i don’t see how people can’t recognize that…and the “billboard erecting, border-jumping ” people out there are counted among them certainly. history is most assuredly lost on them.

every ethnic group in history..white…black…latin american…middle eastern…asian has moved into some area from somewhere else, taken over their people, water, food, land and @#$%^& those people off. it happens and will always continue to happen. call it human nature or whatever. man like other animal species is a warring species. and to some degree it will never stop except for a few brief interludes thereby breaking up the current melee.

war and peace…light and dark….good and bad…yin and yang, you can’t have one without the other. if one gains dominance over the other chaos will rule the day….case in point. it can’t last forever.

What a co-incidence, I am also Cherokee and what an interesting history lesson, I always assumed that all of our ancestors came over the Bering Land Bridge from asia.

Fernandez had a trial last year and he was ordered to take the sign down. You don’t have to be a lawyer to understand the laws.

And please read my other post. I thanked the City for their fast reaction to Fernandez.

Law schools in the USA do not teach “skip trial, go straight to jail” Perhaps that is the rule of law in Russia, but it is not the rule here.

Grandstanding and rhetoric is no substute for substance. The matter is now in court. In a democracy, that’s where the “action” is. It’s not in the streets through mob rule, or through the government having increased unfettered power.

So, Maureen, tough talk by you, but what law school did you go to where they teach skip trial, go straight to jail? Russian law school?

And by the way, stop grandstanding. You should know better.

Maureen, there has never been “inaction”, although it
may seem like it sometimes. This is an issue of law
and must go through a legal process to move forward.
Fernandez has attempted to goad Manassas to do
something rash and open itself to a lawsuit - it won’t.
The city will see this through properly - in court.
