Out in Chicago there’s some friends of mine who run “Blogs 4 Borders“. Up until recently they produced a weekly video on the illegal alien issue from a national perspective, which has just been terrific. Like all of us in this fight it is a labor of love, conviction and patriotism, but certainly not one that offers a financial reward. While working on this issue day in and day out might yield some political success on occasion, there’s no one out there to help keep food on the table or a roof over your head while you work for that success. This scenario has played out for our “Blogs 4 Borders” friends, making their financial situation increasingly tenuous. Then the computer they use to produce the show died. And for now, so has the show. We can change that.
While the illegal alien lobby gets positively lavish funding, those of us out here who seek to defend our nation and our communities from the impacts that illegal aliens impose do so almost entirely out of our own pockets, aided by the much appreciated donations that show up on rare occasion. This frustrating imbalance of support might seem annoying from the outside. From the inside, it is monumentally depressing to give so much time, effort and resources for the benefit of all, and receive so little support. These patriots aren’t doing this for their own benefit, they’re doing this for all of our benefit.
The Blogs 4 Borders folks have put out an appeal for support in order to just get their production effort back online. Given their modest resources, just getting a new motherboard suitable for video production is beyond them, but it is hardly beyond all of us. For a pretty modest thousand dollars, raised across the country, not only can Jake and MJ get a replacement for their broken system, it can be much a better system than the one they had before. This modest gesture would mean a lot to folks accustomed to living off the crumbs left over. It’s time for all of us to stand up for those who stand up for us and our communities. A little from all of us can make a world of difference to those used to getting hardly anything at all.
I kicked in almost all of the advertising revenue from BVBL to help get things started. I’d really appreciate it if readers would make their own contributions as well that would allow Blogs 4 Borders to get back online. Whether you give a little or a lot, it will make a big difference, and maybe this one time folks working for us can start to believe that the citizens who benefit from their efforts actually appreciate the sacrifices they’re making.
