I take my opinion from having watched the myriad disappearing acts when the Federal census taker came around in 2000 and again when the school census was taken in Loudoun County this year. Like illegal immigration, one's too many and reflects the decrepitude of the current immigration and voter registration systems. But I still doubt this is a problem that measurably affects any elections, particularly at the federal level. Anyone have any numbers to offer? The logic chain is more than a little stretched by going from Spanish language get out the vote ads to the idea that there are legions of illegal immigrants being mobilized to swarm the polls.
