My favorite part of that video is when he points out that some pharmacists in Britain are refusing to dispense birth control because of their religion--but wait, we have that in Virginia, too, but it's not Muslim pharmacists, it's Christian ones. And they are supported by a vast majority of our legislature in doing so. Where's the outcry over that?

As far as “good hygiene, good manners and patriotic citizenship” goes, they should have learned that back home. But America does provide that too, it’s called the Peace Corps, coming soon to a developing nation near you.

I ran into many Peace Corps people all through the many years I spent overseas and personal hygiene was not one of their assets. It was not because of a lack of water or a bar of soap.

Ha! Real americans believe in freedom of speech. That means freedom to say what you want in whatever language you want. Nobody, who truly understands the constitution would ever support an assault on our freedom of speech by telling people not to speak spanish. It's not spanish speakers who threaten our country.

It's fascists like you MdMan who are the greatest threat. You use people's fears to attack out constitution. You need fear. You grow fear. Why? Because fear is always the enemy of freedom. It's freedom that you hate MdMan. It's freedom you wish to destroy.

most of these illegals are just trying to make a better life and have the potential of becoming solid Americans, if we help them.

*********************************************************

Despite their potential, they have started out on the wrong foot by entering this country illegally. This simple fact renders any and all excuses moot.

America has provided opportunity to millions, foreign and domestic, who are willing to put forth the effort in the right way. While millions more wait for their opportunity by following the legal means of entry, no matter how burdensome and time consuming, we are supposed to welcome, support and aid those who break the law, and rob others of their rightful opportunities because they did not want to pay the upfront cost to become an honest American citizen?

As far as "good hygiene, good manners and patriotic citizenship" goes, they should have learned that back home. But America does provide that too, it's called the Peace Corps, coming soon to a developing nation near you.

J. Tyler: I'll do anything to help an immigrant. I'll do everything to see to it that an Illegal Invader is sent back to the country that should be seeing to his/her social needs. Note that I do not equate Illegal Invaders with "Immigrants." Doing so denigrates my heritage. Anyone who violates the sovereignty of this country by trekking through a desert, by wading through a river, by hiding in the back of a truck, or by overstaying his/her visa is consciously committing a crime against the citizens of this country and is not entitled to the ministration that you advocate.

The Brits, much like our Illegal Invader Abettors, thought that uncontrolled, unchecked immigration from failed countries could be absorbed and was beneficial. They failed to realize (or maybe they did) that the immigrants were, as a group, committed to proving that their cultures were superior to the West's, and refused to assimilate, with the resultant friction occurring.

Mostly Democrats are responsible for screwing our country by revising the immigration policies to induce the "browning of America." The Democrats reasoned that more Latinoes would translate into more Democratic votes. Although this gain in votes remains to be realized, the Democrats were successful in making it harder for Eastern Europeans to come to the USA, while they opened the flood gates to people from Latino countries with increased quotas and by turning a blind eye to border enforcement.

Our Republicans, as always, are so frightened that someone will call them racists, have gone along with the Democrats with the vacuous hope that some of the Latinoes who have come here illegally by the millions will thank Republicans for granting them amnesty. To these Republicans, I suggest you look at the post Reagan amnesty voter numbers and there is no evidence of any thank-yous from the La Raza crowd from that era.

I do not support xenophobia as our national response to these new people who have come here, in the view of the dittoheads, seeking to steal, rape, deal drugs and of course, hang drywall in that room renovation at your house in suburbia. The reality is that despite the vitriol from the xenophobes, most of these illegals are just trying to make a better life and have the potential of becoming solid Americans, if we help them.

Instead of retreating to gate-guarded communities and isolating these new people, our civic groups should all initiate outreach programs that will help make good citizens out of them. Kiwanis, Rotary, Lions and other such groups should all be running ESL programs and citizenship courses. Teach these folks good hygiene, good manners and patriotic citizenship, and within one generation we will all be able to congratulate ourselves on how we helped make America a greater nation, where Latino-Americans are viewed as being right along side Italian Americans, German Americans, Dutch Americans, etc. all being fiercely patriotic, productive, and solid citizens in our communities.

We should learn from the Brits what can happen when immigrants don’t assimilate. God knows we’ve seen it here on a thankfully smaller scale (except in LA).

That about it sums it up, especially the fat and complacent part. I said as much in an email to some friends about the Help Save Maryland rally Saturday at the Gaithersburg MVA (graciously attended by 9500 Liberty). MD Delegate Ana Sol Gutierrez was there as well, and tried to have the MD State Police disband us. Hmm, an elected representative of US citizens, sworn to uphold the constitution, trying to abridge one our most basic rights to peaceably assemble and petition government. I bet democratic principles like the Bill of Rights are not very popular in Ana Sol's native El Salvador, but some of us here in America like to "cling" to it.

Oh, back to my friends...."yawn, whatever". What the hell has happened to our society that most people won't get off their lazy asses and engage their government? Where are my countrymen and leaders who still know what patriotism is? Voting aint enough people!

The biggest enemy of America right now is not the insurgents in Iraq, they are the illegals speaking Spanish in our society, the Muslim women wearing headscarfs and refusing to share a Harvard gym with American men. They push, we fall back. To be sure, political correctness run amok is our worst enemy. Look no further than Barak Obama who probably will be our next president. In his latest socialist policy rant he wants to tell how much we can eat, drive, and what temperature we can keep our house at.

I fear for the future of America, because to those who can see (of which there is not enough of us), our liberty is being chipped away each day.

Muhammad is now second only to Jack as the most popular name for baby boys in Britain and is likely to rise to No 1 by next year, a study by The Times has found. -The Times June 6, 2007-

In forty years time will the UK be the world's number one Islamic state?

This is the way it has become. They are even pushing for recognition of sharia law to be used along with and instead of the existing British law. You think we got problems now with the illegas from down south. This stuff is just under the surface aroud here, waiting to be uncorked.
