AP is reporting that Barack Obama’s aunt is an illegal alien living in Boston, sucking on the public teat by living in public housing, no less. In a day where some random guy can get his driving record checked within 24 hours of having the temerity of simply asking a question, why are we only hearing about Obama’s family connection with illegal immigration only a few days before the election? Her request for asylum was rejected four years ago, fer cryin out loud.

Yes and Obama wants to give Amnesty to the invading horde of Illegal Aliens!
Ronald Reagan signed the 1986 Amnesty engineered by the socialist, drunk and killer Ed Kennedy. Thereby, increasing the welfare and crime rate more than any single bill ever passed, (with the possible exception of probation on crime) while encouraged millions of uneducated peons & criminals to pour across our borders until now we have suffered the largest invasion in the history of the world, of any Nation, at any time, by any means!
The 20 to 40 millions of uneducated illegal aliens currently residing in this country is turning the USA into the largest Socialist Nation in the world. Each head of household with less than a high school education, Legal or Illegal is an net drain of 20k per year on the backs of American tax payers.
The cost for their Medical, Schooling and Welfare makes them the most expensive manual labor in the world. Now we have both Presidential candidates pandering for the Latino vote and promising Amnesty which will compound the problems allowing them to access even more social benefits!
The businesses employing the Illegal Aliens are in effect enjoying nearly slave labor while pocketing the profits and driving down our standard of living while passing on the actual cost to American tax payers of not only his employees but all of their family members residing with them.
The globalist, multiculturalism, open border advocates, liberals & businesses profiting from and exploiting Illegal Aliens argue that they, the Illegal Aliens, pay tons of taxes, sure they all pay real estate taxes (in rent) and sales taxes (most states). Those working on the books approximately 35 % using stolen Social Security numbers or other fraudulent documents pay FICA and, perhaps, income taxes. But they’re mostly ill-educated and low-skilled and pay very low taxes connected to their working. In fact, most claim the Earned Income Tax Credit, i.e. negative income tax! Of course, the remaining 65% of the Illegal Aliens working off the books typically work for cash and pay nothing except real estate taxes (in rent) and sales taxes (most states).
The Latinos that make up the largest group of the Illegal Aliens population has the largest school drop out rate of any ethnic group in the USA, second highest illegitimate birth rate, second highest crime rate, highest total birth rate and recent studies confirm they start dropping out of school, using drugs, having illegitimate kids, joining gangs at an earlier age then any ethnic group in the USA.
This behavior continues even after citizenship and down through each generation. This culture characteristic explains why Mexico and Latin American, while having more natural resources and moderate climate than most First World Nations are still mired in an Third World Cesspool of Crime, Corruption, Poverty and Misery!
Mexico’s and Latin American’s primary economic policy is to send their Uneducated peons and Criminals to the US for Tax payers to support and be the Victims as they rob, rape and slaughter Americans by the 10,s of thousands, Businesses to Exploit and profit from, and for Corrupt Politicians to Pander and Cuddle! While Mexico has one of the most punitive and strictly enforced immigration policies in the world!
Amnestying them & with chain immigration for their relatives and their relatives in an never ending chain will add 100,s of millions, a vast underclass of fast breeding, uneducated citizens that will make it impossible to continue the social network for American tax payers. When that occurs you will see riots, fires and pillage from coast to coast that will make the recent rioting in French by Muslim immigrants look like an cook out!
A recent study by the International Monetary fund confirms that remittance is not only is bad for the remittance country but for the country receiving the money. It allows the home country (normally third world nations) to keep from addressing the problems and improving their citizens standard of living and continue the same policies and keeping in power the corrupt government without facing an revolution and demands from citizens for improvements. So, our open borders and amnesty for the invading horde of illegal aliens is not only bad policy for this Nation but perpetrates the poverty and misery in the home countries.
We are now seeing that the Illegal Aliens can not only impact this Nation but the global economy as well. Many of the Sub-Prime loans & defaults were to Illegal Aliens that started the unraveling of the Global Economy! Just like our Declining standard of living, Bankrupt Hospitals, Failing Schools, Welfare costs, Identity fraud, Welfare fraud, Voter fraud, Gangs, Crime, Crowded prisons, Destroyed communities, Exploding population, Congested roads, Pollution, Insurance costs, Balance of payments, (Imported oil etc. to support the illegal alien population) Trashed Constitution and the Rule of Law, they have now spread their negative impact & misery across the Globe.
It looks like with American heading into a very bad recession or more likely an depression, The 100,s of billions the Illegal Aliens are costing American tax payers for free medical, schooling, welfare etc. needs to be spend on American citizens, not invading criminals from third world counties, plus the 40 to 50 billions remittance by Illegal aliens needs to stay in the country to simulate this economy and force Mexico & Latin American to address their problems!
Last but not least, all Nations immigration policies are by design & intent suppose to enhance the Nation and its Citizens that immigrated legally, obeyed the laws, paid the taxes, fought the wars and built the nation! Clearly for the reasons numerated above Amnesty for the invading horde of uneducated peons and criminals does not meet this criteria.
They certainly must not be used to further the political careers and lust for power of Corrupt/Pandering Politicians like Barrack & McCain!

freedom I was concerned with the issue, not with the current election … I hope it opens people’s eyes to the fact that illegal aliens are receiving public assistance illegally. I don’t hope it makes them want to vote McCain as opposed to Obama … as I’ve explained before, I think Obama might possibly make some inroads against illegal immigration by punishing employers, while I think McCain is more dedicated to an Amnesty bamboozlement. It’s arguable. But it’s inarguable that McCain fought tooth and nail for Amnesty - twice.

Buried in this thread is an exciting development that changed the whole election outlook! And it passed virtually without comment. The world will thank Monticup for establishing Obama’s ineligibility to be on the ballot. Monticup states unequivocally that Obama is a Kenyan citizen who was naturalized into the US. So he’s not a natural-born citizen as required by the Constitution, right Monticup? McCain gets 538 electoral votes, Obama zip. McCain becomes the first president ever to shut out his opponent in the popular vote (Obama having been ruled ineligible as soon as folks get in to work tomorrow at the election boards). Wow! McCain is spreading FUD - Fear Uncertainty and Doubt. Listen to him, his message is one of fear. I fear he is a hot head (his nickname in the sendate is Mr. Temper). Even his best advisor’s often have to advise him to try and keep his cool.
Obama - spreading Hope and Change. A positive message - that is why he has been effective.
McCain - erratict behavior - every day, he is coming out with yet another bail out package - lets spend 300 billion to change the terms of mortgages, including reducing principal, lets spend 50 billion reducing credit card debt, let reduce the capital gains tax to 7.5%, etc - this is sprending my friends. McCain is advertising that Obama is going to spend 1 trillion dollars, but when I look at McCains daily, voter buy, I see him getting closer to the trillion every day.
What are the thoughts of the McCain health plan - that is what has me concerned - so he gives me a $5,000 family tax credit that gets paid to the insurance company, but my company plan is $15,000 per year for my family, and I will be taxed on the other $10k - I do not like that, because why am I being taxed on the health benefits - that my friends is a tax increase. AND, the cost of my plan will go up, and the $5k will remain the same, just like the AMT.
McCain has shown many instances of poor judgement in his past - Keating affair, crashing a few planes (not counting his 5 weeks in Vietnam), courting Cinday McCain while still married to wife 1, etc. You can tell alot about a person when they cheat on there spouse - if they cannot keep the bond of marriage sacred, what makes me expect them to keep any promise they make to me - if the marrigage was over, fine, but it should have been final (divivorced) before they started their next marriage.

The aunt is estranged from the family, and yes, she is an Aunt, a sister of his father that he hardly knew. So, do not try to spin a story about Obama’s responsibility for his Aunt being here illegaly, or in public housing. He simple in not responsible for her actions.
He can “convieniantly” drop her as a member of his family like his brother in Kenya because he “hardly” knows her. Therefore, she’s not really a blood relative in his mind. How many other ghosts are going to come out of the closet with this guy? I’m sure we’ll see many, many more before this is over.

Just spoke with a young couple with Obama sweatshirts on as they went door to door in my neighborhood. I listened while they asked me to vote for Obama. Then they asked if I had any questions and I asked them if he was really a citizen why wouldn’t he show his birth certificate and told them I couldn’t vote for someone who wouldn’t prove he was a citizen. So the girl got really upset with me and called me a f-ing racist. Gee what a surprise

The answer is very simple….one of them is closer to your view of “good” than the other. Vote for Mickey Mouse and that’s likely whom you’ll get.
I doubt that you will EVER find a candidate with whom you agree on every single issue. Come on, is it really THAT difficult? It’s certainly your right to “throw your vote away,” but I disagree with that philosophy.
NoVA Scout — You may be very right in insinuating that this “Where were you really born?” thing is a pig in a poke. You have to admit, however, that there is something very odd in the whole business. One would think that the Obama camp would have opted to put the question rapidly to rest once and for all by producing irrefutable documentation, either the actual birth certificate; an official notarized copy of such; or some other sworn testimony which could be verified easily by those who might choose to do so. I do recall vaguely seeing something in one of the above categories but can’t quite place where or when, although I do remember some people jumping all over it because the model of typewriter used didn’t quite match the date on the document offered (a la the Dan Rather-George W. Bush thing). Can you recall offhand this document or any other definitive documentary efforts by the Obama people to counter this place-of-birth charge?
You might also say that the Obama people themselves are partially to blame for this kind of on-going speculation. When you play continuing games involving non-release of personal documentation such as school records, health records, and even legislative records, you have to anticipate that you will be suspect on a whole lot of personal issues, especially at this political level. The Obama people have generally played a smart tactical game against both Hillary and McCain, but opting for non-release of so much personal information when your candidate has such a “different” history from previous entries in a presidential race is, to my mind, a real bonehead move. That is, unless you really have something to hide. It is no wonder that so many people wonder what exactly would be found in all those unreleased documents. If Obama wins on 4 November and if something really negative is uncovered post-election in some of those documents, an Obama presidency could prove to be a very strange and contentious one…and very unfortunate for this country.
Did you know that George Romney tried to get the Republican Nomination in 1968 - and he WAS born in Mexico! I am sure that the FEC and the DNC have vetted the birth credentials of Obama.
Does anyone have any information on anything related to alternitive energy that McCain has ever proposed? As far as I can find out, he has done nothing in all his years in Congress related to alternitive energy.

I have never missed a vote (local or Presidential in 48 years. This Presidential election shows we have scraped the bottom of the barrel for candidates for President. Rather that break that streak, I will write in a candidate. McCain is a nut case who wants this country overun with Latinos and Obama is trying to BUY this elections and apparently is succeding. An empty suit with no experience with anything but 3 years in the Senate and being absent one of those years campaigning. If anyone has a good concience about voting for either of the two, go for it! In my humble estimation, both of them if elected will run this country into the ground and make it more of a third world gheto than the previous administration has. GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Definitely saying a prayer tonight that this country will be protected for the next four years. I am not even old enough to vote yet and don’t think it is fair that I should have to be so nervous about the outcome of an election.
This year we have lost our house, my mother lost her job and my parents have filed bankruptcy. I always hear my parents talking about how great our health coverage is. My dad works, his company offers affordable health care.
He works something like 12-16 hours a day lately because when my mom went to apply for food assistance the dumb case worker who was supposed to call her for a phone interview/appointment never did and even though my mom called her everyday for like 2 weeks and left messages the lady never called back. So my dad had to start picking up other peoples shifts to make sure my little brother and I didn’t have to keep eating pb&j and R amen noodles. Also, because last years taxes show my mom and dads income as being too high for free or reduced lunches and book rental assistance I know they have that burden too. I go to school with kids who barely speak English and they get free books and free lunches. Not really fair…My college educated mother has resorted to cleaning other people houses to pay for gas and other stuff need by my bro and I and my dad works like 50-60 hours a week to make sure we eat, can pay rent on a teeny tiny house, make the van payment, living expense bills and once in a while he brings home Dairy Queen!
Lifestyle change for me…We used to live in a 4000 sq ft home. I used to be able to dance in a great performing dance company. We used to go on 2 vacations a year. My mom and I used to have girls day 2x a month. My dad used to kiss me good night at 10:00 on the dot on school nights.
I pretty much know we have no wealth to share. Where is it going? I know that America is supposed to be the Land of the Free. Free to do what- Mooch off taxpayers and people who work really hard to succeed?
All I really know is if you have a job, and go to work, you can get health care and you have earned it because you have worked for it.
Or you can NOT work & have like 6 kids out of wedlock by different fathers and then have people like my dad and other hard workers pay for your health coverage, groceries, housing, kids school books, and then use the money that “my dad” worked for so the jacked up gov’t can give you cash assistance to buy your Baby Phat jeans and Gucci purses.
It’s crazy, my mom still cries during the National Anthem, and God Bless the U.S.A. My dad takes his hat off and stands at what he calls “parade rest” during the anthem. They love this country and the waving flag! (Not the ridiculous one that is in the stupid O for Obama!) And yet…I can see their frustrations with where the country is headed.
What am I saying? It is all scaring the kids. When your mom and dad are worried, no matter how they try to hide it, then you worry too. I am so grateful that we go to a church where Jesus is the Savior. Where God is the father, protector, leader, head honcho…
My church honors veterans on Veteran’s Day, supports our troops, provides food for the hungry, counseling and training for young and single mothers, transportation for the elderly….it goes on. We are able to do this because there are people who give to the church because they WANT to not because they are taxed/forced to do so. In the end, how different from the state is the church? I know that is a loaded question so please don’t gang up on me!
When a person’s faith is all they have left, what else can they do? I just hope that by the time I am old enough to vote that there is someone worth voting for. Someone honest, patriotic, not self serving, smart, experienced, just, and who loves and depends on God.

Something more frightening would be to have a government that didn’t want to take care of it’s people at all. One that would expect your parents to continue living on hard times and do absolutely nothing to help. And guess what, the government is “us”. We are what help to make up the government and how it works since the legislators are voted in to hear our voice. You may want to write these things to your state Senator instead of a very partisan blogsite.
I wonder how many Massachusetts Tax Payers are aware of this federal consent decree which was intended to desegregate public housing? Because Obama’s aunt is black first - illegal alien second, she qualified for state funded public housing. Six other states entered into t his Federal Consent Degree.

Obama’s aunt turns to relatives in Cleveland

Margaret W. Wong, a lawyer in Cleveland, issued a statement saying Zeituni Onyango did not wish to comment further.
The 56-year-old half-sister of Obama’s late father had said she would speak to a reporter after the election, but instead declined to comment and left her apartment in the Boston Housing Authority for Ohio.
“Her wish is for this matter to remain private,” Wong said in a statement. “She is in Cleveland with close family members resting and is under good care.”
An immigration judge denied Onyango’s application for political asylum and ordered her deported four years ago. But since then she has been living in federal and state-funded public housing in Boston.
Immigration lawyers have said Onyango might have several options to stay in this country, even if she were facing a deportation order. She could appeal to US Immigration and Customs Enforcement to allow her to stay while she tries to reopen her asylum case, for instance.
The circumstances of Onyango’s asylum petition have not been released.
Onyango’s immigration status, and her residency in public housing, generated controversy just before the presidential election.
Wong told the Associated Press yesterday that Onyango was upset that news of her immigration status had been leaked to the news media because she believed it was intended to hurt Obama’s candidacy.
But others questioned why she had been allowed to live there.
Illegal immigrants are ineligible for federal housing benefits, and Onyango had lived in federally subsidized housing until she transferred to state-funded housing this year for medical reasons.
State officials said a 1977 federal consent decree in Massachusetts prohibits them from denying illegal immigrants state-funded public housing.
As of yesterday, Onyango was still a tenant in the West Broadway housing project, according to Bill McGonagle, deputy director of the Boston Housing Authority.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement has asked its inspector general and Office of Professional Responsibility to investigate the leak because the overseeing Department of Homeland Security’s policy is to maintain confidentiality of such cases.
Several neighbors, who declined to give their names, described Onyango this week as a slim, tall woman who recently had back surgery and was in the hospital for several weeks. They said she walked with a limp and needed help from neighborhood children to carry in her groceries.
Onyango often dispensed advice to her younger neighbors, such as urging them to lock the front door to prevent strangers from harming their children. They said she never mentioned that she was Obama’s aunt.
