Gerry Connolly And al-Qaeda
By Greg L | 13 June 2008 | Gerry Connolly, Fairfax County, US Congress | 14 Comments
Michelle Malkin remains hot on the trail of Gerry Connolly and his support of the Islamic Saudi Academy that leases space from Fairfax County. Not only is this school teaching students that it’s OK to murder women who cheat on their husbands and that jews are responsible for the decline of Islamic influence in the world, but they seem to be doing a really bang-up job of it. They’re doing such a good job in fact that the school’s 1999 valedictorian Abu Ali recently had his sentence of thirty years in federal prison for being a member of al-Qaeda upheld by the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals.
This is what Gerry Connolly is actively supporting, folks. People that openly declare their allegiance to Hamas and Hezbollah. Schools that indoctrinate people in an islamofascist ideology such that they join terrorist organizations and have meetings with Zubayr Al-Rimi, al Qaeda’s #2 man in Saudi Arabia, and this is just what he’s done as Chairman of the Fairfax Board of County Supervisors. Can anyone imagine what would happen if this guy managed to become a United States Congressman?
The judgement of this man is utterly beyond abysmal. His active support of organizations that harass women who report sexual abuse, support for organizations with clear ties to terrorism, and his steadfast devotion to the Islamic Saudi Academy which produces al-Qaeda adherents absolutely disqualifies him from holding elected office. It’s bad enough that Connolly abuses his authority in order to obtain special treatment from the Fairfax Police, prevents his constituents from exercising their First Amendment rights, has orchestrated a fraud that artificially inflated residential real estate taxes, hobbled law enforcement efforts to catch internet sex predators, and has been thoroughly corrupted by commercial development interests.
Support for terrorism is absolutely over the line.

If you aren’t careful Greg…Gerry might get “fed up”, blow a filing date, and blame you for distracting him. Then he’ll hire Faisil Gill to represent him in a slander suit.
Oh, my!
Malicious Michelle Malkin, the Vicious Vixen, has cast her spell over Greg. Sounds as if Greg’s into a Friday afternoon orgasm of sexual abuse, harassment of women, hobbled law enforcement, terrorists organizations, “ok to murder women who cheat on their husbands”, orchestrated real estate fraud .
“This is what Gerry Connolly is actively supporting, folks.”
If you didn’t know this before, your sure know it now. Get the facts from the horses mouth. If Greg says so, it IS so!
I think she’s AWESOME!
She actually does her homework and knows what she is talking about.
Jose A. Rodriguez, an illegal alien kills 6 year old. “According to police, Rodriguez has several traffic-related convictions, including one for driving while intoxicated. He has convictions for driving while intoxicated, speeding, failure to obey a traffic sign and property damage accidents, said West Allis Police Chief Michael Jungbluth.”

Like my uncle Tito used to say, better to get facts from the horse’s mouth than the horse’s a$$. I think Krusty has been listening to the wrong end of the donkey all these years! That explains a lot. She thought the donkey was asleep, because it kept on snoring!!!!
Anyone think Malkin should perhaps be approached by John McCain’s campaign for some PR counsel? I do.
Krutis, do I detect a bit of jelousy? Michelle is a fox!
She’s a non-vip

Darn toot’n. Not just a BIT of jealousy. She is GORGEOUS! Who wouldn’t want her looks?!?
However, packaging isn’t everything.
Ohhhhhh, but she has far more than “packaging.” Of course you wouldn’t like her; she’s a dedicated and loyal America — not a liberal, “blame America first,” socialist. She is also very eloquent and besides, SHE is one smart cookie!
I did some research into Islamic organizations and schools in VA and came up with 47. The Islamic Saudi Academy is just one of many in Northern VA.

Further research shows that Hyland (D-Mount Vernon) “…..reviewed the academy’s materials with the help of an Arabic translator. After Hyland found no reason for serious concern, he and other board members agreed.”
As Hyland freely admits he cannot read or write Arabic, we must rely on his selection of translator and hope the text was translated verbatim and not “interpreted” to mean something the Board could handle to renew the lease.
But what have been a more compelling argument to allow the school to remain open is the price tag that comes with the lease.
“There also are monetary concerns. The school will pay Fairfax County $2.2 million for the lease of the property. The school occupies the site of the former Walt Whitman Intermediate School at 8333 Richmond Hwy. in Fairfax.
The board granted the school a one-year lease extension and agreed the academy could ask for two more one-year extensions.”
According to the WaPo article, Civic Associations in the area testified in support of the lease agreement, but which ones were not disclosed.

===========
Concern is not that a private school has asked that the lease be renewed. The concern is what the schools are teaching. Even home schools have to undergo a rigid curriculum review an dapproval by the county - why is the county just now reviewing the curriculum in these schools.
If this were a home school or other religious school, charges like this would be investigated “to the fullest extent of the law” by a party other than the local Board of Supervisor and his personally selected translator.
Further, if the investigation uncovered teachings that are not in compliance with VA and US law, the schools would have been ordered to change their curriculum (and subject to periodic inspections) or closed.
Connolly is the Board Supervisor. He should have recognized that the findings of one Supervisor’s personally selected translator is not sufficient to dispell concerns and extend the lease for this, and other Islamic schools in the area.
Michelle has beauty AND brains. Lefties hate her because she is so effective.
