The anti’s posted a Table - which they call a chart - of the Crime Statistics that covers or refers to crimes committed in PW Co. No source cited - at least i did not see one cited. Would guess that its source would be the Uniform Crime Statistics Report which I believe is the work of the U.S. Dept. of Justice. Of course, since each jurisdiction collects this information and then passes it to the Justice Dept.the anti’s could have obtained the data from PW Co. before the County submitted it to Justice.

The participants there have become all wrapped up with some negative numbers that are probably just errors, or adjustments that are explained in footnotes - which they do not show - or changes that occurred from numerous downloadings of the data - incompatible systems, etc. In any case, according to some of their posts, the Table is apparently flawed.

I didn’t know of this until it was pointed out to me. But, back during The Great Depression, President Herbert Hoover ordered the deportation of ALL illegal aliens in order to make jobs available to American citizens that desperately needed work.

Harry Truman deported over two million Illegal’s after WWII to create jobs for returning veterans.

And then again in 1954, President Dwight Eisenhower deported 13 million Mexican nationals! The program was called ‘Operation Wetback’ so that American WWII and Korean veterans had a better chance at jobs. It took 2 Years, but they deported them!

Let’s see: There are about 150 million in the work force at full employment. Now there are almost 8% unemployed. Interestingly, 8% of 150 million is 12 million. Is that number familiar?

Black Saint, in total agreement with you on this. I outlined similar points to all my elected officials with a request to quit ducking the issue with the “immigration reform” response they continue to give, as these are two separate issues.

If our elected officials are serious about restoring our economy why not start here and then figure out how much they really need to spend?

1. Put millions of Americans to work by eliminating the illegal workforce currently in place.

2. Save millions of dollars currently being drained from local, state and federal programs by the illegal population.

3. Reinvest millions back into our economy through the elimination of illegal alien remittance.

Due to the fact that many of the elected “elite” have worked hard to put this mess in place in order to serve the needs of their campaign finance constituents, and not the public at large, the only solution would be a non partisan flush every election cycle. That is easier said than done because outside of presidential elections it has been 39 years since we have seen over 40% of registered voters turn out for federal elections.
