None of US will ever forget that it was Osama Bin Laden who attacked us on 9/11....however, Sodam Insane was no where near and could not even launch a successful scud missle attack to Israel since most crashed in the Negev Desert. Say goodbye to the mismanaged war of the Bush Cheney era!!!

1-American, every last one of the 9/11 hijackers was an illegal alien. All lied on their visa applications - When you provide false information in order to obtain a travel visa, commit fraud to gain a visa, and/or overstay a visa ... that makes you an illegal alien.

And 8 of the 19 hijackers were registered to vote!

PC (Political Corruption-Capitulation-Convenience-Connivance) is going to be our end. How do some observe 9/11? By threatening a bigger, better version in our future:

And remember 4 of the 9/11 monsters were illegally in OUR country. That is why many people are fighting so hard against illegal immigration.

Bridget it is so sad to hear stories like yours and they need to be told. Some people do forget what it was like on 9/11. Some were to young to understand and are now old enough to know what it was like.

I am very offended that our government still has not closed the loopholes and the border that allowed this to happen in the first place.

HEADS UP ALL...

102 Minutes that changed America. Airing again on Sunday, Sept. 14 at 8pm:

http://www.history.com/minisites/9-11

On the morning of 9/11 2001, my youngest son, 10 at the time, was on a school bus headed for DC and a Smithsonian Museum field trip. Minutes after the plane struck the Pentagon, his bus, along with other traffic, was diverted away from DC ... and had to pass directly in front of the impact sight. For a few stunning moments he, along with the bus driver and all the other students had nothing but the Pentagon parking lot between them and the devastation. He will live with that picture, that memory, for the rest of his life. I will never forget the look on his bus driver's face when he apologized for not being able to shield the children from that view. To say the man was torn up doesn't come close.

One brother of mine was driving to work, north on I 278 in Brooklyn, NY, which runs parallel to the East river. He had a clear view of the Manhatten skyline ... the Twin Towers billowing smoke. He later found every surface in his apartment covered in a fine white dust ... the dust and ashes of the dead settled on his sheets, books, plants, pets, sofa.... For weeks following the falling of the towers, he and his wife would find and collect that powder. Sacred, sorrowfull stuff.

Another brother awoke early on that morning in Connecticut ... with three surgeries scheduled before noon. Many of the medical staff from his hospital were hurriedly transported by helicoper to lower Manhatten to aid the injured.

What haunts him to this day is the sight of countless medical personel, waiting at the ready, for patients who never arrived.

We will never forget the impact and aftermath of 9/11. We will forever mourn our dead and honor their memories by saying never surrender.

Yes, thank you Greg for posting this thread and giving us voice.

We are all 9/11 families.

Thank you Greg for posting this thread. I wanted to post earlier but have been so busy. Just want to say that the other blog didn't even mention 9-11. They are so consumed with hate they didn't even tak time to to remember the victims of the most horrific day in American history.

God bless America and the families of 9-11.

September 12, 2008Did Obama diss a firefighter, construction worker, and the memorial ? (video)Topics: Political News and commentaries

One of Michelle Malkin's readers noticed that, in this video of the 9/11 ceremonies in New York, Barack Obama avoids shaking hands with a firefighter and a construction worker at the site (HT - The Other McCain). And as Richard noted yesterday, just a few seconds further in the video Obama can be seen just tossing his rose on the memorial while Cindy and John McCain reverently place theirs on the memorial:

And while we're on the topic, did anyone see Michelle Obama anywhere near the memorial events yesterday?

As Richard said here, yes, I also question Barack Obama's patriotism (actually, both Obama's). This isn't a smear, it's a valid concern for me as a voter and someone who risks his life everyday for his country - voluntarily. So tell me what Obama has done for my country and I'll then think about giving him credit where it's due. And while you're at it, you can skip that socialist-community organizer crap - that doesn't fly among real people.

Update: Michelle Malkin also notices the diss: Ground Zero etiquette: A tale of two roses.

It's a small gesture, but gestures matter at the hallowed grave site of so many murdered innocent Americans.

Barack Obama flings a memorial rose at Ground Zero like he's a kid tossing pennies into a fountain at the shopping mall -- or a spectator tossing flowers at a bullfight.

He doesn't know what he's doing.

(Clueless NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg copies him.)

By contrast, John McCain and his wife kneel and gently, somberly, place their roses down at the foot of the 9/11 tribute.

Tons of you e-mailed me about this. Here's the vid for the rest of you who didn't see it. It's a telling cultural and generational distinction between these two men vying to be commander-in-chief of our nation:

And there's this from one of Michelle Malkin's readers:

Reader Joe W. also notices: "The first 30 seconds showed that Obama could not take the time to shake hands with the uniformed firemen (John McCain took the time) nor the construction worker with the American flag hardhat...He was painfully uncomfortable at this ceremony!"
It is worth noting, however, that Obama did shake hands during the rest of the ceremony.

It's important to understand that the memorial area is considered hallowed ground. Clearly what we are seeing from Barack Obama is less than acceptable in a leader.

Barack Obama as America's President and Commander in Chief? Borrowing an expression from Hillary, "No way, no how, no bama"!

Thanks for posting that link to the tribute of our flag.

Greg,

Thanks for banning the idiot. I normally will read most posts, free speech and all that, but it went over the edge of even what a submariner could put up with and we're used to putting up with all kinds of stuff while underway trapped in a steel tube for 75 days at a whack.

Thanks for posting the video and remembering those we lost, and remembering those broken lives left behind.

Not to sound cheesy like a late-night radio station, but I dedicated three pieces to all of 9/11 over at my site (okay, technically one was written for Flight 93, but bear with me...been an emotional day). Feel free to stop by and listen to the links.

I have been one of the ones hitting the ignore button with INA, but for the person, and I use that term lightly, to sit on this particular post and spill his hateful venom has gone too far. While I never thought I would ever support banning someone from posting, I would fully support banning his IP address from posting ever again and then deleting his post whenever he tries to post again. You are a sick individual that will one day face the consequences of your hateful thinking. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that you are really some snot nosed punk just on here to stir up s#*t. You have picked the wrong subject to spill your hatred. Greg, again, I would usually never support such a tactic, but if there is a way to out whoever this is, please do so.

INA is now banned. Anyone who would use a tribute to the victims of 9-11 as an opportunity to make racist remarks like this is a piece of garbage. I'm done with this.

He was amusing for a while, and did great harm to his political cause, but this is beyond going over the line. What a heartless, evil piece of psychotic trash...

Love me some Johnny Cash

I say NEVER FORGET but never stop ASKING WHY and don't settle out of FEAR.

"He that would live in peace and at ease, must not speak all he knows nor judge all he sees"

"But in this world nothing can be said to be certain, except death and taxes."

"Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety"

FREEDOM is a FIGHT each and everyday. Be well rounded ( I know I am...lol-fat joke;) )
