VIRGINIA STATE TAKES CON. CON. STAGE

    By Chuck Baldwin
    January 13, 2009
    NewsWithViews.com

As I noted in this column a few weeks ago, proponents of assembling a new Constitutional Convention are a scant two states away from achieving that monstrous reality. (Please review my column on this subject) http://www.newswithviews.com/baldwin/baldwin480.htm

At that time, the state of Ohio was in the crosshairs. Fortunately, enough people from that good state inundated their state representatives with objections, and the matter was tabled (for how long, no one knows). Now it appears that the Commonwealth of Virginia is going to be the next battleground state.

In all likelihood, the Virginia legislature will be the next state government to take up the Con Con issue. It is imperative, therefore, that the citizens of Virginia begin contacting their various representatives, demanding that they not authorize the call for a new Constitutional Convention.

As I noted in my previous column on this subject, “If called, a modern Constitutional Convention could declare the U.S. Constitution to be null and void, and could completely rewrite the document. For example, former U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice Warren Burger once declared, ‘There is no effective way to limit or muzzle the actions of a Constitutional Convention. The Convention could make its own rules and set its own agenda.’”

Since 32 states have already approved the new Con Con, only 2 more states are required for the enactment of this debacle.

For clarification, Virginia already passed a Con Con resolution, but in 2004 rescinded that resolution. Therefore, the debate this year will be whether to reverse the bill to rescind. Simply put, the state legislature in Virginia may again take up the matter of issuing their call for a Constitutional Convention very soon, and citizens in that good state need to rally against it now!

To give readers a simple tally, the following states have never voted to ratify a new Constitutional Convention: California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Kentucky, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

These states voted for a new Constitutional Convention but later rescinded their resolutions: Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Idaho, Utah, North Dakota, Arizona, Virginia, South Carolina, and Georgia.

If you do not see your state listed above, it means your state indeed voted to call for a new Constitutional Convention and has not rescinded its vote. I strongly suggest that citizens of these states demand that their legislatures rescind their previous votes calling for a new Con Con. Start now!

Of course, the problem is, it is not clear whether the court will allow states to rescind their votes after having passed a Con Con resolution. Article. V. of the U.S. Constitution is vague on the subject, and there is no case law precedent on the matter. As far as I’m concerned, however, the Tenth Amendment settles the issue, and states should be regarded as fully qualified under the Constitution to determine their own fate in the matter. Since there is nothing in the Constitution prohibiting rescission, states are duly authorized to rescind their votes, as they please. But I don’t expect the powers that be in Washington, D.C., to see it that way. Does anyone remember that little skirmish known as the Civil War? This, in essence, was the same view of the Confederate States: they voted to rescind their decisions to join the Union. The tyrant, Abraham Lincoln, determined that states have no such sovereignty (thus nullifying the Tenth Amendment, among several others) and sent the entire federal army to force the southern states back into the union. If history is any teacher, therefore, no state will be allowed to rescind their votes, and we are only two states away from a new Constitutional Convention being assembled.

There is no question in my mind that, should a new Constitutional Convention be called, it would be the end of the United States of America as we know it, and our current Constitution and Bill of Rights would be forever altered beyond recognition. The globalists who currently control Washington, D.C., and Wall Street are, no doubt, salivating over the opportunity to officially dismantle America’s independence and national sovereignty, and establish a globalist North American Union–in much the same way that globalists created the European Union. A new Constitutional Convention is exactly the tool they need to cement their sinister scheme into law.

I urge readers to contact their state representatives regarding this critical matter.

Given that our current crop of politicians have shown themselves to be FAR less than their predecessors of old (the original framers of the Constitution), the only way that I could see that the current generation of voters even entertaining the notion of allowing those sticky fingers on such an august document would be because schools have ceased utilizing textbooks which properly document the early days of the Constitutional Republic. They’ve been talking about Constitutional Conventions since back in the days when I first became politically cognizant, with very few takers. Dumbing down subsequent generations would, I imagine, be high on the list of priorities for those who have long been proponents of such an incredibly stupid act.

AWCheney — You just hit the nail square on the head. We have been blessed of late with an educational system in which some of the kids can scarcely, if at all, tell you when and why the Civil War was fought, must less understand the history of the crafting of the Constitution. Good shot, AW. Arrow right into the bullseye. And this is not a follow-up shot at teachers. They have a darn tough job these days. Look instead to the philosophy behind the methods imposed on the troops in the trenches.

Teachers are the unsung heroes of the day. They work for little money and have a big job, keeping our kids educated. Unfortunately they teach to tests these days. I agree, it’s the administrations fault they dont have the tools necessary to ensure our kids are educated properly. And whatever happened to physical education? Kids are getting fatter and fatter these days and it’s sorely needed.

There have always been those who try to caution the people about excess government. Former president Ronald Reagan is credited with the following:

“There are those in America today who have come to depend absolutely on government for their security. And when government fails they seek to rectify that failure in the form of granting government more power. So, as government has failed to control crime and violence with the means given it by the Constitution, they seek to give it more power at the expense of the Constitution. But in doing so, in their willingness to give up their arms in the name of safety, they are really giving up their protection from what has always been the chief source of despotism — government. Lord Acton said power corrupts. Surely then, if this is true, the more power we give the government the more corrupt it will become. And if we give it the power to confiscate our arms we also give up the ultimate means to combat that corrupt power. In doing so we can only assure that we will eventually be totally subject to it. When dictators come to power, the first thing they do is take away the people’s weapons. It makes it so much easier for the secret police to operate, it makes it so much easier to force the will of the ruler upon the ruled.”

Ron, that has been an ongoing battle. After a while I got tired of them and added Wagner’s website to my adsense “competitive ad filter” trying to get rid of them. That didn’t work. Then I put the text “if the above ad is for Jody Wager, she stinks”. Adsense stopped showing anything after a while, so I took that text down. Then the Wagner ads showed up again, so I put the text back up, only this time it read “if the above ad is for Jody Wagner, she positively sucks”. Once again, several hours later adsense stopped serving any ads. I again took that down. Now Wagner’s ads are back up.

I’m putting that text back up and it’s staying when adsense comes up as the random ad banner. If adsense is going to screw with me this hard and not do what their documentation says they do, they can go to hell. I don’t make enough from them to offset the aggravation they’re causing me.

I got a transcript of O’holybamas speech for Tuesday. I think it is fitting especially being the day after Martin Luther King day.

    My Fellow Americans,
I have a dream that one day my Government will provide health care to all and decide who lives and dies.
I have a dream that one day your entire paycheck will be taken by my government and the politicians will decide for you how best to spend your money.
I have a dream of you waiting in a bread line for your families food.
I have a dream that one day your child will live in government subsidized communist style high rise condos, with access to semi adequate public transportation.
I have a dream that if your child works adequately at his communist style government given job, that one day he will move to the top floor penthouse of his government owned communist style high rise.
I have a dream that one day all suv’s will be replaced with government subsidized communist east German style automobiles.
I have a dream that the government will pass a national law telling you what you can eat and drink.
I have a dream that all small business owners will be taxed to the point they give up and live off of welfare.
I have a dream the the spirit of America will be broken to the point that you all will demand food stamps, welfare and government subsidized communist style housing.
I have a dream that all Americans will be satisfied working in the rice fields like the Communists in China.
I have dream that little black children are just as poor as little white, Asian, Latino, and Eskimo children and they all live in government subsidized communist style housing.
I have a dream that you all become equal.
I have a dream that the constitution doesn’t say “pursuit of happiness” but rather just plain ol’ “happiness”.
I hope that one day we will see my dreams come true. I hope that one day you will be equal, you will stand in bread lines and gas lines and welfare lines together, I hope that one day all the evil wealthy rich will get there just desserts, how dare they work hard and earn a decent living. How dare middle class people complain that between state income, federal income and local property taxes that add up to a years worth of mortgage payments every year, that it is to much? Don’t they know, government knows best! Don’t they know that when government creates something it is always the best value for your money?

Look at our public schools they are run so well that only an estimated 40 million Americans are illiterate. In the city of Detroit Michigan the high school drop out rate is only 48% I want to replicate that nation wide. I want the nation and the world to know that government is the answer. I want the same people who run the DMV to run our health care system. I want the same people who spend 671,900 dollars for lighting the dome on the U.S. capitol building to ensure that your retirement is financially secure. I want the same government who is so quick to defend our borders to take care of everything, you house, your car, your job, your will, your liberty and I hope that one day you will dream a dream of progressive tyrannical politics with me. I hope you dream that dream today join me in my quest for hope and change. Change you can count on, change you can believe in, change that will change everything. Tomorrow after the balls and the dancing and the partying I am going to get to work. I am going to do to America what William Ayers and Reverend Write and all my buddies have wanted to do for years. Tomorrow we will began to change the country and the world forever. And if there is anybody who wants to stop me they had better speak up before I take that right away.”

    Thank you
Now I have to go put a new born baby on a shelf.
    Thank you
    Thank you

Its good he finally filled in the blanks of his dreams and hopes. Now all the people who voted for him are going to see what he meant.

    Herndon Bob,

Thanks for sharing this news about the American Legion. I’m a member of the American Legion (and the VFW.) I have paid my dues literally and figuratively so I believe my opinion on this issue matters. I support the American Legion so it may continue to fulfill its mission. The American Legion’s primary mission is to help American veterans and their families, as well as American children and youth.

Clearly, the American Legion has made a decision to operate outside its mission and enter the world of partisan politics. Whether or not you agree with their position is academic. As a member, I would be just as upset if they wrote a position paper supporting illegal immigration. This is the wrong issue (or type of issue) for the American Legion to get involved in. It represents a specific ideological domain that has nothing to do with American veterans and their families.

Veterans (particularly the veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan) are being short changed in so many ways. I do not want MY organization devoting scarce and critical resources to tasks that do not directly the mission I expect them to fulfill.

Thanks again, Herndon Bob. I’ll “raise the flag” on this issue.

It is sad to say, but that article hit the nail on the head. Multiply Denver by virtually every large city in this country and we have a catastrophe in the making as far as American society/culture as we now know it goes. The third world is on the move looking for their “Mecca or Shangrila” and unfortunately with the collusion of governents, they have found it. Look at England, France, the Netherlands and yes, The U.S. as well as a host of other highly developed countries. These countries are being invaded, yes, invaded by the uneducated and poorest of the poor and are turning them into places just like they came from. I have heard that in 50 years, there won’t be a native born englishman alive. Sorry to say, it looks like that will happen in this country in the not too distant future if we continue on as we have been re out borders and the millions of people we “import” every year to work while we “export” our jobs overseas.

A 47 year old woman in Triangle shot 1 of 3 intruders in her home today. The news report says that 2 fled when she confronted them but the 3rd turned back to her and that’s when she shot him. The one that was shot was arrested and he is still in the hospital and the police caught one of the others that got away.

And to think that some places don’t even let you have weapons to protect yourself in your own home.

The key words are “turned back to her”. Justifiable self defense.

And hopefully he won’t survive long enough to sue her.

Kaine’s Prison Plan Should Be Handcuffed
    Commentary by Sanford D. Horn
    January 13, 2009

So Virginia Governor Tim Kaine is interested in letting a few “good” prisoners out of the gray bar hotel 90 days early as a cost-cutting measure claiming they are “non-violent offenders who have been model inmates” and were due for a 30 day early dismissal, according to an article written by Anthony Barkow of New York.

Barkow, who authored “In Kaine’s Budget Plan, a Reality Check for Prisons,” is executive director of the Center on the Administration of Criminal Law at New York University School of Law. He penned this biased editorial to sing the praises of this early release plan of the non-violent, noting that “prominent Republicans” with backgrounds in criminal justice policy support this plan, but only names one Republican. Barkow then criticizes the current Virginia Attorney General, Bob McDonnell, the presumptive GOP nominee for governor later this year for not marching in lock-step with this less than savory idea.

Meanwhile, in Barkow’s Empire State, the king of the Ponzi Scheme, Bernie Madoff – pronounced Made-off, as in what he did with $50 billion – yes, billion with a “b” in people’s retirements and charitable organizations’ funds, rests easy in his $7 million home, instead of in a prison cell. People nationwide are outraged, and rightfully so, that a lowlife like Madoff is allowed to breathe the air of a free person while countless numbers of people have been bilked out of their life savings and charitable organizations are unable to do the good works they have done for years.

Just because a criminal is non-violent doesn’t mean he or she shouldn’t be incarcerated. In the case of Madoff, the death penalty is not unreasonable, after all, his misdeeds have inalterably affected the lives of people too old to return to work and certainly could not recoup their losses. Some people have even committed suicide because of the actions of this miscreant.

But back to the Commonwealth of Virginia and down the slippery slope the prison system is about to slide. Barkow claims more than $1 billion is spent annually on incarceration in Virginia and labels tough-on-crime positions “irrational,” suggesting that the non-violent offender who pose no danger to society not be imprisoned. As is typical of liberals, Barkow offers no suggestion as to his appropriate method of punishment, for although they may be non-violent, they are still convicts.

Barkow also suggests that to continue to incarcerate the non-violent offenders, schools and additional police on the streets will lose funding. Of course those scare tactics are exactly what he has in mind. Instead of calling for an to pork-barrel spending and a diminution of special-interest funding, which would make the most sense, Barkow wants to instill fear in the hearts and minds of the citizenry in order to garner support for a lame-brained idea.

There’s a reason Republicans like former governor and senator George Allen pushed hard for no parole in Virginia. When a criminal is sentenced to a term of 10 years for example, he or she serves that amount of time. There should not be early release for good behavior. Instead, there should be extended sentences for bad behavior. Stricter sentences should be the order of the day, not more lenient sentences.

Barkow went so far as to praise Kaine as a governor with “guts” for telling “people that the criminal justice system has gone too far.” Well, to be fair, Barkow is right – the criminal justice system has gone too far, just not in the way he thinks or in the right direction.

Prison should not be a pleasant experience for any inmate – white collar, blue collar or ministerial collar. Since when do prisoners have a constitutional right to cable or any television, for that matter. Weight rooms? Athletic equipment? Gone. If prisoners don’t want their muscles to atrophy, don’t commit crimes and end up in the clink. There’s some money saved as well. Strip these prisons down to their bare bones minimum. Prisoners ought to live like minimalists – smaller cells allow for more prisoners to be housed. If a prisoner wants books, newspapers or other reading material, let them procure it from the outside when family or friends visit. No more computers, radios or other electronic luxuries – after all prison is just that, and not summer camp.

Busy prisoners ought to be productive prisoners learning trades such as carpentry, plumbing, cooking, even first aid skills, all of which are marketable on the outside upon release having served their entire sentences. Any prisoner with a skill or a talent can teach other inmates.

Governor Kaine would be wise to procure a page out Sheriff Joe Arpaio’s playbook. Known around the country as “America’s Toughest Sheriff,” he runs the force in Maricopa County Arizona where there are both male and female chain gangs, prisoners painting over graffiti, cleaning the streets and even burying the indigent. Inside the prison Arpaio is known to have the cheapest meals in the United States – averaging roughly 15 cents and the inmates are only fed twice a day.

Now before all the ACLUeless attorneys get their briefs in a twist, once again, for those prisoners who object, don’t become a criminal. They make their choices and those choices come with consequences. There’s a boatload of money to be saved and trimmed from the budget without violating anyone’s rights or giving free passes to non-violent offenders.

While on the budget-trimming subject, any non-indigent sentenced must pay a fine and the money goes in the education and/or transportation coffers. Illegals should not be put in American prisons, but instead, deported to their country of origin. Notice, I do not say illegals who have committed a crime, because once they have taken that first illegal step on American soil, they have broken the law. And for those white collar criminals who have stolen from investors, raided pension funds, bilked charities, all their assets should be liquidated in order to make some form of remuneration to the victims. They may be non-violent, but their crimes certainly are not victimless and they do deserve to fulfill their reservations at the gray bar hotel – sans room service.

I was thinking about it. All the Liberals in Fairfax driving thier fancy suvs or eco friendly priuses and living in their mcmansions are so broke that they don’t have any money left over at the end of the month to give to charity. Could that be a reason they don’t mind the taxes they pay? They think it is their patriotic duty even their moral duty to pay more and more taxes that provide more and more welfare? Liberals are stupid and selfish people. Gerry connelly is a piece of work. total Obama head.

another thing I find very interesting (and very telling) is that the 9500 liberty people are no where to be found these days. i predicted this long ago, after the election they would fade into the woodwork. A few economy parties here and there and…poof, gone like the wind.

I guess they really DO care about illegal immigrants (sarcasm alert). It’s also funny that now that the economy is worse than before, the anti chicks dont seem to be holding any parties to boost the economy. Not that they ever did really boost anything (other than their ego’s) but that’s pretty telling in and of itself.

I had always said that the illegal immigration issue (and others) were just tools to boost their ego. as soon as the issue died down in the press, so they went their separate ways and found something else to be activist about.

I take words from the person above, liberals are stupid and elitist and they make me sick.

Some of you squandered your outrage on “Obama faking his birth certificate” and “the media picking on Sarah Palin” to the point where when a real outrage comes along, the usual bi-partisan crookedness, I don’t hear a peep about it.

Obama’s appointment of Geithner for Treasury Secretary is a DISGRACE.

If the average American cheated on his taxes to this tune they will frequently GO TO JAIL. Not this guy. He gets to be Treasury Secretary.

Both parties are A-OK with handing the post over to this guy. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB123194884833281695.html?mod=article-outset-box

If we are to believe the spin that the guy didn’t actually understand how to file, if we accept that rather laughable premise, it only makes him MORE UNQUALIFIED to be TREASURY SECRETARY.

Absolutely disgusting - and, apparently, a done deal. Because we don’t really have opposing parties in America. We have two parties that collude to undermine us for the sake of their wealthy cohorts while putting on a dog-and-pony show about “fiscal conservatives” vs. “America-first liberals”, “social progressives” vs. “familly values conservatives”, “Joe Six Pack” vs. “my grandmother’s values”, etc. etc.

the whole thing is rather obvious and disgusting if you look at it objectively rather than through the prism of all this fake partisan politics.

If you read this - http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/01/15/bush.legacy/index.html

Bush makes the arguement that he should have used his political capital after 2004 to fight for Immigration Reform as priority #1. What he chose to “fight for” at the time was privatizing Social Security.

Had he privatized it we can see now we would have had a huge disaster and lots of our parents eating dog food.

Instead he wishes he’d been able to sign an Amnesty for millions and degrade wages further for most Americans, and increase poverty in America. His friend Vincente would have liked that I’m sure.

As for what Bush said about comprehensive immigration reform, that was an even bigger disgrace. Bush knows the majority of American do not want amnesty or immigration reform - we simply want the existing laws enforced. Bush has no shame. I am sorry to say that I voted for him in ‘04.

    Fellow Patriots,

I don’t have time to mince words…we need action and we need it now! Just in on the newswire from DC today: the State Children’s Health Insurance Program bill (SCHIP) was voted on in the House of Representatives…without any committee hearing!!!

HELP US SEND IN MINUTEMAN CHAIRMAN CHRIS SIMCOX TO DC TO FIGHT SCHIP!!! CLICK HERE NOW!

Folks, as most of you know, standard procedure for any legislation - whether in the House or the Senate - is that a bill is drafted and assigned to a committee. The committee members then schedule the bill for a hearing, debate, and a vote on whether to send it to the floor for a full vote from all the members…

    Well…not today…

Leftist pro-amnesty liberals have skirted the system by skipping the committee process altogether!

SCHIP was forced to the floor of the House today for debate and a vote!!! IT PASSED: 289-139!!!

STOP SCHIP FROM GIVING FREE MONEY TO ILLEGAL ALIENS!!! CLICK HERE NOW!

As you may recall, in last year’s session SCHIP was floated by members of Congress - with a full approval from the Bush Administration!

…that should tell you enough right there…but wait, there’s more…

When it was originally conceived, SCHIP was a plan to give federal funds to poor, uninsured children around the country. Sounds harmless and kind, right? Wrong! It was merely the proverbial camel’s nose under the tent for nationalized health care.

Remember the phrase, “It’s for the children”? Well, you get the idea.

As if the original SCHIP proposal weren’t bad enough, the “new and improved” version is downright scandalous!!!

HELP MINUTEMAN PAC SEND IN REINFORCEMENTS TO DC TO STOP SCHIP AND FREE MONEY TO ILLEGALS!!!

Voted on the House Floor today was the newer version of SCHIP which–again did NOT get ANY committee hearing at all, NONE, ZIP, ZILCH. Here’s a quick summary of the changes in the bill, which were only made available to Republicans early this morning:

“The bill would dilute the focus on America’s poorest of children by opening SCHIP to the children of illegal aliens as the bill eliminates the identity-verification requirements in the current law and severely limits what states can do to attain proof of citizenship. The bill also removes the five-year waiting period legal residents are currently required to wait before enrolling in Medicaid or SCHIP. The bill does not include a cap on income for eligibility which would permit families making more than $80,000 eligible for coverage, whether American citizens or not.”

WE MUST STOP THIS BILL NOW!!! HELP US SEND IN CARMEN MERCER AND CHRIS SIMCOX TO CONGRESS!!!

Now, I’m sure I don’t have to spell it all out for you here…because it’s obvious what leftists Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid are doing!

They are stacking the decks with ultra-liberal legislation - which they hope to pass with their new majorities in Congress - and wait until after the inauguration to send them to President Obama to sign!!!

As if a trillion-dollar “economic stimulus” package [read: give-away package] both by Bush and Obama weren’t bad enough…now the leftists in Congress are proposing to give away free health care to ALL CHILDREN…rich or poor, legal or illegal!

And of course, health care isn’t “provided” by Congress…No, it’s “paid for” by Congress…

…and how do you suppose Congress will pay for that free health care?

    That’s right! MORE TAXES!!!

Friends, this is beyond unconstitutional; it’s beyond illegal; and it’s beyond immoral…IT’S SOCIALIST! We warned that this was going to happen, and now here’s the evidence right before our eyes.

We did our best to prepare you for what was coming down the pike, and we hope you heeded our warning. But, now, as we said then, we must stand up and fight this tyranny…just as the Minutemen of the Revolution did.

Obama, Pelosi, and Reid are ready to sell our republic down the river…

…And if we don’t stand together now and fight, we’ll lose our country and have nothing left to pass down to our posterity!

CLICK HERE! HELP MINUTEMAN PAC STOP OBAMA, PELOSI, AND REID FROM DESTROYING OUR COUNTRY!

Here’s what happens next: the House will send the passed SCHIP bill over to the Senate for conference. And we all know how much the Senate loves amnesty and free giveaways to illegal aliens.

When they do, we’ll stage our fight there. We’ve fought amnesty on that battleground before, and we’ll do it again. BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP!

We’re sending in MMPAC Honorary Chairman Chris Simcox AND Vice-Chairwoman Carmen Mercer to personally fight the battle. Carmen Mercer is already there…and Chris is soon to follow. Of course, this fight will come at a great expense to Minuteman PAC, but we must fight it nonetheless!

That’s why we need your help to ensure that they have all the resources they need to sharpen the sword and do battle on The Hill.

In addition to supporting our fight, we need EVERYONE to call their Senators and demand that they vote down this travesty of a bill!

Just as we defeated McCain-Kennedy amnesty, we can defeat SCHIP…but all hands must be on deck for this fight. This is a call to arms; man your post and help us defeat this socialist bill now and forever!

    For America,

    Brett Farley
    Executive Director
    Minuteman PAC

P.S. One of the worst bills to be drafted in years has now passed in the House of Representatives. It promises to give free health care to ALL children in the U.S.–rich or poor, legal or illegal…at a cost of billions to you and me. It’s amnesty all over again…we will defeat it, but we need your urgent help now! Click Here to help us send Chris Simcox and Carmen Mercer to DC to fight SCHIP! And pass the word to all your friends and family! We cannot let this bill get to the desk of Barack Obama!

Preemptive Strike Against Mexico Needed to Protect Americans

    By John W. Lillpop

As Mexico’s “war on drugs” decays further and further into civil war, President Obama and Homeland Secretary Janet Napolitano need to be aware of the sub-human Mexican animals whose barbaric behavior could eventually endanger the lives and well being of Americans on the U.S. side of the border.

As reported by Reuters (1), in part:

“OJO DE AGUA, Mexico, Jan 23 (Reuters) - A Mexican drug suspect has confessed to dissolving the bodies of 300 rivals with corrosive chemicals near the U.S. border, in a claim highlighting the brutality of Mexico’s drug war.

“Santiago Meza, known as “The Stew Maker,” told journalists he did away with bodies in industrial drums on the outskirts of the violent city of Tijuana.

“More than 700 people died in Tijuana last year as rival gangs battled for control of the city’s lucrative drug trade. Many others are missing and believed dead after being abducted.

“The suspect, who was paraded before journalists by the army on Friday, said he was paid $600 a week by a breakaway faction of the Arellano Felix cartel to dispose of slain rivals with caustic soda, a highly corrosive substance.

“They brought me the bodies and I just got rid of them,” Meza said at a construction site where he said he dissolved 300 corpses last year. “I didn’t feel anything.”

“The bodies took 24 hours to dissolve but left some remains that were dumped in a nearby pit, Meza said.

“A high-ranking army officer told Reuters he believed Meza, who was arrested with three other people on Thursday, was telling the truth.

“Police have previously recovered human remains burned with acid in and around the city.

“Meza, 45, said he had been getting rid of bodies for 10 years.

“May they forgive me,” he said, surrounded by heavily armed soldiers.

“The spiraling violence of Mexico’s drug war has cast a pall over the country and presents a huge challenge to President Felipe Calderon, who has deployed thousands of troops to crush the cartels.

“The drug war claimed 5,700 lives across Mexico last year, more than double the number of victims in 2007. (Editing by Peter Cooney)”

Instead of fretting over nonsense like Rush Limbaugh, assuring that US taxpayer money is available to fund abortions, and gays in the military, President Obama needs to do that which should have been done on the afternoon of September 11, 2001:

Seal off the US-Mexico border with armed military force.

In addition, the Obama administration should immediately implement detailed plans for a preemptive military strike against our third-world neighbor to keep it’s gory violence from despoiling pristine American soil!

RECEIVED IN MY EMAIL BY ANOTHER GREAT PATRIOT

    Dear Mr. Robert Reich,
I have the video of you saying it Robert…and I saw you on TV…what more is there for me to see, hear or read. Your RACIST and discrimination remark against WHITE males is all over the nation.
Is this administration a RACIST one…? It certainly appears to be.
You leave us NO choice but to take this to the legal experts.
Our government employees have run amok…you DON’T listen to those that feed you. This is a REPUBLIC and it is NOT the duty of our government to say who gets to work or what kind of work they will be allowed to do EXCEPT what our constitution says and you all don’t care what THAT says either. Hillary Clinton has NO right to take the job as Secretary of State. She voted for the pay raise and under our constitution has NO right to accept the seat, but YOU employees don’t care about THAT either…you overlook THAT and allow her to be appointed.
    Isn’t that TREASON Robert…?
Now tell me Robert, just WHY has this Barry Soetoro/AKA Obama or whoever he REALLY is allowed to keep his “VAULT LIVE BIRTH” birth certificate, his college records, his medical records, his passport SEALED from us…? WHY did he and the Democratic party spend all those hundreds of thousands of dollars to fight his records from being exposed…?
Answer this Robert..!! WHAT is there for him to hide…? Do you think it none of OUR business…?
Our employees are picking and choosing what part of our constitution they want to abide by.
Wake up Robert….this country was founded UNDER GOD and GOD ALMIGHTY is watching all of us. We are the ONLY nation on this planet to be so BLESSED. We only need to look around and see that He is getting fed up too.
God have mercy on our employees for the likes of what evil they do. i.e.; supporting the perversion, the criminals, the INVASION of foreign illegals, the removing of God from our country and the corruption they do.
ILLEGAL aliens in our country have NO SAY what our government should or should not do. They do NOT deserve AMNESTY or ANY benefits from us taxpaying CITIZENS. They SHOULD be DEPORTED. As I see it, pandering to them is TREASON.
    Thank you for your reply
    Mrs. S. Ellison

SIT BACK AND WATCH……THERE WON’T BE ANY VALID ANSWERS, JUST NAME CALLING, BECAUSE WHEN THEY KNOW THEY’RE IN THE WRONG, THAT’S ALL THEY CAN RESORT TO.

WE MIGHT NOT WIN, BUT YOU CAN’T WIN WITHOUT US!
