'Twas the month before Christmas when all through our land,
Not a Christian was praying nor taking a stand.
Why the PC Police had taken away,
The reason for Christmas - no one could say.

The children were told by their schools not to sing,
About Shepherds and Wise Men and Angels and things.
It might hurt people's feelings, the teachers would say
December 25th is just a ' Holiday '.
Yet the shoppers were ready with cash, checks and credit
Pushing folks down to the floor just to get it!
CDs from Madonna, an X BOX, an I-pod
Something was changing, something quite odd!

Retailers promoted Ramadan and Kwanzaa
In hopes to sell books by Franken & Fonda.
As Targets are hanging their trees upside down
At Lowe's the word Christmas - was no where to be found.

At K-Mart and Staples and Penny's and Sears
You won't hear the word Christmas; it won't touch your ears.
Inclusive, sensitive, Di-ver-si-ty
Are words that were used to intimidate me.

Now Daschle, Now Darden, Now Sharpton, Wolf Blitzen
On Boxer, on Rather, on Kerry, on Clinton !
At the top of the Senate, there arose such a clatter
To eliminate Jesus, in all public matter.

And we spoke not a word, as they took away our faith
Forbidden to speak of salvation and grace
The true Gift of Christmas was exchanged and discarded
The reason for the season, stopped before it started.

So as you celebrate 'Winter Break' under your 'DreamTree'
Sipping your Starbucks, listen to me.
Choose your words carefully, choose what you say
Shout MERRY CHRISTMAS, not Happy Holiday !

the poor AIG execs, ran a company to near bankruptcy, but they still want and still get their bonuses.

I think corporate America has forgotten what a bonus is for - another abuse of the system at our cost - higher premiums, etc.

A large number, 800 if I recall correctly, of the flyers that the "Independents for City Council" mailed to all Manassas Park voters came back as undeliverable.

I saw a big mailbox tub full of them on the Registrar's desk yesterday.

Last time I checked, there was about 5900 registered voters in Manassas Park, so about 13% of those don't even live here anymore.

Is this typical? Do you normally get 13% of the flyers you send out back undeliverable?

Is there currently a list floating around online of local businesses that are flagrantly employing illegals, or that are at least highly suspected of doing so?

Is there currently a list floating around online of local businesses that are flagrantly employing illegals, or that are at least highly suspected of doing so? Not sure whether HSM has distributed something of the sort. There's a local construction company that I believe could be added based on the truckloads of hispanic men that I see five days a week at a construction site. Gosh, I just love to sit and watch these men at my child's school as they openly oggle the young girls while making what I'm certain are absolutely lovely and appropriate comments in Spanish (based on their chuckles, winks, and elbowing each other).

Also, in my hometown in Texas, anyone caught driving without a license and/or insurance is arrested. Is that not the case here???

"who is going to mow my neighbors lawn when all the illegals leave?"

My friend's son has a business mowing lawns.

Or, hey, maybe one of his neighbors will get fed up and mow it for him.

I remember a friend of mine used to live in Irongate and he would mow his lawn and everyone else's that wouldn't bother to mow theirs.

who is going to mow my neighbors lawn when all the illegals leave?

Surely he cannot do it himself (he is too obese) - and his children are just as lazy as he is.

We need to follow up on this and get this issue back into the Supreme Court. What about the learning resources that are diverted away from legal residents? Don't the lawful residents of our country have rights?

As money gets tighter and the recession worsens, the calls will increase for our tax dollars to be spent on those who are here legally. As the illegals leave, the jobless rate will drop as more jobs open up for legal residents. Even the apologist's organizational budgets will dry up, as liberals are not known for being generous with their personal donations. We must continue to target all areas of our society to make it difficult for illegal aliens to hide amongst us. Punish their employers, take away their job opportunities, reduce their use of medical care, repeal the 14th, get their kids out of the public schools. When they run out of reasons to be here, they will leave.

I still dont think we'll see an amnesty of the sort that's been done in the past. Deep down people are seriously against illegal immigration, even if it's not a top voting topic. Just wait until an amnesty is actually proposed and we'll see a major backlash from the voting public.

Amnesty is not the way no matter what, even many pro-immigrant groups are not for a total amnesty. It brings the public against them. They are looking for something more "in the middle" that the public wont fight as much about.

As much as I would love to have all illegal immigrants out of the U.S. i dont think it's going to happen anytime soon. My solution would be to lean on the businesses that are hiring the illegals. It's working in arizona and it's stood up to the test of the courts. The numbers dont lie, people are leaving arizona in droves due to both economic reasons and the fact that illegals are having really hard times getting hired.

This is just the type of person Timmy Kaine and obama support because they see him as a future voter. When will it stop? It won't because people like Nova scout and other supporters of child rapists say we are too harsh on illegals and that we need to embrace them for the good of the Country. They say we need a free flow of goods and labor across borders to help save our future. What is the big deal about having a child rapist or two among them? Besides, do you really think timmy has to worry about an illegal brekaing into his house with all the security he has?

The Obama administration is now on a fast track to pass an amnesty bill while stopping or even reversing the border fence and other efforts to stop illegal immigration.

It is now crystal clear that we will face a much more difficult battle from pro-amnesty Obama and appointees like Napolitano and Munoz.

Please join Grassfire's effort to Resist Obama’s leftist agenda. Please go here to join the resistance:

OBAMA APPOINTS LA RAZA OFFICER TO HIS WHITE HOUSE STAFF

Obama is building an Open Borders and pro-Amnesty dream team in Washington. Appointment after appointment we are finding our opposition, including his appointment of Cecilia Muñoz who will become the Director of Intergovernmental Affairs in his administration. Muñoz currently serves as Senior Vice President for NCLR's (National Council of La Raza) Office of Research, Advocacy, and Legislation.

well, the word is coming out that the Bush Administration listened to the banking industry lobbyist's, and not the regulators, by not cracking down on exotic mortgages. There is still some blame to go around to other folks, but the administration was in the position to create/enforce rules, or ignore them. They chose the latter.
