Illegal Alien Drug And Weapons Dealer - Where Is He Now?

By Greg L | 7 February 2009 | Illegal Aliens, Manassas Park, Crime | 17 Comments

Last October we learned of the arrest of an illegal alien in Manassas Park who had been selling cocaine and automatic weapons out of the restaurant he owned named El Vaquero.  You’d think four months later we’d see some records about the prosecution of Luis Guzman and his two associates, and notice that this restaurant at least wasn’t operating with an ABC license.  Instead, a check of the Virginia Court Case Information System shows no records of prosecution, and the business appears to be operating with a liquor license.  Curious.

What I have heard about this case is that the weapons had been stolen from a law enforcement agency, most likely the Manassas Park Police Department, and that the defendants in this case had ties to City Manager Mercury Payton.  When the city has been so eager to manufacture evidence in order to get ABC licenses revoked in some establishments, it’s rather strange that businesses run by illegal alien drug and weapons dealers not only are allowed to continue to operate without interruption, but that the crimes committed by these individuals don’t seem to get prosecuted.

If you were dealing coke and stolen automatic weapons out of a bar you owned, do you think prosecutors would ignore it after you were arrested and charged?  No, I didn’t think so. You are held to a different standard, and don’t qualify for the lenient treatment provided to illegal aliens.  You, citizen, would go to jail for a long, long time.

What is the problem? Illegals have more rights than citizens. We just have to learn to live with it.

As I understand it, at this very moment, there is a Re-Education Program being designed and development to aid and to assist American citizens to readjust to this Brave New World. The Program will be mandatory for all citizens and the citizens will be billed to cover the costs of the program.

    Isn’t de mock rarcy wonderful?

Well, maybe MP is getting a cut. They’ve got to finance their shortfall somehow so that they can keep building those monuments to themselves.

Question? When they bust someone for dealing drugs, do they not take the property of the busted? Especially when that property was used in the drug operation.

I wonder if he yelled “say hello to my little friend!” As the cops took him down? This whole thing stinks to high heaven. I believe that the feds may have asserted juridiction in this case. It certainly seems that way.

That’s how the domestic federal drug investigative agencies work. They’ll use him to go higher.

That’s all well and good. The investigation concluded in August of 2008. Court documents were unsealed and the press was informed. So…why has this man been granted a new ABC license in Manassas Park in December of 2008?

Why is a drug dealing, felon, illegal alien being granted a fresh business license by the Manassas Park Commissioner of Revenue?

Why is MP OK with allowing a convicted Cocaine dealer and assault rifle smuggler to maintain a restaurant that he used specifically as a front for these crimes in our city?

Who elses money was/is being laundered thru El Vaquero?

What does this say about the judgement of these city officials?

They’ve taken entire family businesses away from honest citizens with no proof of any wrong doing and before any court could hear any evidence…yet they allow this???

The city officials felt so strongly about Guzman that they made him partner in their city redevelopment plans.
… I can hear the shredders from here…

    The answer is TOTAL CORRUPTION.

Is it true that we have to pay another 6 months of 2007 values on our MP property taxes because they chose NOT to reassess until after the May payment is due instead of in Feb/March like usual? Is that legal? I don’t see how that can be legal. Homes prices have dropped a good 40% since then and if it’s legal then it sure isn’t right. It seems like a last ditch effort to keep the income rolling in before TSHTF imo. Why hasn’t anyone latched onto this yet? This just aint right. Can anyone elaborate on this?

Why does Guzman still have a Virgina liquor license (under LKG Enterprises as of Feb 2009 and renewed 12/08)? It’s on the Virginia ABC license download. I checked. LKG stands for Luis K. Guzman. An ABC license is forbidden in a place with gun & drug trafficking violations. Period. MP should be demanding that the liquor license is revoked with penalties. Period. I want more that a wrist slap. Manassas Park needs to revoke LKG’s business license. This is obvious. Guzman’s arrest is already public knowledge & his cover is blown. If he is cooperating with the Feds, he may get a reduced sentence, but why is he, an illegal alien, allowed to continue to operate a business that probably laundered drug & gun money? How hard is this to figure out? Guzman’s connections to MP officials certainly raises many questions! For such a little town MP sure has big problems. I need to find out where MP buys their brooms as they sure seem to be great at sweeping bad stuff under the rug. I want one on those brooms.

MP public servants - WHAT IS GOING ON???????????????????? Apparently, public servant has nothing to with doing the right thing. How depressing yet believable.

Legalize drugs, tax the crap out of it, and it will fix many of the problems currently associated with them (and help pay for the issues it does not fix). The current methods only enrich the drug lords in foreign countries.

Just like booze was legalized. You had a big rum runner who made millions during Prohibition whose family still today makes millions because they get $.05 on every bottle of Scotch imported into this country. Not a bad deal, huh? Some enterprising drug dealers (both foriegn and domestic) could learn from this.
