Bourgeoisie, its some tubby kid with a pipe. Shake the foundations. Truth told, they do this to get under conservatives noses. I mean, they get a laugh every time some guy thanks God for the second amendment because of them. This sort of circle the wagons reaction probably reminds them of their parents (or what they think their parents were like. Most likely they were ok). They hate their parents.

Those of you who dismiss groups such as this obviously are too young to remember what happened in this country in the 60’s and 70’s. As young a soldier who manned a water cannon mounted to the back of a 5 ton truck to disburse violent crouds in the 70’s, I don’t see just a bunch of “kids” when I look at this picture. Abbie Hoffman, Jerry Rubin, David Dellinger, Tom Hayden, Rennie Davis, John Froines, Lee Weiner and Bobby Seale (to name a few) were just “kids”.
Like I said, thank god for the Second Amendment and VA’s CCW laws.

Americas new Left version 2.5
The Wilson / Roosevelt American left version 1.0 influenced the American New Left version 2.0. Their collective efforts and corrupting influence have been devastating to Americans liberties since well before the New Deal. The 1960’s members of the New Left 2.0 own virtually every college campus in America. These are the prophets and puppet masters of this new breed of leftists.
Leftists dogma was dangerous in the 1920’s, 1960’s and is a far greater threat today. These are not the harmless rantings of misguided youth. These ideas are the common philosophical underpinnings of every socialist, fascist and communists government to come down the pike. These are the thought processes that brought us Marx, Engels, Trotsky, Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini, Mao and Polpot. The various versions of American leftists admired, opined in favor of or made excuses for this historical cast of characters for the last 90 years and beyond. American youth exhibiting that same behavior is not to be taken lightly.
