Readers have been interested in what’s happening in the saga of the Woodbridge resident that is living near an un-permitted chicken ranch, so I contacted the Woodbridge resident in question to get an update. Despite complaints, the fowl are still there, and it seems that the story is getting a whole lot more interesting. The Prince William County Police Department better get their act in gear here before citizens start again embarrassing them during citizens time at a Board of County Supervisors meeting with evidence of this rampant illegal activity.
They (the power chickens) are still there - but Saturday our other English speaking neighbor called us to ask if we heard the music blaring from next door house between us. I told her it was (perhaps) to drown out the noise of the birds being slaughtered and the chickens in a frenzy, which were being quite loud in the background. This same person is the one that has to see the property owner and his grandson walk around the yard and urinate freely, anywhere. This resident said she was going to call the cops and complain about the noise since she had a migraine. I told her to go ahead, that they would think it was me anyway from my previous callings.
A bit later it was quiet and they fired up the “grill”.
Brief History: I was calling the police on an almost daily basis to report the cars brought in and parked on the street in the dead of night with no tags or displaying suspicious looking decals, both county and state. The couple that rents the basement (now referred to as: “the couple”) at the “ranch” next door, asked that I quit calling the law on them and their cars, telling me it is public property and they can park there.
The next day our other neighbor said that they saw “the couple” during a rain storm, who stole the radio from their Honda, and were in the process of stealing the stickers from another of their cars but got spooked and fled, leaving a knife used to peel the decals on the dash. The victims were reluctant to call the officers even tho we tried to encourage them to report the theft. They have physical proof tying them to the crime.
Two days later, While cutting the front lawn, I got to watch “the couple” install a radio into THEIR Honda. The Victim came home at the same time and also got to watch their radio being “reinstalled” in its new home.
The victims live across the street, with a fenced-in front yard if you wish to interview them - ask about the theft of the radio, stickers, and don’t forget - ask them about the “cellphone” too. I believe they have such clear evidence they could convict “the couple” with, yet they do nothing but fume angrily.
The car with the new HOT radio is regularly parked across the street in the driveway of a house for sale, a white Honda with no county or stats decals, and the tag expires in 3 days. Feel free to drive by, get photos and post them and call the car in Don’t for get to get a few pictures of the White van with the Texas tags (has a Gnome on the spare tire) - I think all the dated decals are gone.
If you are there taking pictures and they (”the couple”) come out, his name is [redacted], and I forgot her name, but the tear drop tattoo under her eye is the giveaway. [Ed note: this may be consistent with MS-13 tattoos] Maybe you want to talk to her and ask “the couple” why she left her girls back in Texas….
The “ranch” next door has about 4 to 6 chickens now - I saw and photographed the critters yesterday evening. Look like young ones are about 12″ tall or simply another variety.
Isn’t it nice that the Prince William County Police Department has been so responsive to these reports of criminal behavior? Let’s see here — there have been zoning complaints, reports of theft, and this is still going on?
