Driving liberals, dhimmis and illegal alien apologists absolutely insane since 2005...

GOTV For Illegal Aliens

By Greg L | 2 October 2008 | Illegal Aliens, Virginia Politics, Crime | 4 Comments

Do you wonder whether those anecdotal reports of illegal aliens fraudulently registering to vote had any credibility?  Well, here’s another data point for you, which looks a whole lot like a ‘Get Out The Vote’ effort targeting illegal aliens:

A series of new Spanish-language radio ads will begin airing in the Washington metro area to urge residents to “move forward and vote.”

The New Policy Institute, an affiliate of the NDN progressive think tank and advocacy organization, has been airing in Nevada and Colorado. The Washington area ads start tomorrow.

So let’s have a look at one of those ads:

English:
MAN: How far have we gone?
WOMAN: We’ve made the US our home for years, if not generations.
MAN: We became the largest minority at the dawn of the XXI century.
WOMAN: Not too long ago, we went out to the streets throughout the country demanding respect and justice.
MAN: Yes, we have come really far… And this year we can go even farther.
WOMAN: Move forward and vote.
Message paid by Adelante, NPI and The Tides Center.

This whole “going out in the streets” bit wasn’t demanding “respect” and “justice”, what they were demanding was that Congress provide illegal aliens with amnesty.  Respect is not to be gained with mobs marching around with pictures of Emiliano Zapata under the banner of groups like “Mexicans Without Borders”, and amnesty for people who break the law is hardly “justice”.

So who might the “we” be here?  Here’s a few of them:

Sure, there’s a few self-loathing guilt-ridden liberals who took a break from their hard work on behalf of the Voluntary Human Extinction Movement to attend these marches, but in these marches the only English spoken was pretty much for the benefit of television cameras.  The marchers were illegal aliens, demanding American citizens accommodate their need to evade the consequences of their unlawful behavior, and calling everyone that refused to do so a racist.  That action so outraged the American public that it fueled a backlash that still resonates today.

These ads, to the extent they’re calling for these marchers to march into the voting booth, are facilitating and encouraging voter fraud.

Given that the Tides Center (and two organizations it founded) is behind this, that hardly comes as a surprise.  The Tides Center, an entity of the Theresa Heinz-Kerry funded Tides Foundation is about as left as you can get.

Teresa Heinz Kerry has financed the secretive Tides Foundation to the tune of more than $4 million over the years. The Tides Foundation, a “charity” established in 1976 by antiwar leftist activist Drummond Pike, distributes millions of dollars in grants every year to political organizations advocating far-Left causes. The Tides Foundation and its closely allied Tides Center, which was spun off from the Foundation in 1996 but run by Drummond Pike, distributed nearly $66 million in grants in 2002 alone. In all, Tides has distributed more than $300 million for the Left. These funds went to rabid antiwar demonstrators, anti-trade demonstrators, domestic Islamist organizations, pro-terrorists legal groups, environmentalists, abortion partisans, extremist homosexual activists and open borders advocates.

Would these folks be interested in ensuring that illegal aliens fraudulently vote for Barack Obama next month?  I wouldn’t put it past them.  When I hear that they’re encouraging marchers from 2006 protests by illegal aliens to vote in this election, it really starts to look like they’re inciting voter fraud.

Felons, prison inmates and illegals now devalue and dillute the collective weight of our votes, not to mention our incentive to even bother. Is this a great country or what?

I doubt strongly that illegal aliens vote in anything other than miniscule numbers. Like illegal immigration, one’s too many and reflects the decrepitude of the current immigration and voter registration systems. But I still doubt this is a problem that measurably affects any elections, particularly at the federal level. Anyone have any numbers to offer? The logic chain is more than a little stretched by going from Spanish language get out the vote ads to the idea that there are legions of illegal immigrants being mobilized to swarm the polls.

You know, NoVA Scout, I kind of doubt that too. I take my opinion from having watched the myriad disappearing acts when the Federal census taker came around in 2000 and again when the school census was taken in Loudoun County this year. On the other hand, in places like Cook County and LA County….????

The following are from an article dated 2004 but im sure not much has changed since. Other than maby our awarness that this is going on around us and not much has been done.

“Even though there are an estimated 8 to 15 million illegal aliens now living in the United States, not one state in the Union requires proof of citizenship to register to vote.”

“Florida Secretary of State Glenda Hood has rejected voter registration forms on which the registrant did not check the box to indicate U.S. citizenship. But Democrats have filed suit saying that signing the form requires swearing that one is a U.S. citizen anyway.”
