Love all children big dog?

Born and unborn?

Do you include in your nice sounding love and mercy those unique children of God that are aborted at 3 months, 6 months, even 9 months and left to die and thrown literally in the trash like your pal obama and his new hhs secretary did in Kansas?

Of course those little ones don't vote and don't look good in photo shoots (abortion is messy and bloody you know) on the front page of the daily news.

Praying for you today brother.

Luke 17:
"3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him."

This verse shows that we should help our brothers and sisters get back on track by rebuking sinful behavior. All Christians are responsible for this. This is true love.

Look at it like this...when you were a child and were making a fuss because your parents told you not to do something (that might harm you/others or get you into trouble, etc.) were they telling you not to do something out of love for you? Of course. This is the same thing.

Exodus 20:
"15 Thou shalt not steal."

"17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's."

Scripture is clear. The items I listed pertain to these items in particular.

God has determined sinful behavior....thou shall not covet and thou shall not steal, etc. .... all are in the Bible if you actually read the Bible.

Big Dog....nice of you to dodge the questions presented. You make a claim and don't back it up with any fact. Nice.

"The list of sins I presented ...etc." Having fun?

Ok, know the Good News Gospel and great literature
aren't in your comfort zone. So be it. We will just
have to agree to disagree.

Great program at Manassas Baptist last night featuring
the Manassas Community Chorale and the Voices
United Choir. Despite the rain, there was a full
sanctuary to listen to a most impressive program
including "The God of Love My Sheperd Is".

My list: 1)Love God 2)Love all God's children.

Peace be with you.

What would Jesus Christ do? HE certainly would not want someone to continue a sinful lifestyle. Nor would HE want anyone to "assist" anyone in continuing their sinful lifestyle. The list of sins I presented in my post break quite a few commandments (coveting, stealing, etc.).

Big Dog, think of it like this....if you knew someone was always getting drunk would it be more loving to help them stop that sinful behavior by bringing it to their attention for intervention or continue to allow them to get drunk because they might get mad and not like to hear you explain that what they are doing is wrong (not only harming themselves but potentially others as well)? Ultimately the tough love approach (confronting what they are doing wrong) will help them in the long run (whether they want to hear it or not). By the way Shakespeare is NOT scripture.

What Greg L said on 13 Mar 2009 at 8:49 pm re transcribing sermons...

Check out Naturally Speaking transcription software. With a bit of training, it turns audio text captured on a digital recorder (Sony's work great and are cheap) into Microsoft Word Documents. It works!

It says a great deal about a writer when they estrapulate

full blown apology for illegal aliens. I confess to being

What The Patriot (Got E-Verify?) said on 15 Mar 2009 at 6:48 am,

Geee... I thought only God could determine what constitutes sinful behavior. None of the things you mention are even remotely covered in the bible. Why not stop worrying about this temporal world and start worrying about the next? I really don't think Jesus had your property values in mind when he preached the Sermon on the Mount. People who use scrupture to protect "things" just don't "get it" because "things" don't matter. The first thing the Apostles did was leave all of those "things" behind to follow Jesus.

(Literally, here) for God's sake, quite worrying about your neighbor (unless you are on a mission for Christ)! None of this earthly stuff really matters... we are only here for a while... and we only have one job that counts... getting in to heaven!

I'm afraid that your camel might be a bit too overloaded with material worries to make it through the eye of a needle... but hey, I'm certainly not in any position to judge.

Big Dog, please answer this question:
Do illegal immigrants show love to their neighbors by: coveting the wealth of others, stealing IDs, stealing jobs, using fraudulent documents, trashing the areas that they move into, stealing benefits that they are not entitled to, resisting fitting into a community that they move into, and aiding and abetting other illegal immigrants in doing the same sinful activities etc. etc. etc.? True Christians will let these people (illegal immigrants) and their legal supporters know that Jesus Christ loves them and has paid for their sins. Therefore, they should "actively" turn away from this sinful behavior and do the right thing(this is true repentence). Just because someone is "poor" does not entitle them to be sinful. Jesus Christ is the true treasure not material wealth. Please study your Bible.

Remember: "Seek ye the kingdom of God first and all other things will be provided"? Look this verse up.

Did you learn that quote at the Unitarian Church?

The poor need Christ, not a handout.

Open your Bible and read it . . .

Samuel 2:7
The Lord maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.

Proverbs 13:7
There is that maketh himself rich, yet hath nothing: there is that maketh himself poor, yet hath great riches.

Proverbs 28:6
Better is the poor that walketh in his uprightness, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich.

Matthew 26:11
For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always.

Luke 6:20
And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.

VOICE is trouble.

They are right out of the Obama playbook of "community organizing".

They get liberal pastors to demand money from local governments for dental care for the "poor" and low cost housing for the "poor" etc, in return they get votes from these same "poor" who got the free stuff for candiates they tell them to vote for!

The devil really is roaring like a lion!
