Turnabout is fair play, but what the BOCS did tonight was NOT. Mike May and Frank Principi should have made their appointments known last week. Instead they announced them tonight and the board changed the regular process and voted on their appointments at the same meeting. Marty Nohe made the suggestions that the board should go ahead and vote on the new appointees at this meeting because most of the people mentioned were “well known”.

Principi appointed Hilda Barg, Daniel Taber & Sharon Pandak. Mike May appointed Carlos Castro and Chris Nohe (Marty Nohe’s wife-who obviously does not live in Mike May’s district)

The public will not have a chance to review their resumes nor will they have a chance for public comments or to make tapes, or gather any and all statements they have ever said, or not said. The public also will not be able to try to figure out which blog name they blog under and then go to the board meeting and read all the statements.

I would suggest that any dissenters had best double think any nominations that THEY make in the future…

Alanna Almeda said HSM got designated as an extremist group by ADL. Funny, nothing in the ADL characterizes HSM that way. Nice big fat lie, fat broad.

Elena Schlossberg-Kunkel waxed poetic about the days when she would personally attack Supervisor Covington instead of personally attacking Robert. “Those were the days”, she remarked. Perhaps so, but I guess all that’s really changed is the target of her personal atacks, not that she’s actually behaving much differently.

Dexter Fox, a Manassas City resident blathered on for some time about how Unity In The Community just wants us to hold hands and sing Kum Bay Yah. Boring as usual. I think Jenkins fell asleep.

Finally, Eric Byler made a special video of Robert at citizens time. I’ll bet the editing is a real hoot, especially since he claims Robert is somehow “in love with fear”.

Seems like the whole effort fell flat. I doubt the supervisors bought this garbage, although with Frank Principi, you can never be sure.

KG Is far from being nice, she is likely the most vile and horrible person on that other site next to elena and allana. Where the other two use stealthy tactics to get there apologist feelings across, she goes right for the front door. she doesnt camouflage anything, she calls it being “blunt” however she’s just not a nice person. I call them how I see it, but I can tell you I’ve got lots of company on the side of people who dont really care for her.

as for the dixie bones place, why would I go to a place that exists on an e-mail that elena sent? it can only mean that the addresses dont support anything that I do, which means as a consumer I can think with the almighty dollar and choose not to eat there. I really love the food, it’s really good..but sometimes you gotta sacrifice something for what you really believe.
