The Manassas City Police are searching for Sebastian Cortez Hernandez who they believe is the person who shot and killed Omar Florencio-Vazquez on May 31 in the 9600 block of Grant Avenue, according to the MJM. The suspect reportedly goes by the nickname of “Cebolla”(meaning “onion”), which added to the information previously released that this suspect was in a group of approximately ten persons who had previously assaulted the suspect and in the night in question ran him down and killed him, looks a whole lot like gang activity.
Hernandez, also known as “Onion” or “Cebolla,” was born in 1978 or 1982. He is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 140 to 150 pounds. His last known address was 9773 Bragg Lane in Manassas, the release stated.
Manassas City police ask that anyone with information call 703-257-8000 or 703-257-8044.
Let’s hope we find this individual quickly and bring him to justice.

It turns out that Hernandez and two other suspects were arrested in Connecticut last night. And guess what, Hernandez was in the country illegally, and he had been deported in 2003. Isn’t that just dandy.
