Illegal Aliens Nabbed In Staunton

The NewsVirginian.com is reporting on the arrest of four illegal aliens for forgery and identity theft and the seizure of 100 employee files at Don Juan’s restaurant in Staunton, Virginia on June 7th. When these illegal aliens falsified their documents in order to obtain employment, they used the Social Security Numbers of actual U.S. Citizens, demonstrating that once again that illegal immigration is hardly a victim-less crime.
Norberto Reguldo-Leon, 37, of Roanoke; Pedro Calderon-Frias, 23, of Waynesboro; and Jorge A. Rodriguez-Perez, 27, of Roanoke, were arrested Friday on charges of felony forgery of public records, felony uttering of public records and misdemeanor identity theft, Simmons said. Hernanadez, who has been in custody since last month’s traffic stop, is facing the same charges, as are the 10 other employees, Simmons said. Additional tax fraud charges are pending, he said.
Locating the other employees could be difficult, Simmons said.
“All have stolen Social Security numbers and credentials…” he said. “There is no real ability to trace their true identity. They start from scratch and move on.”
Juan Lopez-Aguirre, 44, owner of the two Don Juan’s restaurants, was sentenced in May to eight years and four months in prison for selling more than $200,000 in methamphetamine. Lopez-Aguirre was the middleman in a series of large drug deals between 2005 and last year, including a deal with a police informant in the El Puerto Mexican Restaurant parking lot in Waynesboro. That deal sparked others with the informant as police scrutiny intensified.
The rampant identity theft that illegal aliens are responsible for has ruined the lives of countless American citizens, particularly harming children who don’t learn that their credit history has been trashed for years until they apply for a college loan. Where is the compassion for that innocent child whose chance to attend college has been destroyed because an illegal alien stole his identity in order to wash dishes at a restaurant run by a convicted drug dealer?

And your stepping up of catch and deporting illegal aliens is very much appreciated President Bush.& Thank You ICE. If you do better I just might not vote Independant and vote republican. Come back to the rule of law and quit the subversive action of ignoring the rule of law on immigration enforcement. The rest is up to you how hard you work on getting illegal aliens out of this country.I will be watching till November. Then I just might vote McCain if he comes back to the conservative republican party base and enforce our immigration laws otherwise I will vote independant and vote for Chuck Baldwin in the Constitution Party and leave the two parties behind. Doesn’t the IRS know when there may be an issue, like when 30 some people are using the same SSN? Why doesn’t the goverment take ID theft like this seriously? Is it because it just contributes that much more into the social security? Something needs to change here.
We have the El Rodeo underground railroad in SW VA. They just filter those folks from one restaurant to another. Bring them in by the truck load, put them up 30 to a house. This is a nation wide chain. I have reported them to ICE but, haven’t seen anything about it yet.
Juan’s twin brother in Adelphi will be open for business tomorrow. Now I’m not going to say Juan has a business lisence, or is legally allowed to cook and sell tacos from a residential home. But after all that is beside the point.
