DNC Protests Pics

The local folks that seem so enamored of illegal aliens and Mexicans Without Borders in particular decided to stage a few activities during the Democratic National Convention and helpfully shared a few photos that they seem to be rather proud of. You gotta love it when the radicals want to boast.
First, there’s the pre-protest rally, complete with a tribute to their marxist-anarchist ideological heritage.
Then, the obligatory reference to peace when they arrive in Colorado, in somewhat violent terms.
Complete with calls to stop enforcing our laws, which is admittedly what anarchists want.
As you can see above.
The rally also featured calls to free a convicted cop killer, who I seem to recall received the death penalty about a year ago. Curiously, threats like these don’t seem to be taken very seriously.
Leading to the following exhortation,
and ridiculous assertions that it wasn’t islamic terrorists who killed thousands of Americans in 2001, which is an awfully inconvenient fact for these folks to deal with.
And no protest is complete without a demand that perverts get their recognition.
Now these folks are bound to the Republican National Convention. Let’s see just how bold these knucleheads can be around a bunch of NRA members.

Why would they behave differently around NRA members?
[Ed note: NRA members might have concealed carry permits, and carry those icky guns that just might jump out of their holsters of their own volition and empty multiple magazines into folks chanting “Protesting is patriotic”. Given their well-documented fear of these inanimate objects, I’d be interested to see if they’ll willingly allow themselves to be in close proximity to firearms — especially if they’re black and esthetically sub-optimized.]

I lived on Capitol Hill back in the early 70’s and actually knew
people just like this. For the most part, they were “trust fund
kids” who didnt have to worry about a job. In one particular
case, a guys parents sent him a check every week just to get
him out of the house and away from them. Sad.

My personal opinion about the two major political parties insofar as what they do for the American citiizenry, actuall I should say for what they don’t do, is that there isn’t a dimes worth of difference between the two. I believe they actually conspire to screw Americans every chance they get. Pelosi and the Democrats controled both houses for two years and could have stopped everything the Bush Republicans have been doing. Why didn’t she? Because she is in with them. Period.

I saw some of them on C-SPAN this evening. You all are being far too kind in describing the physical appearance of the protesters. LOL Interestingly enough, one of their “speakers” was a guy named “Sami Rasouli.” So I was thinking, this CAN’T be the guy running for a Congressional seat in Virginia, right?

Thanks for answering my question (Comment No. 1). Very revealing, I fear. It tends to confirm several concerns I have about attitudes and discernment around here. Interesting to see blacks joining the Latinos as a butt of ridicule and violent fantasy. I think that had been kept fairly much under the radar on this site until now.
A few quick points: Most delegates wouldn’t have Minnesota CC permits, I wouldn’t think. Even if they did, I doubt that attendees at the convention are being allowed to pack heat. Secondly, NRA members shouldn’t be members (or even gunowners) if they have itchy trigger fingers (especially if they get itchy around opposing political views or around people they happen not to like). I assume no one here thinks that way. If they do, I suggest they surrender their weapon to the nearest police station before going to work this morning. Third, as for weapons that “jump out” and spontaneously discharge into people of unpopular political persuasions, I’ve been telling folks for many years that weapons in the hands of competent, well-trained owners don’t spontaneously discharge. Fourth, that someone has goofy political views AND is black or physically unattractive shouldn’t heighten their vulnerability to spontaneous weapons discharges at the hands of Concealed Carry Permit holders. Fifth, if that is an editor’s idea of a joke, he should get his sense of humor recalibrated or Greg should can him (especially if that was Greg).

So these leftards have the right to attack CUB SCOUTS?!? My son is a Cub Scout, and as far as I am concerned, any sicko who attempts these kinds of attacks becomes “fair game.” Clearly, the police or concerned citizens need to be guarding the highway overpasses/underpasses of the Twin Cities area.
Just so you know, I do not believe in terminating the lives of or imprisoning those who engage in peaceful protest (as traitorous as I think some of these freaks are). However, when they break the law or threaten the physical safety of others, it is a different game entirely.

Nova Scout, I think Greg was talking about a “black” concealed weapon, not black people. I believe you misread him. Though the editor’s note is a bit on the idle threat side, and un-called for, the reality is most people who carry concealed weapons are “trained” in their use and trained to understand the law in their use, in order to get a concealed permit. Many are ex-military (most I know are marines and a few army officers) and are carrying them for self-protection from criminals and violent idiots with politically militant criminal records, and are members of the political criminalization of the once foreign US social infrastructure similar to other countries with international mafias and street gangs running amuk in certain US neighborhoods. These people carry these self-protection devices, because they see an increasing failure of their local law enforcement officers to enforce the law and protect the majority population in the Democracy, from those trying to undermine it and turn it into a third world country. They carry these concealed weapons now (and many have started only in the last 5 years, who otherwise would not have started carrying permits) because they see the increase in violence, aggression, and total lack of concern for obeying law that is increasingly rising in our society, as a result of the large influx of people who care little for laws and rules and come from countries where corrupted politicians are the norm, social corruption is the norm, and the local police are paid to ignore law breakers in their own countries.

I now know why those press members got arrested. Some people think they can ignore directives from law enforcement officers now, because they think they have political immunity to obeying the police. What idiots!
When you get in a law officer’s face, charge past him, and make indignant aggressive statements that are obviously intended to incite aggression as a result of non-compliance of police directives, you are going to get treated the same way those idiots in “Jail” are going to get treated when they resist arrest and start mouthing off, when they are told to do something like, get on the pavement.
News people are not immune from stupidity, or arrogance.
Michael: as a conservative gunowner, I agree with much of what you say. That’s why I found it odd that the Editor’s note suggested that NRA members were prone to having weapons spontaneously discharge full clips into political protestors. That has not been my experience. If the note meant to imply that the weapons were black, not the protesters, then the writer is no more qualified to write the English language than he/she is to carry a weapon. In any event, I can’t imagine what the color of the weapon has to do with anything in the context of the Note.
