Hager and Frederick Debate!
By Greg L | 16 May 2008 | RPV | 6 Comments
The Prince William County Young Republicans have managed to set up what one else seems to have been able to make happen — a debate between candidates for RPV Chairman Jeff Frederick and John Hager. I don’t know how they managed to pull this off, but we get to reap the benefit regardless. The debate will be on May 22nd at Robert E. Lee High School in Springfield, starting at 7:30PM.
Congrats to the PWYRs for pulling together one of the most significant Republican political events in Northern Virginia this year!

Too bad Gilmore won’t debate Marshall.
Thanks for the Post Greg! But I want everyone to know it was just as much the Arlington YRs and the Fairfax YRs. Anyway- getting them to come and debate was only the first step in pulling off a successful event. Please submit question ideas to pwyrclub@gmail.com!
Unfortunately, the debate’s time/date coincides with the town hall meeting of the state Immigration Commission at GMU (FFX) and with Mr. Stirrup’s town hall meeting at Stonewall Middle School.
Wow! The YR’s actually did something! There’s the story.
wow…how young are these young Republicans again? at any rate, kudos to all three groups!
Maybe Hager can explain why he’s got so many endorsements… from Democrats!
Hager’s former boss Mark Warner endorsed him for RPV Chairman (http://www.progress-index.com/site/news.cfm?newsid=19492104&BRD=2271&PAG=461&dept_id=462946&rfi=6).
Dickie Cranwell, Chairman of the Democratic Party of Virginia has also endorsed him (http://www.familyfoundationblog.com/?p=264).
This begs the question: why are Democratic leaders so anxious to have Hager in charge of the Virginia GOP?
