When I went to the D.C. gay pride festival, I saw the crowds cheer the Police and other public servants. You know, you might have a point. I do believe that if forced to spend a significant amount of time with you, a man could be driven to become gay. On the flip side, a lesbian forced into the same situation, might be driven to go straight. This may bear further exploration. You up for it Krutis?

The truth is that 1) homosexuality is a deviant behavior; 2) there is a difference between diversity and sin, and ; 3) there is no physical impairment that causes homosexuality, as is the case with sterility.

Yes, my sins have been forgiven. But, there is nothing special about me. All are equally able to receive forgivness through Jesus Christ. Jesus loves us all, even those that are practicing this deviant behavior. And he offers healing and forgiveness to everyone.

There has been no conclusive study that proves homosexuality is genetic. Special interests groups pressured medical associations to change their definitions, but this was not the result of any in depth study. Other researchers, attempting to prove a pre-existing belief, state they have seen brain differences between straight and gay persons. This does not prove anything, as we know little to nothing about the function of the human brain.

I am a flawed creature, and by the grace of Jesus Christ my sins have been forgiven. So yes, in Christ I have been made perfect. I suggest that you turn your life over to him too, and ask that your sins be forgiven.

Do you honestly beleive that, if you ask someone why they are living in a deviant manner, they will give you a truthful answer? It’s much easier to blame it on genetics-it provides folks with an easy excuse to avoid facing the truth. It’s also easier for family members to blame the deviancy of a relative on genetics, rather than the personal choice that has been made.

There are probably many people who had a homosexual thought when they were seven, but they did not conclude that made them homosexual. Some people are tempted with thoughts like this their entire life, just like alcoholics are tempted to drink, gamblers want to place a bet, and compulsive eaters want to snack. But you don’t succumb to the temptation.

As a biologist, I confirm your statement about the variety in nature. There are diffent skin colors, different eye colors, shapes, and sizes. God has given his creation a beauty of diversity. However, homosexuality is not included in that diversity. Life could not sustain itself if that were the case.

I understand my opinion is not popular, and it angers people like you. It won’t sway me from speaking the truth, and asking you to honestly contemplate this issue and pray over it. Hate the sin, love the sinner. You can still love someone and condemn the actions that they decide to take.

What I find mildly amusing is people (some who make a loud noise against gays) often work beside them for years, without ever even knowing it. Some even call them “friend.”

People said the same thing about most serial killers as well. You will often hear the same remarks spoken concerning child molesters, so you may want to chose another defense. It’s interesting that we justify certin acts because they are done by “nice people”, and we don’t have to see them. Most deviants hide their acts so that they CAN function in society. Do you think anyone would have a job if they solicited sex in the company bathroom, or wore feathers and leather to work?

I don’t make a loud noise about gays, but I do follow the teachings of my faith, as well as the natural truth that we all can see if we block out the noise of political correctness. Homosexuality is an aberration in nature; it does not exist beyond isolated examples by “scientists” eager to provide a justification. In fact, the number of homosexuals in our society is always overstated by the media. The ten percent figure that was quoted in a 1970’s study (by Masters and Johnson I beleive?) is the number that is usually referenced in any story about gays. If I am correct, that study has been largely debunked, and other studies have shown that less than five percent of society is homosexual.

No society has survived that has openly embraced this deviancy. The Greeks, Spartans, and Romans have all perished. Once the tapestry of morality begins to unravel in a society, there is no stopping the process. Moral relativism begins to take over, and there is no longer anything left that is taboo.

I love the sinner, but hate the sin. I probably do have friends that are gay and I don’t know it. But that doesn’t justify their actions in any way.

As you choose. The truth is, there are extroverts in every group. The more outlandish they are, the larger the group appears.
