City Requires Spanish Version of Jamiel's Law Petition

By Walter Moore, Candidate for Mayor Of Los Angeles, http://waltermooreformayor.com

Get this: before we can start circulating the Jamiel's Law petition initiative for signatures, we must translate it into Spanish. I got the official notification yesterday.

Can you imagine that kind of thing happening anywhere else in the world? Do you think the Russians require election materials be printed in Chinese? Or the French mandate German-language ballots? Criminy.

But translate it we will. I guesstimate the petitions should be ready to roll by mid-June. Of course I'll let you know as soon as they are ready.

And here's some good news: you will be able to download the petition forms from the website. However, only people who reside in the City of L.A. can collect signatures, and only registered voters who reside in the City of L.A. can sign the petition.

Finally, FYI, the City Attorney's office came up with the following official ballot title and summary, which we will add to the draft petition when we re-submit it:

"LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT; FEDERAL IMMIGRATION LAWS. INITIATIVE ORDINANCE

"The proposed ordinance provides that neither the Mayor, Chief of Police nor any other City employee shall prohibit or inhibit Los Angeles Police Department officers from investigating possible violations of immigration laws by gang members. The proposed ordinance also requires the City to develop and implement a plan for the Los Angeles Police Department, in cooperation with other government officials, to identify, arrest, deport and/or prosecute and imprison gang members who are in the country illegally. The proposed ordinance also requires the Mayor to provide the City Council and public with quarterly reports on the City's efforts to implement this proposed ordinance."

According to Feinstein's DC office, Harry Reid pulled the Feinstein/Craig amendment off the War Appropritions bill. I tried to confirm with Reid's office. His staffer had also heard that but has been unable to confirm it. She said IF it had been pulled it would have JUST been done (not last night like that lying staffer said). I just called Feinstein's office back to call the staffer a liar and a guy answered and said that it WAS pulled along with 19 other amendments that had been attached. I'm still trying to confirm,.......if anyone else confirms it, please post it.

OK......Just got confirmation from Jeff Sessions office. Press Release came out about 3 min. ago. Our calls and faxes worked !!
found this on another site and we still need to call or email and fax
thru www.capswiz.com stay on the H2b visas and don't let them increase these either. They bring in workers they don't follow up on these people and when they get here they move on to other jobs americans will do. That is why with 30 million illegals here and they STILL don't have enough workers. It is used as a back door to enter the country . go to capswiz and use their services( or better yet CALL .) It is free if you can't pay but they ask for a small donation. But they will still let you use it and once you fill out the information It is in there which makes it Sooooo easy to use.

TDB:

Yes, we are that stupid. There's been a few posts lately about who is laughing at whom. I'll tell you this much: The petty politicians in certain towns and counties in Mexico are laughing their asses off at you and me for paying taxes to support their excess populations that they've sent to el Norte. And while you and I pay to support them, they steal our sons' and daughters' jobs, rape our children, trash our neighborhoods, degrade our schools, inflate the housing market, send their wages back home, cause economic chaos, and make a few owners of landscape and construction companies rich with their slave wages. Our governor hobnobs with the Mexican politicians and extols the virtues of the "internationalization" of Virginia.

Yeah.  We are that stupid.

WHY AMNESTY MUST BE DEFEATED!!!

============================
In just two years...

Part 1
In just two years. Remember the election in 2006?
Thought you might like to read the following:
A little over one year ago:

1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high;
2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon;
3) The unemployment rate was 4.5%.

Since voting in a Democratic Congress in 2006 we have seen:

1) Consumer confidence plummet;
2) The cost of regular gasoline soar to over $3.50 a gallon;
3) Unemployment is up to 5% (a 10% increase);
4) American households have seen $2.3 trillion in equity value evaporate (stock and mutual fund losses);
5) Americans have seen their home equity drop by $1.2 trillion dollars;
6) 1% o f Amer ican homes are in foreclosure.

America voted for change in 2006, and we got it!

Remember it's Congress that makes law not the President.
He has to work with what's handed to him.

Quote of the Day........
'My friends, we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world.
I hope you'll join with me as we try to change it.' -- Barack Obama

Part 2:
Taxes...Whether Democrat or a Republican you will find these statistics enlightening and amazing.
www.taxfoundation.org/publications/show/151.html

Taxes under Clinton 1999 Taxes under Bush 2008
Single making 30K - tax $8,400           Single making 30K - tax $4,500
Single making 50K - tax $14,000         Single making 50K - tax $12,500
Single making 75K - tax $23,250         Single making 75K - tax $18,750
Married making 60K - tax $16,800       Married making 60K- tax $9,000
Married making 75K - tax $21,000     ; ;   Married making 75K - tax $18,750
Married making 125K - tax $38,750     Married making 125K - tax $31,250

Both democratic candidates will return to the higher tax rates.

It is amazing how many people that fall into the categories above think Bush is screwing them and Bill Clinton was the greatest President ever.
If Obama or Hillary are elected, they both say they will repeal the Bush tax cuts and a good portion of the people that fall into the categories above can't wait for it to happen.
This is like the movie The Sting with Paul Newman; you scam somebody out of some money and they don't even know what happened.
PART 3:

You think the war in Iraq is costing us too much? Read this:
Boy, am I confused. I have been hammered with the propaganda that it is the Iraq war and the war on terror that is bankrupting us. I now find that to be RIDICULOUS.
I hope the following 14 reasons are forwarded over and over again until they are read so many times that the reader gets sick of reading them.
I have included the URL's for verification of all the following facts.

The problem is Uneducated White voters never had the fine points of race and racism explained to them by learned professors. Not having a higher education to reply upon they must substitute common sense.

1.They have a very hard time understanding how one can sit in Church for 20 years and support ones friend and mentor week after week, month after month, year after year with your money, family and attendance while listening to Hate American, Hate whites, Hate every thing rants, (with the exception of Blacks and Muslins) means that you have not endorsed and do not believe in the Message and you have not endorsed and do not believe in the MESSENGER.
2.They have a hard time understanding why when Whites kill Blacks it is a hate crime but just crime when Black kill Whites.
3.Why all Blacks Colleges and and All black Miss American etc. etc is not discrimination.
4.Why being Black is more important than than Ability, Character, Motivation or other qualification in getting in Schools, Jobs, etc. etc.
5.They have a very hard time understanding why Whites voting for whites is racism but it is not racism for over 90% of Blacks voting for Obama.
6.They do not understand why believing in God, lovering this Nation, supporting the second Amendment, supporting Article IV Section IV of our Constitution against Invasion, and supporting the rule of Law, makes them intelligibly infer and bitter and the object of scorn and ridicule by Obama and his Cult followers!
7.Finally they just cannot comprehend how 2 very big wrongs make 1 great Right!

Larry Craig is still crusing the halls of the Senate? Trying to grease palms and slide this bill through a tight spot? Well, I think he'll find most people find this hard to swallow. Craig's stance on this issue may be a bit too wide for some tastes. He'll get all excited and try to stimulate public opinion, but I don't think he'll get the type of finish he is hoping for. Kind of like his sojourn in the Minnesota airport men's room, he may find this an unfulfilling endeavor ...

Hopefully he's discussed his position on this with his wife, unlike his toilet sex escapades which I think he only discussed with her after the fact.

Tap your foot three times on the toilet stall if you support amnesty.

I called about the H-2B increase. Let's hope enough citizens call about this and we can defeat it also.

GOOD NEWS!

It has been reported that the AgJOBS amnesty has been stripped from the Iraq Supplemental bill. Here's more good news: the employment-based permanent workers have been stripped from the bill too!

Unfortunately, the H-2B low-skill worker increase is still in the Iraq Supplemental so your phone calls are still needed.

Please keep phoning your Senators throughout the day and ask them to strip the H-2B increase from the Iraq Supplemental spending bill. During your call, you may also want to express how pleased you were to learn that the amnesty and employment-based permanent workers were stripped from the bill.

202-224-3121

Apparently Senate Majority Leader Reid and other Senators were starting to fear a prolonged fight over the immigration provisions, similar to the Senate fight last summer over the "comprehensive" immigration bill. In order to avoid that, Senator Reid stripped the AgJOBS amnesty and employment-based permanent increases from the bill.

Your Phone Calls Made This Happen Our Capitol Hill team is hearing from one Congressional office after another that their phones have been ringing off the hook in opposition to the immigration provisions in the Iraq Supplemental.

There is still a chance we can get the H-2B increase stripped from the bill if Senators come to believe that it is just too controversial. We will come to you again later in the day or evening as we have new information.
