While I don’t necessarily think all the criticism in this video is legitimate, such as the discussion of Barack Obama’s name or his two year attendance at an Indonesian Madrassa when he was a child, the discussion of Liberation Theology and Black Liberation Theology, and the degree to which Obama may adhere to these ideas should be questioned by the voters. It’s still well worth a watch.

Notice, though, that he uses the words “The RIGHT (emphasis mine) Leader at the RIGHT time”.
He may be a Democrat, but you HAVE to respect his credentials!!! At leat the Republican front-runner is a former Marine Captain. Semper Fi!!!
Regardless of Party, it makes me sick to see this SEAL’s, a.k.a. barrel chested American Freedom fighter’s, well deserved title of “hero” disgraced in this mornings POTNEWS Editorial section when the same term is applied to Principi in a letter to the Edirot, paaleeeze……
When you’re talking to Lumpkin and the terms “hero” and “sub” come up, you’re talking about killing terrorists, when those terms come up with Principi, your talking about lunch….

I agree that discussion about his name and few years at the school are a bit much…he didn’t have a choice about either, and if he changed his name, he’d be accused of hiding his original name (Barak is actually a Hebrew name meaning “lightning”; Hussein is a ridiculously common name in the Arabic world and means “handsome”; Obama is a Hebrew/Arabic surname).
But the other stuff is very eye-opening…like the details the regular media outlets have supressed regarding the Black Liberation stuff. Just the other day, I was listening to 102.3 and callers were discussing the media flak surrounding Rev. Wright’s comments, and while most were just saying the usual “they need to leave Obama alone…he can’t control what another grown man will say”, etc., one caller had the audacity to say “if all these stupid white people…” and that got me irritated. The worst part was instead of trying to get the caller under control or dump the caller (like most other DJs do when callers say something inappropriate), she agreed and the two of them went on for a good five minutes discussing the how white people are trying to bring down Obama. Probably doesn’t mean much to the station, but they lost a listener right then and there.
The issue with Wright’s comments is that he’s hardly the only one in a leadership position saying those sorts of things. While listening to Tom Joyner during the Pennsylvania primary, and then yesterday during the Indiana and NC primaries, they would have periodic reports on “Election Trickery” where they’d report areas having difficulty with voting machines working, or jurisdictions that didn’t receive the most recent DMV list, etc., and they’d spin it to be like “The Man” was keepin’ Black folks from voting. PULLLLEEEAAASSSEEE! I mean, it’s good to say, “hey, there are issues as this voting place because the machines are down”, but bad to insinuate it’s because the “White Right-Wing America” has a new spin on voter intimidation.
Of course if a white DJ made any of those sorts of remarks, regardless of his political leanings, he’d be ousted. Why can’t anyone see that racism isn’t one-way? It isn’t just white people hating other races…it’s ANYONE hating any other race…but for some reason Black racism against whites is allowed, and in some cases, encouraged, in the public arena.
It’s encouraged mainly by FOX News, I think.
There’s truth in all that Wine Please but it’s not as if white people aren’t also gullible creatures who look to hear what reinforces their beliefs and ignore what doesn’t. For God’s sake just look at this asinine war in Iraq we got pulled into over a bunch of complete nonsense.
Obama deserves some heat over the Wright thing but whether you want to define a man by his pastor’s weakest moments is entirely up to you. If you ask me anyone who says they talk to God in the first place is an obvious liar.
The video cuts him up pretty good … but a vote for Senator Juan McAmnesty, who by the way is crankier than the average nursing home resident and more out of touch, is the alternative.
If Obama has any hope of being President he needs to throw his big ugly Racist wife under the Bus alone with his Grandmother and the Rev. Wright. I am sure the Obama cult will believe him & defend when he tells them he just discovered she was an American hating, Racist!
Part of the Obama snow job where he portrayed Rev. Wright’s paranoid rants as coming from anger that is the baggage as the legacy of of old white racism, carried by old blacks. Well, there is current-day stuff that is alive and well, carried by the young blacks, that is a lot worse than the racism, sexism and homophobic intolerance of the older generation of blacks. It’s called Hip Hop, Gangsta and Street culture. It’s full of racism, paranoia, anger, violence, abuse of women, sexism and a whole lot of dysfunctional antisocial expression schemes. The social psychological disordered behavior that Rev. Wright’s hate-speech-as-sermons represents and coveys to blacks and supported by Obama is alive and well in the current-day generation in Black America. It’s just in a newer more dangerous carnation.
Blacks leaders should start speaking out about taking some personal responsibility for high rate of high school drop out, sexual promiscuity, children born out of wedlock, , absence of male parenting/role models, drugs, crime, incarceration, AIDS, instead of playing the victim hood game and blaming whites for black failures! Until that time there will always be hate mongers & race baiter,s to use them and profit from their plight like the Rev. Wright, Rev. Jessie Jackson, Rev. Al Sharpton, as well as 10,s of thousands of White and Black Politicians. In fact the whole Democrat party! Hand outs, instead of a hand up, is the means of keeping Blacks down and economic Slaves! Keeping Blacks as an race of victims and believing all of the above is Whitey fault is designed to keep them from progressing instead of a race of achievers! It is in the best interest of Black preachers and Democrat politicians! Blacks will never be lead to the promise land by hate mongering Preachers like Rev. Wright or by bottom feeding Politicians that wants and works to keep Blacks in the Ghetto, on Welfare, and voting Democrat!
No one’s black…no one’s white…no one’s green…we’re just people. Try closing your eyes sometimes…it helps you listen
