National Tea Party

Lots of good ideas in this video, and this idea of a “National Tea Party” in the spirit of the protests Colonial Americans waged against the British is awfully appealing. What’s happening in Congress is outrageous, and it’s definitely well past time for Americans to stand up and make our employees start performing better.

Great idea. Maybe MWB can help organize us since they are able to round up so many people who don’t have phones or internet access. They march, we march. Turnabout is fair play.

Dubya’s bizarre stance on stem-cell research, abortion, torture-that-really-isn’t-but-everythang’s fine, and wonderful vision on our nation and the economy just got a guy elected whose middle name is Hussein. . .
Earth to Virginia, you live in a blue state. . .you’ve missed the tea party already. . .
Not totally accurate, but notice he never mention Democrat Republican, Conservitive, Liberal, etc.
It is all about electing the right people and holding them accountable - after a while nearly everyone of our elected people forget about the accountable part.

We are long past due hitting the streets to show our government leaders that they work for US and not the other way around. Pelosi’s comments yesterday saying she was against ICE enforcing our immigration laws as “un-American” is out of line to say the least. She is so far out of touch with the American people she might just as well be from another planet. She has her lap dog REID at her heels.
Obama held a “town meeting” last night and of course it was carried by the Communist News Network. The usual “stock” questions were asked at “random” by “average” Americans. SURE! Obama said he will begin to get “comprehensive immigration” rolling (same old program what was defeated twice in the Senate. Guess he was “out to lunch” when both immigration bills were defeated last year.
If we don’t hold mass protests against illegal immigration and his fiscal policies, this country is doomed to become a third-world nation and one that is bankrupt at that. I don’t know why groups such as NumbersUSA and such are not organizing mass rallies to show that the American public will not stand for his policies re immigration and the economy.
Let’s show them that the 1,000,000 man march was just a company picnic!
I’ll be there, with my family and friends. We are just waiting for someone to organize this effort.
Really, it’s beyond D’s and R’s. The whole group needs to go. The toilet should be flushed. The old saying about how power corrupts is being illustrated in spades with our government. The arrogance of Frank, Specter, Graham, and, yes Obama is nauseating.
An interesting video. There are many tea parties being organized around the Country. I believe there is one planned for DC, and a few in Virginia, though, none in our area, I think because of the DC party.
In any event, we can all sit here and type about big things, but unless we put into action those words it does not matter.

The Electoral College was adopted in 1787 because of the physical barriers to conducting a national election for President. “Fearing voters would not have access to information about the candidates, the delegates could not imagine the logistics of taking a national ballot.” Obviously, that barrier no longer applies !!!

Guys, if you don’t understand the wisdom of the Electoral College in protecting the Republic and providing some small barrier to a direct Democracy ie: mob rule, then I can’t help you, and you’re not really aware of what you’re supporting.
Be really careful about which riled up mob you end up joining up with, lest you inadvertently assist the real enemy — collectivism in all its colors.
