As young a soldier who manned a water cannon mounted to the back of a 5 ton truck to disburse violent crouds in the 70's, I don't see just a bunch of "kids" when I look at this picture. Abbie Hoffman, Jerry Rubin, David Dellinger, Tom Hayden, Rennie Davis, John Froines, Lee Weiner and Bobby Seale (to name a few) were just "kids".
