Maureen - I completely agree with you. I’ve never read so much hate. Bringing children and wives onto their hate blog is unacceptable!

The anti people have gone too far this time. Their HATE blog has gone over the top.

They continually spew hateful things at those who disagree with their views. They attack Corey Stewart and his wife. They have even brought John Stirrups daughter into their hateful rantings.

They said of BVBL, “If it’s on your blog, you own it” So Alana all of the hateful things that have been said about individuals and HSM are yours to own!

I’m sorry Mr/Ms Help, you’re on the wrong side of this issue.

In addition to insensitive remarks about the Hispanic community, Mr. Duecaster’s writings have included offensive remarks concerning Muslims, the Catholic Church, people of color and the list goes on and on.

In my view, Mr. Duecaster’s behavior is a poor model for civic participation, one we should not reward or invite others to emulate.

Additionally, it sends the wrong kind of message for a county that seeks to remove the conflict and intolerance that threatens our economic future.

I ask you to exercise your vote to request a more suitable representative of Prince William County government, and the good people it has sworn to serve.

Duecaster currently serves in the position of Secretary at Help Save Manassas, an organization which has been designated a ‘Nativist’ organization by the Southern Poverty Law Center and recently has been specifically singled out by the Anti-Defamation League as an extremist organization on their list as well.

There is a two-word answer: Frank Principi and his “Juarez North,” aka Woodbridge.

Of course, we need more conviction and passion from most of the remaining supervisors, but it will come with time — if not before, after the election.

I did want to comment on Black Saint’s post at 13 September 2008 at 8:32am. You are honing in on something here that many of us are distracted by other detail and haven’t really thought enough about. Recently saw a documentary called “Silver or Lead” which was disturbing on so many levels but the drug cartels are demanding and commanding much from our American politicians. We have a few good men of strength and character on the national level and a few good men on our local levels. It is our civic duty to rally around those few good men when they are getting throttled for standing against narco terriorism and standing up for the rule of law. And ask ourselves if we were standing in their shoes what would we choose……..silver(the $$ payoff) or lead(the bullets)?

I join the applaud for our local officials in the city and the county who have bravely stood strong against the winds of opposition and continue to solidly stand straight and do the job they took an oath to do. To the entire PWBOCS
I say this; it was an impressive moment when you unanimously voted to approve the rule of law resolution. There was not only strength in your voice but unity. Who or what has gotten to several of you since that brave decision to agree together as one?
