Border Jumpers Celebrate Ecological Disaster

The insanity without borders crowd has been providing daily updates on their website documenting the progress of their group of kooks as they travel to Mexico with the intention of smuggling themselves across the Arizonan border. These little diaries display a a level of mental disorder that few could have previously imagined possible, as they celebrate the ecological destruction of the Sonoran desert as if it was some sort of quasi-religious experience. I guess these aren’t exactly environmental activists.
Today we test the migrant trails. They trickle across the desert, up steep hills and into rocky ravines, through mini-forests of strange, prickly ocotillo cactus trees; trails littered with empty water bottles and odd scraps of clothing. In the dry, sandy dirt we can see the footprints of those who walked before us, last night or last week-even now they are sleeping not far from where we walk. Stepping on those tracks is like sitting in a sacred space where many have prayed before you. It is like walking through Auschwitz, or standing at the site of a slave market. The sun beats down from a perfect blue sky, and today even a cool breeze follows us over the narrow paths, as we place our feet where the owner of those cast aside undergarment had placed hers, on the tracks of those who left the empty tuna cans.
What they’re so in awe of is an ecological disaster that has severely stressed a rather fragile ecosystem and caused such pollution in the local aquifer that groundwater wells are no longer safe to drink from. The huge masses of illegal aliens, human smugglers, and drug cartels that sneak across the border every night have been discarding trash, casting off excess personal items, and defecating in the more easily traveled arroyos — the almost-always dry riverbeds which also provide some degree of concealment and cover. What is left in these arroyos filters almost all the water that ends up in the meager aquifer of this region, which provides most of the water available for both local wildlife and the people who inhabit these areas.
A sacred space this is not. It is nothing but a horrific example of the shocking irresponsibility of people who treat the land as their personal trash dump and open-air toilet in their effort to break federal immigration laws. The hard left might see this as some deeply meaningful shrine to our humanity, but those who have heard the stories of “rape trees” are only left with a feeble hope that the panties these folks encountered lying on the ground were voluntarily removed, and not another testament of brutality. Only the insane can celebrate widespread ecological destruction, drug smuggling and human trafficking, and the deaths that accompany this horrendous situation.
What kind of people could ever revere such a horror?
UPDATE: Pacifica Radio, out of Berkley, has an interview with these folks after a brief musical interlude here. Take note of how the Rule of Law Resolution is described as a system of police checkpoints and having police check people’s paperwork because of people’s appearance. And the hard left isn’t supposedly engaging in fear-mongering? Pathetic.

It sounds like some of our neighborhoods before the “Rule of Law” Resolution.
Amen, AWC, it not only sounds like our neighborhoods that imported the filth and lack of personal hygiene, but looks like what we have seen in the PWC area, not only on the soccer fields and in yards of flophouses, but right out on sidewalks in front of businesses and in school parking lots - I have seen it with my own eyes, unfortunately, by those “hard working hombres that just want to make life better for themselves and their families.”

This littering pisses me off. I was picking up beer bottles this morning.
However the fence is also ecologically problematic. I hope we can show the same concern for the ecology when it does not fit with our concerns over immigration.
I thought they just wanted to work? Apparently they want to work to jack up our land as well. If they are going to break the law would it be too much for these animals to pack out their trash? I’m sorry for being harsh but try as I might, I cannot find a single thing positive about illegal immigrants. The bottom line is that these folks are invaders who put themselves and their families in harms way to break the law. Whatever happened to personal responsibility? apparently they have none.

Littering is a serious concern. Trash is not only an eyes sore and an expression you don’t care about the place where you are. In this area,
it’s a serious public health issue. The disease carrying asian tiger mosquito can breed in a tiny amount of water, a thimble full. Every bottle or cup or plastic bag that holds a little bit of water helps mosquitoes breed and spread the diseases they carry.
The Desert Bighorns in the Sonoran Desert are seriously in jeopardy, They are extremely fragile creatures and this desecration of their habitat is appaling

No surprise here. It looks pretty much like how they left the last place they were at, and how their new digs in the U.S.A. will look after a week of decorating. We don’t give the keys to the car to a 12 year of just because they can reach the gas and see over the steering wheel. Meanwhile, evil forces are at work conspiring to outfit these “migrants” with cell phones, driver’s license, low doc -interest only mortgage loans and free medical care on the premise they somehow have a “right” to them. And the 12 year old wonders why they can’t even start the car.
If you see one of them cleaning something up, chances are very good they’re getting paid to do it.
Otherwise they couldn’t be bothered.
IndiN8V (aka Aztec) doesn’t see the problem. Perhaps lives like that. But I guess if you want to return to the Aztec ways and rip the hearts out of thousands of live human sacrifices per day, leaving these piles of debris seems harmless in comparison. Sorry IndiNative, but these are not the ways for “guests” to ingratiate themselves to us. They are quite UNwelcome.

The above quote of Jose Angel Gutierrez comes to us compliments of a translation provided by RebelReggie on another thread. He tried posting it on AntiBVBL as well and, sadly, it raised not a single comment either here (other than mine) or there. This person (Gutierrez) is not only preaching/teaching his venom to the illegal aliens, he is teaching it to our own youth. At the time he made that statement at a gathering in Mexico, he was Chairman of the Political Science Department at the University of Texas.

Yea, you are right. I have learned the ways of the white man and can even do them better than most white people. I am not necessarily proud of this but it is what it is. Though I can see where we must go, and can perhaps lay a foundation for the meek to get there, I am as contaminated as you. I do not see myself as one of the meek. Unfortunately I am a warrior. It is not necessarily a path I wish or desire. However, as a warrior perhaps I can help create open space in our contaminated world for the meek to inherit the Earth. The ancestors have given me this role in this life. I do not have to like it. One only has to fulfill ones souls hidden agenda. The question is what is your soul’s agenda.

This sort of problem seems quite common among Hispanics. I have observed Hispanic men throwing bags of McDonalds trash from moving vehicles on numerous occasions. Shopping center parking lots in the area are also littered with trash.
What would Iron Eyes Cody think of this? I guess he would side with the litterers, according to Disingenuous Native American.

Sorry Anonymous, I wasn’t trying to paint with a broad brush, but I think there is a cultural component here with the “recently arrived” persons of Hispanic heritage. Look at the border pictures and tell me who is doing that littering?
