Driving liberals, dhimmis and illegal alien apologists absolutely insane since 2005...

Another “Hard Working” Day Laborer

By Greg L | 9 June 2008 | Fairfax County, Crime | 18 Comments

It looks like someone else learned about the pitfalls of hiring day laborers, by the looks of this entry in the Town of Vienna Weekly Crime Report:

Grand Larceny

Location: 900 block Hillcrest Dr., S.W.
Date/Time: 9 a.m. May 30
Details: A resident of a house picked up two men at a convenience store to help him move to a new house and later discovered a computer, watch, and other items missing from a bedroom closet.

Of course this isn’t as bad as the case when a Montgomery County man picked up an illegal alien day laborer in Annandale, brought him to his house, later discovered that this “hard worker” was hard at work ripping him off, and was stabbed to death for his trouble.  The body of Hak Bong Kim was found so badly burned a day later, that police couldn’t identify whether the murder victim was male or female.

When you pick up a day laborer, you have no idea what you might be getting in to.

Isn’t it interesting that the perpetrator in the Montgomery County murder and the “gentleman” being sent by the UN to grace our county with his illustrious presence share the same name (Bustamante). I wonder if they’re related?

as to the topic at hand, you hire people off a street corner to help move your property, you can’t be surprised when those illegal people off the street corner help themselves to your valuables. bottom line, you get what you pay for.

off topic….AWC, never thought of that. maybe the UN rapourter (or whatever his title is!) is coming to visit his kin on the UN nickle! which actually is OUR nickle, since we sink so much cash into the UN.

    With HUMOR,

This reminds me of my favorite COPS episode when a lady ( who LATER confessed that she was a prostitute when asked by the police) called the police for theft when she tried to purchase crack and ended up with drywall.

Thanks for shedding some light on crime in Vienna. I hope that this will be a lesson to others who may consider hiring day laborers.

FYI, the Town of Vienna only publishes a very small amount of the crime that goes on here. There WAY more going on here crime-wise than the town lets on.

    Miracles never cease!

President Bush has signed an executive order requiring contractors and others who do business with the federal government to make sure their employees can legally work in the U.S.

So these people are hiring complete strangers- who loiter outside a 7-11- and allow them into their houses?

Seems to me like a simple case of “You get what you pay for.”

Guy picks up a day laborer.

Guy gets robbed by said day laborer.

    Irony? Yes.

    Funny? Even more so.

    Karma? You betcha!

I can laugh at this one. The case a few months ago, where a day laborer molested the daughter of the guy who picked him up, made me want to vomit. This is what really scares me. You have people who are either so cheap, or so bleedin’-heart that they use day laborers, and in doing so endanger their children. Very hard lesson to learn.

Too bad Gary Jacobsen didn’t hire guys like these.

Now, now, we all know that these poor people are here only to earn a living so they can support their families south of the border. The illegal population are law abiding, hard working peoples. I know, I heard it on TV and read it in the paper so it must be true!

I bet you just make this stories up to generate hate….

(please note all the total sarcasm in this message)

Sorry, no compassion for this man. Who in their right mind
would pick up a total stranger and even put them in their car,
much less take them to their house!?

No thoughts on the probability that this person can’t understand
you, can’t read English, and doesn’t give two $#@%’s about
    you and your precious family?

Ya think the homeowner feels he got a great deal for the price?

  12. madmom said on 10 Jun 2008 at 1:12 pm:

BTW, good luck finding these two! Oh well…..

  13. madmom said on 10 Jun 2008 at 1:15 pm:

When are the PWC police gonna crack down on these guys
hanging out period? I don’t care if it’s private property,
    public property, whatever.

Get it going, Chief Deane. No more of this insanity in
    our neighborhoods.

When jobs are scarce and the economy is taking a dump, crime increases. If we rounded ‘em up and shipped ‘em out, they wouldn’t be here to steal, rob, rape, murder, drive drunk, etc.

  15. Karen G. said on 11 Jun 2008 at 1:50 am:

Okay very scary. What is more scary is that you guys would hire a stranger from the street that is “legal” bring him to your house and trust him.

Legal or Illegal I would never bring a stranger from the street to help me move. It is dangerous.

Hire a company to move your stuff.

    DUH!!!!

Read and find out how Kalifornia students think illegal immigration equals slavery. It’s amazing that people think this way. Kalifornia really needs to secede. I won’t miss them.

Karen G.- Anyone would be crazy to hire an illegal alien or a legal person off of the streets and bring them to their homes. However, when you do this with an illegal alien, you are commiting a felony.
