Having lived in Arlington for five years before moving to Lakeridge, move of the illegal alliens rent in apartments and convert the dining rooms into bedrooms.

They really congregate at the London House, River Place, Palisades Park
Townhomes, Fort Georgetown apartments and Belvedere building.

It is never a dull moment at these places.

Now the people of Arlington will wake up! BEFORE…when it was a Prince William County problem it was all good since it wasn’t in there area. I’ve said for a couple of years now that Walter Tejada would bring Arlington DOWN and he continues to lead this effort. They elected him so DEAL WITH IT!

Also, it makes no different whether a person is a liberal or conservative or black or white, the bottom line is that ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION must be stopped!

KP, They’ll be rented to because they switch last names at the drop of a hat. They will steal someone else’s identity and start over.
My suggestion to Walter Tejada would be to create special zoning, applicable to HIS neighborhood only. Let HIS neighbor’s create apartments in their basement to rent out. Or better yet have him rent his own place out.

too bad Leesburg residents didn’t complain when their town council decided to put up low-income housing. But what do you expect from a jurisdiction that won’t hold Lansdowne criminally liable for all those illegal workers rounded up in the raid several weeks back.

I am confused. If the foreclosure rate is so high and there is a real demand for rentals, then how the heck does a person that got foreclosed on have good enough credit to get a rental? I still don’t get how an illegal could get credit in the first place. I suppose that if this zoning passes, then a person could build their 750 sq ft. slum-house and rent it to anyone and everyone that can pay it (including illegals) without a credit check. Maybe it will make the owner feel good that they are helping to coddle sad-poor illegals.

Like Mr. Berry, we too worked hard to move up to a nice single family neighborhood. And then the wheels which run on cash allowed the definition to be changed to “Multi purchaser- owner- rented to many tenants- suburban dwelling” by short circuited the historically proven steps to get here with sub-prime loans to unqualified buyers with no clue or interest in assimilation.

I ask Arlington residents if they even looked at Walter’s extremely slanted record of public service and advocacy before the election or did they just throw darts at names on a board? NOW they speak out when the threat moves north of Lee Highway.

Ha ha I just love the condescending attitude of self loathing anti-American liberals. Again, they sure do wax on about diversity etc, etc, until it is at their door steps. My how the worm has turned.

Of course most of these folks live north of route 50 which is the dividing line between north and South Arlington. Which means they are particularly liberal and condescending.

I do look forward to our resident lib from Arlington to weigh in on this…..

Many of the houses in Arlington are far from grand. Many Arlington homes look like crap. Expensive crap, since they are close in to D.C. So now people who paid big prices for homes far, far smaller than mine are waking up to what the invasion can do to THEIR property values and quality of life. We told you so.
